Abstract: A portable training system enables the deployment of customizable training equipment. The system has an inclined surface over which users move to provide and increased work out. Additional equipment such as ropes or elastic bands are able to be attached to the side to broaden the exercises available to the users. The system incorporates marks for targeted movement and coordination of the work out.

Abstract: A water floatable bag toss target, the target including a landing surface disposed overlying a bottom surface by a left side, a right side, a front end and a back end each joined to the landing surface and bottom surface. The landing surface is positively sloped along its surface when moving from the front end toward the back end and the bottom surface is oriented horizontally. A scoring hole is in the landing surface and communicating with a scoring box compartment located between the landing surface and the bottom surface. The scoring box compartment has compartment walls extending between the landing surface and the bottom surface and dividing an inside of the target into an internal hollow compartment and the scoring box compartment. The internal hollow compartment is water-tight relative to the scoring box compartment and relative to an outside of the target.

Abstract: A bean bag tossing game assembly for achieving a desired separation between platforms includes a first platform and a tape measure. The tape measure is coupled to the first platform. A tape of the tape measure is selectively extensible so that the tape measure is configured to measure a distance between the first platform and a second platform to achieve a desired separation between the first platform and the second platform.

Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present disclosure describe a frameless basketball backboard assembly and a method for producing a frameless basketball backboard assembly. A mounting structure is attached to one side of the backboard assembly, and a support assembly mounted to the backboard assembly connects the backboard assembly to a base. A rim may be added to a side of the backboard assembly by attaching to the support assembly.

Abstract: A throwing game includes a panel assembly having a support frame and a first panel and a second panel supported by the support frame. The first panel has an aperture through a major surface. The first panel can be configured to be supported by the support frame in two positions, a first position wherein the first panel extends from the support frame forming a platform with a free end, and a second position wherein the first panel is parallel to the second panel. In addition or in the alternative, the second panel can be configured to be supported by the support frame in two positions, wherein in one position the second panel is adjacent the first panel and another position wherein the second panel is further from the first panel than when in said one position. The throwing game further includes a panel assembly support connected to the panel assembly to support at least one end of the panel assembly off a ground surface.

Abstract: A cornhole platform is provided that offers improved distributed lighting across the platform playing surfaces for nighttime play, as well as enhanced aesthetics and graphic presentation. The platform playing surfaces are formed from acrylic or acrylic glass. A translucent finish is obtained on the playing surface by sanding the underside layer of the acrylic sheet, where the diffused finish is used to trap light provided by light sources that are arranged along the perimeter of a frame that holds the one or more acrylic sheets. The sanded finish acts to diffuse light from the light source to more evenly fill the playing surface with light. As a result, the “spotlight effect” common to conventional illuminated gameboards is precluded thereby making play under low ambient light conditions of twilight or outdoor darkness possible without creating night vision impairment associated with looking into a comparatively bright light relative to the ambient lighting.

Abstract: To improve throwing accuracy an athlete can makes use of a collapsible target training device that can be easily stored, transported, and deployed. The collapsible target training device includes multiple collapsible frames, multiple ball catching nets, a base, and a frame adjustment mechanism. The multiple collapsible frames are articulated frames that are connected in a series to form a scissors mechanism. This enables the series of collapsible frames to be extended into a tower or collapsed toward the base. The base is a rigid platform that prevents the series of collapsible frames from toppling over while extended. The series of collapsible frames is mounted onto the base so that the base is able to provide structural support and stability to the series of collapsible frames when extended to form a tower. The multiple ball-catching nets are attached to the series of collapsible frame.

When the box portion placed on a generally flat surface, pivoting the first elongated rectangular panel member into a generally vertical orientation and pivoting the second elongated rectangular portion to engage the proximal edge with the slot deploys the first and ancillary pipes in a generally vertical orientation for receiving tossed bags.

The shots comprise a cover and a fill material. A method for playing a bag toss game comprises at least two players tossing shots at a target assembly and awarding points based on the resting location of the shots. The game may be won by the player winning the most number of points or rounds in the game.

Abstract: An illuminated game kit for game play at night includes a first generally rectangular shaped board having a peripheral edge and a hole therethrough. The hole is positioned along a central longitudinal axis of the first board and proximate a first end of the first board. A groove is positioned around a periphery of the hole at a top surface of the first board. An illuminated ring is configured for positioning in the groove. A first bean bag has an outside edge and an illuminated string is secured to the outside edge. The illuminated ring and the illuminated string are configured for selectively transmitting light therefrom.

Abstract: A target for a tossing game includes a first primary wall defining a first aperture therethrough, a second primary wall defining a second aperture therethrough, and two sidewalls each extending between the first primary wall and the second primary wall on opposing longitudinal edges of the first primary wall and the second primary wall. The two sidewalls each define converging longitudinal edges, with at least one of the converging longitudinal edges tapered toward the other of the converging longitudinal edges. A first sidewall of the two sidewalls includes an interior panel and an exterior panel, the interior panel is adjacent to and extends from an outer edge of the first primary wall, the exterior panel is adjacent to and extends from an outer edge of the second primary wall over the interior panel, and the target is formed of a single planar piece of material.

Abstract: The invention is a device that modifies the target aperture for the standard game board for the traditional lawn game known as cornhole or bean bag toss. The device, when inserted into the game board's target aperture, replaces the open hole with a circular shaped “trapdoor” that opens only when directly struck by a tossed game bag. When opened, the trapdoor allows the passage of the game bag through the game boards target aperture. The device includes a spring hinge mechanism that returns the trapdoor to the closed position after the bag has passed through the opening. The device is designed so that it can be quickly and easily inserted into and removed from the target aperture of the game board without moving or damaging the game board.

Abstract: A portable bean bag toss game having first and second target boards, a plurality of bean bags, a first set of target board legs and a second set of target board legs. Each of the target boards includes a planar top surface and a bottom face and a target hole. The first and second target boards are adapted to be clasped together with the bottom faces back-to-back and carried as a unit with the plurality of bean bags removably stored in pockets within the back-to-back bottom faces and the first and second sets of legs removably stored within mating recesses of the back-to-back bottom faces.

Abstract: A bat has a core section made from wood or grass material fibers artificially fused together and an outer section for substantially surrounding the core section. The core section can be made exclusively of bamboo fibers artificially fused together. The outer section has opposite bottom and top subsections and opposite side subsections, adhered to corresponding sides of the core section. The outer section can be made of bamboo strips. The bat also has an insert or plug made of a wood material. The insert or plug is disposed in a void provided in a distal end portion of the bat.

Abstract: A ball separation device for a golf range target system is described. The ball separation device comprises a golf range target having a golf ball delivery shaft. A ball isolation system within the golf ball delivery shaft is configured to temporarily trap the ball within the shaft. A gate is configured to control the routing of a golf ball released from the ball isolation system. A control system queries the RFID reader while a ball is trapped in the ball isolation system. If the RFID reader receives a signal that identifies the golf ball as an RFID golf ball, the ball separation control system routes the ball to an RFID ball collector, otherwise, the ball is routed to a secondary location. After the determination is made as to where the trapped golf ball is to be routed, the ball isolation system releases the ball.

Abstract: Provided is an illuminated toss game having at least one (1) game piece that is tossed into at least one (1) scoring hole located in a top surface of a playing platform. The toss game further includes a speaker and various lighting devices that are activated when a game piece is tossed through a scoring hole. To sense when a game piece passes through a scoring hole the toss game also includes a detector that emits an electrical signal that causes lights near the scoring hole to signal that a point has been scored. The toss game further includes an on-board battery, power and audio ON/OFF switches, and a controller that causes various lighting and sound effects to occur. Additionally, the game piece includes illumination lights.

Abstract: An apparatus for a disc tossing game is a free-standing target with a scoring sheet supported in a vertical orientation by a target support frame, which is perpendicularly attached to a base frame. The scoring sheet comprises a plurality of edge loops, within which the components of the target support frame are positioned in order to support the scoring sheet. The components of the target support frame and the base frame are elongated rods attached to each other at right angles by elbow fittings and tee fittings. The base frame comprises a number of stabilizing supports to prevent the target from falling over. The scoring sheet comprises a plurality of scoring holes, or slots, of various shapes, sizes, and positionings, through which players attempt to throw a sport disc in order to score points.

Abstract: A bean bag toss device is provided that includes a rounded platform forming a bowl-like configuration and an elevated central section having an open upper. The rounded platform retains a bean bag that is thrown at the device to prevent the bean bag from sliding therefrom and onto the ground. The elevated central section requires a user to toss a bean bag directly into its open upper to score a “bulls-eye”. In one embodiment, a bulls-eye is noted by music from a speaker attached to the platform, whereby the central section includes a motion sensor to register a bulls-eye, which initiates the sound. The device further includes a pair of folding legs that elevate the platform along one end thereof to slope the device towards a user during use. When not in use, multiple platforms can be stacked on top of another in a nesting configuration to conserve storage space.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in practicing pitching and aiming a baseball which includes a target screen having a first attachment apparatus for attaching the target screen to a structure, a first aperture, and a frame attached to the target screen and being positioned at a perimeter of the first aperture thereby reinforcing the target screen around the perimeter of the first aperture against impacts from thrown baseballs. The frame has a rigid construction and defines an opening generally having the shape and size of a baseball strike zone. A plurality of elastic members subdivide the opening, and thus the strike zone, into nine sections to aid a player in aiming for different locations within the strike zone. The opening and first aperture communicate such that thrown baseballs which pass through the first aperture also pass through the opening.

Abstract: A game goal according to the invention, such as a soccer goal, collapses both vertically and laterally. The goal includes joints and brackets which facilitate the collapse of the goal such that the during vertical collapse, the forward uprights of the goal fold below the goal's lower rear support members, enhancing the goals transportability. The goal includes stabilizing arms and corresponding receptacles to stabilize the goal in the collapsed position. The goal also has a resistive element which prevents the goal from collapsing too quickly. The goal further incorporates a rotating joint in a top corner bracket which provides an interference fit with a slot in the top corner bracket and a notch in the upright, thereby providing stability when the goal is in the upright or open position for use. Lateral stability of the goal under the weight of a net is enhanced by angle brackets at the ground level of the goal.

Abstract: An apparatus for playing a drinking game includes a base support member and a vertical pole extending upwardly from the base support member. A vertically extending backboard is secured to the pole adjacent the top thereof and a plurality of hoops are removably secured to the backboard. Plastic drinking cups are held in each of the hoops. The apparatus further includes a plurality of ping pong balls capable of being tossed into and maintained in the cups. The entire apparatus can be disassembled so that it is portable. That is, the hoops are removably secured to the backboard which is removably secured to the vertical pole. In addition, the vertical pole is comprised of several pole sections that fit together in a telescoping manner. The base includes a carrying handle and functions as a carrying case for holding and transporting the pole sections and the hoops with the backboard serving as a cover for the case.

Abstract: Low cost, durable, reusable, lightweight, inexpensive, simple, easy to assemble/disassemble, transportable goal posts. Each goal posts may be composed of single piece T reinforcements and a single piece cross bar reinforcement, as well as readily available construction materials, such as PVC pipe. The bodies of the single piece reinforcements are sized so that the pipes forming the upright posts and crossbar have the same length. Assembly, disassembly, and transportation are simplified. The disassembled components can be carried in vans and SUVs. Internal reinforcements allow flexible, low cost materials such as PVC pipe to be used while maintaining a professional, aesthetic appearance.

Zones have distinct rules for handling passing, receiving, and shooting of a ball during a game. A goal provides two distinctly defined types of scoring zones through which to score the ball from within a peripheral line of the playing surface. One type of scoring zone is at least one open ring shaped opening, and the other is an arced rectangularly shaped opening. The ball may be scored through either of the scoring zones. Points are awarded differently for scoring in either of the two zones and for throwing or kicking the ball through the two zones. Ball comprises at least two panels having arms attached along a contiguous seam.

Abstract: A game system comprises a base game-playing structure and at least two target surfaces each defining at least one target zone and depicting different projectile-passing games. The target surfaces are engageable with the base game-playing structure in one or more substantially vertical orientations and configured to receive passed projectiles. The system also includes at least one sensor engaged with the base game-playing structure. The target zone is positioned at a location on the target surface which is aligned with the sensor. The sensor is configured to detect the presence of a projectile at the target zone. An inside cross member and an outside cross member extend between the half length members and are generally parallel to the full length members. A pair of semi-circles, each having substantially the same diameter that is larger than the length of the half length members and less than the length of the full length members. Means are provided for securing the half sections together so that the semi-circles form a full circle. Tubes extend from the circle toward the base to drain water from with in the circle.

Abstract: A portable target for a soccer goal designed with rods that enable an individual to stand on the ground and lift the portable target so that it can be lifted over the top horizontal crossbar of the soccer goal and then set in place. The target has elongated rods with curved hook attaching members designed in a manner that enables an individual to stand on the ground and simply lift the target so that the curved hook attaching members can be extended over the top horizontal crossbar of a soccer goal and then lowered onto the top horizontal crossbar of a soccer goal to be removably affixed thereto. The rod are removably retained within interior channels within the target.

Abstract: An article tossing game assembly includes a frame with a first elongated member and a second elongated member. A plurality of bracing members is attached to and extends between the first and second elongated members. A mount is attached to one of the bracing members. A light emitting apparatus is attached to the mount. A panel is positioned on an upper side of the frame and covers the frame. The panel has a top side and a bottom side and has an aperture therein extending into the top side and outwardly of the bottom side. The aperture is positioned adjacent to the light emitter. The panel is comprised of a translucent material. The light emitter is visible through the panel to direct a person where to aim when attempting to throw articles through the aperture.

Abstract: A bag tossing game for one or more by players comprises foldably deployable target assemblies, associated stabilizing assemblies linked to the target assemblies, and a plurality of bags for throwing by players. Each target assembly presents an inclined impact surface with a target aperture towards which bags are thrown. A foldable elevator pivoted to the target assembly angles the target assembly during play. Foldable feet at an opposite end of the target assemblies offer further support. A stabilizing assembly associated with each target assembly comprises a base disposed on the supporting surface, a platform mounted over the base for supporting bags and beverages and an elongated stanchion extending upwardly from a socket in the base for supporting the platform. The base comprises an elongated slot and cooperating guide channels for interconnecting each target assembly elevator with the stabilizing assembly.

Abstract: The system is composed of two separate assemblies, each including a surface cover cap which can be removed to create an aperture dimensioned to allow a projectile to pass entirely through it. The assemblies are capable of being separated and inclined at a 45° angle to be used to play the popular multiplayer game, beanbag toss. Additionally, the underside of each assembly is equipped with collapsible legs, which allow each assembly to become an independent freestanding table. When configured as freestanding tables, the assemblies may be arranged together in one of three ways: connected perpendicularly to form an L-shaped table, placed side-by-side to form a square table, or connected end-to-end to create a long table that can also be used to play the popular recreational game referred to commonly as beer pong.

Air from a fan or similar air generating means is compelled through the holes for moving sets of balls, each set of balls having a different color, around the top surface of the table-like member. Each of the sets of balls has a color which matches one of the segments. As balls move around the top surface, players must retrieve certain balls which drop into openings in each segment and bounce the balls into a cup located at the center of the top surface. Various rules of play are anticipated based on these basic game components.

The game has a playing surface with multiple openings having indicia associated with football activities, and players toss game pieces at the surface in order to achieve football action determined by the indicia of the opening into which a game piece drops. The game includes a goal the structure with a pair of uprights, and players attempt to score field goals and points after touchdown by tossing a game piece between the uprights. A plurality of template plates are provided to effect different games, and each template plate has a subset of the openings and covers at least one of them. As a result, different games are available with different patterns of openings. A blank, planar form is provided which can be folded and assembled into a game chassis which includes the playing surface.
