Abstract: An air vent tube for liquids and beverages allows air to flow into a bottom portion of a container from which the liquid or beverage is poured. This reduces agitation and congestion that occurs when air attempts to flow into the container opening at the same time the liquid is attempting to flow out of the container opening. The air vent tube is a single open tube with no moving parts that assures the pressure inside the container is equalized with the ambient air pressure. The air vent tube is especially useful, for example, for pouring carbonated beverages from bottles. The air vent tube saves time, reduces the risk of overflow from foaming or head, reduces costs, and results in a more aesthetically appealing pour.

The ES-CCF does not require steam sterilization and is durable as the device is constructed of polymethyl methacrylate or any other such hydrophobic material and offers possibility of altering the nature of the growth surface (hydrophilic and hydrophobic). The ES-CCF also provides external aeration like a bioreactor, thus increasing the versatility of applications. Further, the device can be operated as a cylindrical flask, that is without the inner arrangement.

Abstract: A nail polish display system includes a case, which may take the form of a shelving system or platform, sized to hold and display multiple bottles of nail polish. The bottles are placed on rollers, vibration generating pads, or placed in vicinity of a magnetic disc or rod. A motor operates a drive system for spinning the rollers or magnetic disc/rod, which in turns agitates the liquid nail polish in the bottles. The drive systems may take the form of a gear train system or a pulley system. For the magnetic agitation, the magnetic disc/rod causes ferromagnetic balls within the nail polish bottle to agitate the nail polish. Additionally or alternatively, the nail polish display system may include protective sleeves or covers for the nail polish bottles. Preferably, the sleeves are contoured to permit a brand or color of the nail polish to be adequately visible when the bottles are in the display case.
