BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The invention will now be described, by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which;

FIG. 1 is a front, side, and underneath perspective view of an illustrative embodiment of the bag toss game;

FIG. 2 is a view of an rear leg illustrative embodiment of the bag toss game;

FIG. 3 is a view of a plastic overlay and power source, illustrative embodiment of the bag toss game;

FIG. 4 is a playing board graphics view illustrative embodiment of the bag toss game;

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Referring to the drawings, an illustrative embodiment of the bag toss game is generally indicated by reference numeral;

  • 1. The bag toss game 1 includes a frame 2 which may have a generally elongated, rectangular shape, as shown, or any suitable alternative shape. The frame 2 typically includes a pair of generally elongated, parallel side frame members 3 and a pair of end frame members 4 extending between the side frame members 3. A game panel 5 is supported by the frame 2.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, rear leg 6 and game panel 5 above a supporting surface to impart a sloped orientation to the game panel 5. A series of 3 leg mounting clips 17 on underneath side of 5 game panel to secure rear leg 6 in position. A set of two stops 15 in corners of 5 game panel on underneath top side of playing board, for stabilization of 6 rear leg, and support for 4 back frame member. A set of two support braces 14 to secure stability of 5 game panel located on underneath side of 5 game panel and frame member 4. A pair of two end panel gusset supports 13 mounted on underneath side of 5 game panel at each frame member 3.

At least one opening extends through the game panel 5. For example, a center opening 7 may extend through substantially the middle of the game panel 5. Various peripheral openings 8 may also extend through the game panel 5 in a selected pattern, such as in generally surrounding relationship with respect to the center opening 7. In some embodiments of the bag toss game 1, multiple target circles 11 are provided on the game panel 5, in concentric relationship with respect to each other, with the center opening 7 extending through the centermost target circle 11. Circle rims 12 may be provided between the target circles 11. The circle rims and outer perimeter of playing board 12 may be glow-in-the-dark plastic, for example.

As shown in FIG. 3, a plastic full embodiment overlay light source 16 is provided on top side of the game panel 5, to illuminate playing board for night time enjoyment. As shown in FIG. 3, a battery power supply 17 is connected to the plastic full embodiment overlay 16, which may be provided separate from the game panel 5, as shown in FIG. 3, or in any suitable alternative position.

In typical play of the toss game, the light source are initially turned on by the battery power box 17. Thus, the light source 16 emits a lighted surface across the playing board 5 and which is received by the battery power box 17 as shown in FIG. 3. A player (not shown) stands at a distance from the bag toss game 1 and holds one or multiple bean bags 9 (FIG. 2). The player attempts to toss each bean bag 9 through one of the openings in the game panel 5. Point values can be assigned to the openings depending on the degree of difficulty of the bean bag 9 through each. For example, three points may be assigned to the center opening 7 and two points may be assigned to each of the peripheral openings 8. In the event that it falls through the center opening 7 or one of the peripheral openings 8.

Each player is typically awarded three points for each toss of the bean bag 9 through the center opening 7 and two points for each toss of the bean bag 9 through one of the peripheral openings 8 per 10 game rules.

While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications can be made in the invention and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications which may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
