FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to holding advertising media in a frame, usually constructed of aluminum extrusion which houses glass that protects and covers the advertising poster. Wherein the poster is changed periodically to promote different types of products or services.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective is to clamp a poster made of a paper derivative design to advertise.

There is a need for a clamp that can be installed in an existing extruded frame that is already assembled which will hold the advertising media in place.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a poster clamp, which can be assembled into an existing frame without utilizing any tools.

The present invention relates to a clamp comprising three sheet metal components, a spring, and two bumpers.

It is an object of the present invention for the bumpers to be made of rubber.

It is an object of the present invention for the clamp to be comprising of a left a right bracket, a pressure plate, bumpers and a compression spring.

The invention accordingly comprises an article of manufacture possessing the features, properties, and the relation of elements, which will be exemplified in the formal patent application, and the scope of the invention will be indicated in the attendant claims.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 illustrates the assembled clamp consisting of three sheet metal components, a spring and two rubber bumpers.

FIG. 2 is an unassembled view of the clamp of FIG. 1.

FIG. 3 illustrates the left and right brackets from different angles.

FIG. 4 illustrates the sheet metal components.

FIG. 5 is an assembled view of the poster clamp.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

A preferred embodiment for the poster clamp is illustrated in the drawing FIG. 1 indicating the assembly, FIG. 2 indicates the exploded view of the assembly which is comprised of FIG. 3 showing the left and right brackets and FIG. 4 indicating the pressure plate.

As shown in FIG. 1, a poster clamp is comprised of a left and right bracket, a left a right bracket 1 and 2, a pressure plate 3, two stem bumpers 4 and a compression spring 5.

Having thus set forth a preferred construction for the this invention, it is to be remembered that this is but a preferred embodiment.

It will thus be seen that the objects set forth above, among those made apparent from the preceding description, are efficiently attained and, since certain changes may be made in the above article without departing from the scope of the invention, it is intended that all matter contained in the above description or shown in the accompanying drawings shall be interpreted as illustrative and not in a limiting sense.

It is also to be understood that the claims asserted are intended to cover all of the generic and specific features of the invention herein described, and all statements of the scope of the invention, which as a matter of language, might be said to fall there between.

Claims
