The through hole and the two magnetic members of the main body form a magnetizing portion. The handle of the main body has a periphery provided with a demagnetizing portion.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a wrench rack that hold and clamp the wrenches closely.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a wrench rack, wherein the clamping space of each of the locking units has a tapered shape to clamp the respective wrench, so that each of the wrenches is clamped tightly and closely by the elastic actions of the two clamping plates of each of the locking units so as to facilitate packaging and storage of each of the wrenches.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a wrench rack, wherein the main body has magnetizing and demagnetizing functions to facilitate a user magnetizing and demagnetizing each of the wrenches and to facilitate the user operating each of the wrenches.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a wrench rack, wherein the main body is attached to a metallic surface on a working place by the magnetically attractive members to facilitate a user identifying and operating the wrench rack.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to the drawings and initially to
The mounting frame 21 is mounted on a first side of the main body 1. The mounting frame 21 has a substantially U-shaped profile and has two opposite sides each provided with the locking units 22 for mounting the wrenches 4. The mounting frame 21 has a periphery provided with a plurality of fixing holes 211.
Each of the locking units 22 includes two opposite flexible clamping plates 221, and each of the wrenches 4 is clamped between the two clamping plates 221 of each of the locking units 22. Each of the locking units 22 has a clamping space 223 defined between the two clamping plates 221 to clamp the respective wrench 4. Each of the two clamping plates 221 of each of the locking units 22 is inclined relative to a surface 210 of the mounting frame 21. The two clamping plates 221 of each of the locking units 22 are inclined toward each other, so that the clamping space 223 of each of the locking units 22 has a tapered shape and has a dimension decreased gradually from the surface 210 of the mounting frame 21 to a distal end 224 of each of the two clamping plates 221 to clamp the respective wrench 4 tightly and closely.
Each of the magnetically attractive members 3 is mounted on a second side of the main body 1. Preferably, each of the magnetically attractive members 3 is a magnet. Each of the wrenches 4 is a T-shaped wrench.
The main body 1 has an endless shape. The main body 1 has an end portion provided with an upright handle 11. The handle 11 of the main body 1 has an inner portion provided with a through hole 111 and two opposite magnetic members 112 surrounding the through hole 111. The through hole 111 and the two magnetic members 112 of the main body 1 form a magnetizing portion 110. The handle 11 of the main body 1 has a periphery provided with a demagnetizing portion 113. The demagnetizing portion 113 of the main body 1 is located outside of and aligns with the through hole 111 and one of the two magnetic members 112. The first side of the main body 1 has a periphery provided with a plurality of screw bores 13, and the wrench rack further comprises a plurality of locking screws 14 respectively extending through the fixing holes 211 of the mounting frame 21 and respectively screwed into the screw bores 13 of the main body 1 to attach mounting frame 21 to the main body 1. The second side of the main body 1 has a periphery provided with a plurality of mounting holes 12 for mounting the magnetically attractive members 3 respectively.
In operation, the main body 1 is attached to a metallic surface on a working place by the magnetically attractive members 3 to facilitate a user identifying and operating the wrench rack. In such a manner, each of the wrenches 4 can be removed from the two clamping plates 221 of each of the locking units 22 for use. At this time, each of the wrenches 4 can be inserted into the through hole 111 of the main body 1 so that each of the wrenches 4 is magnetized by the two magnetic members 112 of the main body 1 to have a magnetic feature so as to magnetically attract a metallic workpiece, such as a screw, bolt and the like. On the contrary, when each of the wrenches 4 touches the demagnetizing portion 113 of the main body 1, each of the wrenches 4 is demagnetized to eliminate its magnetic feature.
As shown in
Accordingly, the clamping space 223 of each of the locking units 22 has a tapered shape to clamp the respective wrench 4, so that each of the wrenches 4 is clamped tightly and closely by the elastic actions of the two clamping plates 221 of each of the locking units 22 so as to facilitate packaging and storage of each of the wrenches 4. In addition, the main body 1 has magnetizing and demagnetizing functions to facilitate a user magnetizing and demagnetizing each of the wrenches 4 and to facilitate the user operating each of the wrenches 4. Further, the main body 1 is attached to a metallic surface on a working place by the magnetically attractive members 3 to facilitate a user identifying and operating the wrench rack.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
