Dread rag
A unisex, one size fits all decorative head covering specifically designed as a protective barrier and maintenance item for those who have dreadlocks, braids, extensions, micro braids, naturally long hair or any other hair style which extends down the back below the neck line. Due to the fact the head covering is relatively inexpensive and can be produced in a wide variety of graphic patterns and colors allows for use by a wide variety of users.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to hair management and maintenance.
2. Description of the Art
The art displays the invention at various angles to give a visual of its construction and placement of various parts.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTIONIt is a general object of this invention to act as a decorative head covering for persons having long hair.
It is a further object of this invention to provide protection and control for those who have long hair and long hair designs.
It is a particular object of this invention that it is specially designed for individuals with long hair, especially individuals with hair that extends down the back below the neckline in the form of a suitable fabric.
It is a particular object of this invention which allows for one size fits all design.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe above and other objects of this invention are provided by a head covering named the Dread Rag being constructed of several parts to form one unit. The simplicity of its construction allows for a suitable inexpensive product worthwhile to individuals with hair types it was invented specifically for.
In a preferred embodiment of this invention the Dread Rag is constructed of a suitable fabric which has durable, breathable and stretchable properties as to allow the Dread rag to dissipate heat and expand to accommodate a wide variety of hair designs when attached to the head.

Claims
1. A unisex decorative head covering named the Dread Rag designed specifically for individuals with long hair styles and long hair designs. Long hair designs meaning dread locks, braids, extensions, micro braids, naturally lengthy hair and anything the like which extends down the back below the neck line. The Dread Rag being of a suitable fabric durable, breathable and stretchable allowing for heat exchange, flexibility and long lasting product. Dread Rag being decorative in design it allows for a wide variety of different colors and graphic patterns.
2. The head covering also being designed with maintenance needs of the above types of hair styles in mind. Allowing the user to protect their hair via an extended section of the covering, and securing said covering to itself around above mentioned hair style, to itself via the use of buttons positioned on one side of the rag and eyelet positioned parallel to said buttons.
3. The head covering also being designed to prevent and/or limit the disruption and/or protect said hair from external disturbances. External disturbances meaning sporting activities, sleeping, protection from water while bathing, weather conditions and/or any other several activities which could inhibit prolonged hair appearance.
