BOTTLE FLIP SUPPORT

Abstract

Disclosed herein is a bottle flip support including a support base with a top surface and a bottom surface. The bottom surface is configured to be put on a support ground. At least one cavity is disposed on the top surface of the support base to support a flipped bottle. The cavity includes a shoulder cavity configured to hold a shoulder portion of the flipped bottle and a lip cavity configured to accommodate a lip portion of the flipped bottle.

BACKGROUND

1. Field of The Disclosure

The disclosure relates to a bottle holding device.

2. Description of Related Art

When a beverage or other liquid or solid food stored in a bottle is half used, it is hard to preserve the unused beverage or food in a fresh condition for a long time. For example, a bottle of soda drink will taste like an uncarbonated drink after the bottle has been opened for two or three days. Taking a bottle of sauce as another example, the sauce would not taste as fresh as sauce in the new-opened bottle after the bottle containing sauce has been opened for an extended period of time. Therefore, there is a need for everyone to preserve unused beverage or food in a fresh condition for a longer period after the bottle has been opened.

SUMMARY

In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, a bottle flip support includes a support base with a top surface and a bottom surface. The bottom surface is configured to be put on a support ground. At least one cavity is disposed on the top surface of the support base to support a flipped bottle. The cavity includes a shoulder cavity configured to hold a shoulder portion of the flipped bottle and a lip cavity configured to accommodate a lip portion of the flipped bottle.

In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, a bottle flip support includes a support base with a top surface and a bottom surface. The bottom surface is configured to be put on a support ground. At least one cavity is disposed on the top surface of the support base to support a flipped bottle. The cavity includes a shoulder cavity configured to hold a shoulder portion of the flipped bottle and a lip thread configured to be screwed by a lip portion of the flipped bottle.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

Reference will now be made in detail to the present embodiments of the invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers are used in the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.

Disclosed herein is a bottle flip support for holding a flipped bottle such that gas within the bottle can be gathered at a body portion of the flipped bottle, rather than at a lip portion of the flipped bottle. Gas hardly goes into or out of the flipped bottle such that the unused beverage or food can be preserved in a fresh condition for an even longer period.

FIG. 1 illustrates a side view of a support base holding a flipped bottle according to one embodiment of this invention. The bottle flip support has a support base 100 for firmly holding a flipped bottle 102. The support base 100 has a cavity on a top surface 100d thereof. The cavity has a shoulder cavity 100a and a lip cavity 100b. The shoulder cavity 100a is configured to support a shoulder portion 102b of the bottle 102. The lip cavity 100b is configured to accommodate a lip portion 102a, where a cap is screwed onto, and/or a neck portion of the bottle 102. When the bottle 102 is flipped, gas within the bottle (not illustrated in the drawings) is gathered at a body portion 102c of the flipped bottle 102, rather than at a lip portion 102a of the flipped bottle 102. Gas hardly goes into or out of the flipped bottle 102 such that the unused beverage or liquid or solid food (such as salt or sugar) can be preserved in a fresh condition for a longer period. The cavity of the support base 100 can be designed according to a desired bottle size. In this embodiment, the top surface 100d has a larger area than a cross-section area of a body portion 102c of the flipped bottle 102. Besides, a top rim section 100c of the cavity defines a hollow area substantially equal to a cross-section area of a body portion 102c of the flipped bottle 102.

FIG. 1A illustrates a side view of a bottle flip support according to another embodiment of this invention. This embodiment is slightly different from the embodiment of FIG. 1 in that the lip cavity is equipped with a thread 100b′ to screw onto the lip portion of a bottle on behalf of a cap. When this bottle flip support is used, the bottle's lip portion needs to be screwed by the support base 100 first and then flipped together using the support base 100 to hold the flipped bottle.

FIG. 2 illustrates a side view of a bottle flip support with multiple cavities according to still another embodiment of this invention. The bottle flip support 200 is equipped with multiple cavities 200a to permit multiple flipped bottles to be inserted into. Cavities 200 can be of different sizes, for example, one cavity 200a is for holding a large plastic bottle (such as 2500 ml bottle) while the other cavity 200a is for holding a small plastic bottle (such as 1500 ml bottle).

FIG. 3A illustrates a bottom view of a bottle flip support according to one embodiment of this invention. In order to stably position a flipped bottle on a support ground, a bottom surface 100e of a square support base 100′ may be equipped with multiple positioning legs 104. Four positioning legs 104 are slidably connected with rails on the bottom surface 100e to selectively stick out of a lateral surface 100f or not stick out of the lateral surface 100f When all positioning legs 104 stick out of the lateral surface 100f, the square support base 100′ would stably stand on the support ground by the bottom surface 100e. When all positioning legs 104 do not stick out of the lateral surface 100f, the square support base 100′ is of smaller size for easy storage or portability.

FIG. 3B illustrates a bottom view of a bottle flip support according to another embodiment of this invention. In order to stably position a flipped bottle on a support ground, a bottom surface 100e of a circular support base 100″ may be equipped with multiple positioning legs 106. Three positioning legs 104 are slidably connected with rails on the bottom surface 100e to selectively stick out of a lateral surface 100g or not stick out of the lateral surface 100g. When all positioning legs 106 stick out of the lateral surface 100g, the square support base 100″ would stably stand on a support ground by the bottom surface 100e. When all positioning legs 106 do not stick out of the lateral surface 100g, the square support base 100″ is of smaller size for easy storage or portability.

The above-mentioned support base can be made from a plastic or metallic material. Although only a square or circular support base is illustrated in discussed embodiments, the support base can be of rectangular shape or other multi-sided figures. At least three positioning legs are used to firmly position the support base and prevent it is from falling.

According to the discussed embodiments, a bottle flip support is able to hold a flipped bottle, thereby gathering gas at a body portion of the flipped bottle and preventing gas from easily going into or out of the flipped bottle such that the unused beverage or liquid or solid food can be preserved in a fresh condition for a longer period.

It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made to the structure of the present invention without departing from the scope or spirit of the invention. In view of the foregoing, it is intended that the present invention cover modifications and variations of this invention provided they fall within the scope of the following claims and their equivalents.

Claims

1. A bottle flip support comprising:

a support base comprising a top surface and a bottom surface, the bottom surface configured to be put on a support ground; and

at least one cavity disposed on the top surface of the support base to support a flipped bottle, the cavity comprising: a shoulder cavity configured to hold a shoulder portion of the flipped bottle; and a lip cavity configured to accommodate a lip portion of the flipped bottle.

2. The bottle flip support of claim 1, wherein the top surface has a larger area than a cross-section area of a body portion Of the flipped bottle.

3. The bottle flip support of claim 1, further comprising:

at least three positioning legs slidably connected with the bottom surface of the support base.

4. The bottle flip support of claim 1, wherein the cavity comprises a top rim section defining a hollow area substantially equal to a cross-section area of a body portion of the flipped bottle.

5. The bottle flip support of claim 1, wherein the support base is made from a plastic material.

6. The bottle flip support of claim 1, wherein the support base is made from a metallic material.

7. A bottle flip support comprising:

a support base comprising a top surface and a bottom surface, the bottom surface configured to be put on a support ground; and

at least one cavity disposed on the top surface of the support base to support a flipped bottle, the cavity comprising: a shoulder cavity configured to hold a shoulder portion of the flipped bottle; and a lip thread configured to be screwed by a lip portion of the flipped bottle.

8. The bottle flip support of claim 7, wherein the top surface has a larger area than a cross-section area of a body portion of the flipped bottle.

9. The bottle flip support of claim 7, further comprising:

at least three positioning legs slidably connected with the bottom surface of the support base.

10. The bottle flip support of claim 7, wherein the cavity comprises a top rim section defining a hollow area substantially equal to a cross-section area of a body portion of the flipped bottle.

11. The bottle flip support of claim 7, wherein the support base is made from a plastic material.

12. The bottle flip support of claim 7, wherein the support base is made from a metallic material.
