Abstract: A canvas frame includes an outer frame, a shoulder portion and a canvas. The outer frame includes a front surface facing a front side, a back surface facing a back side, and an interior wall extending between the front and back surfaces and surrounding an interior. The shoulder portion extends from the interior wall into the interior and includes a front surface facing the front side that is recessed from the front surface of the outer frame. The canvas is stretched across the interior and attached to the front surface of the shoulder portion using a plurality of fasteners. Each fastener has an exposed portion. A peripheral edge portion of the canvas includes scalloped portions between adjacent fasteners where the canvas sags toward the interior due to tension in the canvas between opposing fasteners.

Abstract: A planar display assembly is provided with a planar display pane in a frame with apertures formed about a periphery. Base members have a post received within the apertures. A retaining wall with ratchet teeth extends from each base member. Latch members with a hoop portion with a slot receive each retaining wall for adjustment in a direction toward the frame to accommodate display panes of varying thicknesses. A tooth is formed in each latch member to engage the ratchet teeth for adjustment. A release tab is provided on each latch member for manual release of the tooth from the ratchet teeth. A flexible arm extends from each latch members to engage and retain the planar display pane within the frame.

In one aspect, the frame apparatus includes an annular display frame defining a rabbet, a stack positioned in the rabbet, and a spacer assembly. The rabbet is defined by a floor and a wall, the wall including a channel. The spacer assembly may have a rigid portion and a compressible portion. The spacer assembly is positioned in the rabbet with the compressible portion of the spacer assembly extending into the channel in the wall to couple the spacer assembly to the annular display frame. The spacer assembly may also be in contact with the stack to hold the stack in the rabbet.

Abstract: An open record album frame for displaying and storing album covers or a phonograph record. The frame comprises parallel upper and lower holding means secured to the base member. Each of the upper and lower holding means is elongated in the form of a crossbar with a groove extends the full length on the inner side thereof. The frame also has a bore disposed on the center of the base member to receive a mounting post that holds a phonograph record on the frame. The frame allows for convenient insertion and removal of album covers by simply inserting the album into the upper holding means. A ledge is constructed in the lower holding means to support the album. To display a phonograph record, a detachable mounting post can be secured into the bore of the base member.

The elongated base rail and elongated cover rail can be oriented in a parallel relationship when closed for capturing a display panel or a perpendicular relationship when open for inserting or removing a display panel.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a digital photo frame including: a control module; a display panel electrically connected to the control module and displaying an image; a first front frame having a first and a second surfaces; and a plurality of swing fasteners mounted on the second surface. Each of the swing fasteners is composed of a first arm and a pivot connecting thereto. The first arm pushes against the display panel when the display panel is attached to the front frame. At least one of the swing fasteners has a second arm and a hollow portion thereon, and the digital photo frame is hung on a support by the hollow portion. The design of swing fastener makes the interchangeability of different front frames possible, and the replaced front frame can be wedged in another size-suitable display panel or form a traditional photo frame with a photograph and a rear board.

Abstract: In an image display device, the number of parts is reduced through simplification of fixing members for use in fitting a display panel to a front frame. Design of the device is improved by thinning the front upper side of the front frame and by getting fixing members out of sight on the back upper side thereof. The front frame has hooks, which are produced integrally with the front frame, on its upper back so as to position the display panel. The upper side of the front frame is not screwed. Instead, the hooks so act as to prevent the display panel from falling off the front frame. A back cover has ribs, which are produced integrally with the back cover, in its portion facing the hook. The ribs so act as to prevent the hook from moving beyond predetermined distance, thereby ensuring the positioning of the display panel.

Abstract: A snap-in frame arrangement for an organizer component system is disclosed. At least one of a locking nib is disposed within an organizer/component image receiving area of the organizer system. The locking nib has an under-cut to aid in the removal of a snap-in frame from an organizer/component image receiving area by allowing the use of a finger tip or finger nail to catch the edge of the snap-in frame and lift it out. During the lifting out process the snap-in frame bends (flexes) slightly around each locking nib and allows the snap-in frame to be removed.

Abstract: A sign system having components promoting ease of construction and readily accomplished changeout. Unique geometrically configured top and bottom support channels and other related components readily accommodate and capture the top and bottom edges of electronic display panels. Top and bottom shrouds attach automatically to the unique geometrically configured top and bottom support channels and include weatherstrip seals which automatically seal against the upper and lower regions of the electronic display panels. Abstract: A mounting and framing apparatus and system are disclosed in which displayed items such as graphics, photographs, mattes, paintings or the like are positioned between multiple transparent plates of glass or plastic to impart a sense of depth thereto, clamping bars apply a compressive force to the transparent plates for holding the displayed items in place, and decorative members are provided for adding aesthetic appeal.

Abstract: A snap frame assembly for engagably supporting a one or double sided planar display panel, comprising an elongated extruded carrier frame having an elongated housing with a central opening therein, an elongated extruded front plate slidably mounted on an elongated rigid member extending from the housing, and an elongated pivotable member flexibly attached to the housing by an elongated commonly extruded hinge. The front plate has an upper channel member which rotatively pivots on an arm extending from the housing and has a lower channel member which pivots together with a curved housing plate which comprises a portion of the housing of the carrier frame.

Abstract: A picture frame turn button has a base plate with at least one fastener for attaching the base plate securely to a picture frame back. Pivotably mounted to the base plate is a latch plate with an arm and a tongue portion opposite of each other. The latch plate may be pivoted about base plate between an engaged state, where the picture frame back is locked closed, and a disengaged state, where the picture frame back may be removed to replace a picture sandwiched between the picture frame and picture frame back.
