Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention generally relates to a game system, and more particularly to a game system used in a mobile phone mainly.

2. The Related Art

With the development of electrical technology, a mobile phone is generally used in our daily life as a communication means. The mobile phone not only has a communication function, but also has many other functions such as video games etc. The video games are disposed in the mobile phone by corresponding game programs and can be displayed on a displaying screen of the mobile phone. The video games can be played by operating control keys of the mobile phone, wherein the control keys are installed corresponding game controller functions by the game programs. However, for the control keys of the mobile phone are arranged close together, it is difficult to operate the control keys rightly in process of playing the video games. Though an indicator-light module is disposed in the mobile phone, the indicator-light module is controlled to be lighted or put out simultaneously that can't overcome the difficulty. Therefore, a game system which can facilitate the control keys to be rightly operated is required.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An object of the present invention is to provide a game system which includes a micro-controller unit having game programs therein for showing many video games and indicator-light control programs therein corresponding to the game programs, a key module having a plurality of control keys each connected with the micro-controller unit so as to be installed corresponding game controller functions by the game programs, a displaying device connected with the micro-controller unit for displaying the video games thereon, an indicator-light driver connected with the micro-controller unit for being controlled by the indicator-light control programs of the micro-controller unit, and an indicator-light module having a plurality of indicating lights each connected with the indicator-light driver for switching the indicating light to be on or off respectively, wherein the indicating lights are one-to-one corresponding to the control keys so as to indicate which of the control keys should be operated in process of playing the video games. So it is easy to operate the control keys rightly due to the light indication of the corresponding indicating lights.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The present invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art by reading the following description of a preferred embodiment thereof, with reference to the attached drawings, in which:

FIG. 1 is a block diagram of a game system according to the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a circuitry of the game system without a key module and a displaying device; and

FIG. 3 is a view showing that the game system is used in a mobile phone.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference to FIGS. 1-3, a game system according to the present invention is mainly used in a mobile phone and includes a key module 10, a micro-controller unit (MCU) 11, a displaying device 12, an indicator-light driver 13 and an indicator-light module 14.

The MCU 11 has game programs therein for showing many video games and indicator-light control programs therein corresponding to the game programs. The key module 10 includes a plurality of control keys 101 each connected with the MCU 11 so as to be installed corresponding game controller functions by the game programs. The displaying device 12 is a displaying screen of the mobile phone and connected with the MCU 11 so as to display the video games thereon. The indicator-light driver 13 is a 16 channel driver and connected with the MCU 11 by a serial interface for being controlled by the indicator-light control programs of the MCU 11. The indicator-light module 14 includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) 141, wherein a negative electrode of each LED 141 is connected with the indicator-light driver 13 and a positive electrode thereof is connected to an exterior battery so that the LED 141 can be controlled to be lighted or put out by the indicator-light driver 13. The LEDs 141 are one-to-one corresponding to the control keys 101 and disposed under the respective control keys 101 so as to indicate which of the control keys 101 should be operated in process of playing the video games that facilitates the video games to be rightly played.

Referring to FIG. 3 again, an unlimited embodiment is introduced for describing the foregoing game system in detail. In the unlimited embodiment, the game system shows a Smash game on the displaying device 12. After the Smash game is started, twelve cavities 17 are displayed on the displaying device 12 of the mobile phone and each cavity 17 is corresponding to one of the control keys 101, for example, the cavity 17 having an animal 18 coming out therefrom is corresponding to the control key 101 having “5” thereon. When the animal 18 comes out from any of the cavities 17, the MCU 11 controls the indicator-light driver 13 to drive the corresponding LED 141 to be lighted. At this time, the corresponding control key 101 is indicated by the lighted LED 141 to be operated so as to hit the animal 18 in the corresponding cavity 17. After the animal 18 disappears, the MCU 11 controls the indicator-light driver 13 to drive the lighted LED 141 to be put out. So it is easy to operate the control keys 101 rightly due to the light indication of the corresponding LEDs 141.

As described above, the game system of the present invention utilizes the MCU 11 to control the indicator-light driver 13 and further to drive the corresponding LEDs 141 of the indicator-light module 14 to be lighted or put out in process of playing the video games that can indicate which of the control keys 101 should be operated, such that facilitates the control keys 101 to be rightly operated and further facilitates the video games to be rightly played.

The foregoing description of the present invention has been presented for purposes of illustration and description. It is not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise form disclosed, and obviously many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teaching. For example, the game system can be also used in a personal digital assistant (PDA) and so on. Such modifications and variations that may be apparent to those skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of this invention as defined by the accompanying claims.
