Beverage bottle illuminator
The Beverage Bottle Illuminator is an illumination device, designed to market bottled beverages, by attaching the illuminator to any area or specific location on the beverage bottle. The intent of the Beverage Bottle Illuminator is to attract attention to the bottle by use of illumination. The Beverage bottle Illuminator can be made to fit any shape, size, color, or type of bottle or any other type of application. The Beverage Bottle Illuminator uses the use of a Mylar backing in order to reflect the light up throughout the bottle capturing the maximum amount of glow.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a means and a method of providing illumination, attraction and interaction to a bottle beverage. More particularly, the invention relates to an illuminating body having a selectively operable chemical luminescent illuminating device provided to a product and the method of making same.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Distinguishing ordinary consumer products from their like competitors in an attractive and appealing manner increases sales and consumption of the product. In doing so, marketers aim to appeal to the five senses of human beings—smell, touch, vision, hearing, and taste.
In creating consumer products; the taste, smell, and visual appeal of a product, such as a bottled beverage, are optimized to appeal to a target market while maintaining economic viability of the product are in the same way optimized. As a result, consumer products are often introduced in aggressively styled containers. For example bottled beverages have edgy flavors and colors.
However, once optimized such appeal oriented attributes, especially visual attributes, remain fixed. Consequently, consumers can quickly become accustomed to a products appeal. Attributes that seem new and radical when introduced become ordinary. Bottled beverage shapes that once were distinctive become a part of the consumer's landscape.
It has been proposed that a product in an unusual and or eye-catching manner would increase the attention that yields higher sales. This is especially true for products sold in containers, such as bottled beverages. It has similarly been proposed that attracting the user in an interesting and or rewarding interaction would also yield higher sales. It has further been propose that changing the coloration of a product in response to such an interaction would further increase consumer interest.
Therefore, what is desired are means and/or devices to enhance to consumers the appeal of bottled beverages and for those means and/or devices to be simple, cost effective, and incorporate interaction between the consumer and the product.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe chemical luminescent illuminator can be applied to any area of the bottled beverage. It can be used on the bottom of the bottle as depicted in the CAD drawing, or it can be attached to the cap of the bottle, or can be molded or built into the actual bottled beverage in any location desired, or necessary.
In addition, to chemical luminescence, L.E.D., fiber optics, lasers, incandescent lighting, fluorescent and all other methods or future lighting sources, including different chemical reactions mixtures, and/or different chemical ratios may be implemented in place of the chemical luminescent applicator to achieve the desired illumination. For other lighting options besides chemical luminescent, a power source may be implemented in order to illuminate the bottle.
Theme music or all music variations of music and sound can be added or used individually or in conjunction with the illuminator to achieve the desired marketing appeal of the product.
Applications include but are not limited to, bottled water, carbonated sodas, carbonated water, mineral water, flavored water, champagne, wine, beer, liquors and any/all other bottled beverages.
Illumination can be turned on using but not limited to, toggle switch, pressure activator, push button switch, by touch, by noise, or impact and radio frequency transmitter.
