Can protector

This is a system that can attach to a beverage drink. The Can Protector can be attached by the stretchable band that goes around the can. It can expand to slide down 2 inches onto the can and then contracts to grip the can and can be made to fit to any diameter of can and then contracts to grip the can and can be made to fit to any diameter of any can. The Can Protector has a small hole for straw uses. First open the beverage can, and then slide the Can Protector onto the beverage can while matching up the hole from the beverage can to the straw hole on the Can Protector. The Can Protector can be designed to be reused or disposable. It can be made in variety of sizes for different size cans and is easy to place on to the can in seconds.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a system for a beverage can to prevent spills, keep out any insects, and/or outdoor debris for example, dirt, sand, grass etc.

2. Description of the Prior Act

The current submitted invention provides a system that attaches to a beverage drink. The Can Protector is made out of a light weight plastic and rubber, durable material. The top made out plastic and the side made out rubber stretchable band. This device can be attached by the stretchable band that goes around the can. It can expand to slide down 2 inches onto the can and then contracts to grip the can and can be made to fit to any diameter of can. The Can Protector has a small hole for straw uses. Before using the Can Protector, first open your beverage can and slide the Can Protector onto it while matching up the hole from your beverage can to the straw hole on the Can Protector. The Can Protector can be designed to be reused or disposable. It also can be made in variety of sizes for different size cans and is easy to place on to your can in seconds.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This invention can be summarized as the following three everyday common examples: on a hot summer day you find yourself at a picnic and your feeling thirsty. So you grab a beverage can and drink just a little bit and sit it down on the table for a minutes. When you return to your beverage, there are insects all around the opening of the can. Also, your at the beach and you have a soda can placed on a blanket. The wind is heavy on the beach and blows some sand into your drink. Now you're in your vehicle and you're thirsty. You're trying to drink your beverage and drive at the same time but it's just not working. The can is getting in your way of traffic by tilting the can to drink. You might also hit the breaks hard, for some reason, and the beverage goes everywhere in your vehicle. By using the Can Protector with added straw hole for quick usage, all these examples can be solved quickly with out any hassle and without any mess.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENT

FIG. 1 is a general plan view of the Can Protector. FIG. 2 is a section cut side view of the Can Protector. FIG. 3 consists of rendered views showing the Can Protector in place and in use. The scope of this invention should not be constructed as limited to the specific embodiment depicted and described.

Claims

1. A protection for all cans

a. Light weight plastic and rubber durable protector. It can be attached by the stretchable band that goes around the top and upper side of a beverage can.
b. Said Protector expands to slide down onto the top of the beverage can. It contracts to grip the side walls of the can.
c. Said Protector has a drinking hole to place a straw in if desired. The opening of the drinking device is set on top of where the can opens.

2. The protector is set forth in claim # 1 to prevent any spills.

3. The protector is set forth in claim #1 to keep out insects from getting into the beverage can.

4. The protector is set forth in claim # 1 to keep out any kind of debris.
