Bath Curtain Rack

Abstract

A bath curtain rack includes a wall seat, a protective lid, and at least one support rack. The wall seat includes a base and at least one socket. The base is formed with locking holes for insertion of screws to secure the wall seat on a wall. The protective lid is formed with a through hole for insertion of the socket. The protective lid is adapted to cover the base with engaging blocks to engage with engaging notches formed at two side flanges of the base. The support rack is bent into an arch bridge shape or an arch shape. Both ends of the support rack are inserted in relative sockets with bolts to tighten the support rack. The present invention provides a larger space when in use.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a bath curtain rack, and more particularly to one having a support rack in an arch bridge shape or in an arc shape, and both ends of the support rack are inserted in relative sockets with bolts to tighten the support rack, providing a larger space when in use.

2. Description of the Prior Art

A conventional bath curtain rack comprises a horizontal rod mounted on a wall above a bathtub. A curtain hanged on the rod is pulled or pushed transversely to prevent water from splashing out or to avoid an awkward situation. The conventional bath curtain is designed corresponding in size to the bathtub. When in use, the user may touch the bath curtain unwittingly because the space is not enough. The user will feel uncomfortable with the surrounding. Sometimes, the bath curtain may be pulled away carelessly. The function of the conventional bath curtain rack is to hang the bath curtain only, without additional purposes. Generally, there is a rack mounted on the wall outside the bath curtain rack for hanging a towel, a bath towel or dry clothing. The user has to push away the bath curtain for taking a towel, or a bath towel. This is not convenient.

Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to solve this problem.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

According to the present invention, there is provided a bath curtain rack, comprising:

two wall seats each comprising a base and at least one socket, the base being formed with a pair of locking holes at two sides thereof and a pair of engaging notches at two side flanges thereof, one side of the socket being formed with a threaded hole;

two protective lids each formed with at least a through hole corresponding in position to the socket and a pair of engaging blocks protruding from two side edges thereof;

at least one support rack made of a plastic hard material, the support rack having a shape which is changeable corresponding in shape to the wall seat;

thereby, the two wall seats being fixed on two walls with screws, the protective lids covering the bases of the two wall seats with the engaging blocks to engage with the engaging notches, the support rack being bent into an arch bridge shape or an arc shape, and two ends of the support rack being inserted in respective sockets, a bolt being screwed into the threaded hole to tighten the support rack.

Preferably, the socket is in the form of a straight socket or an oblique socket.

Preferably, the support rack is a steel bar.

Preferably, the support rack is bent into an arch bridge shape for the straight socket.

Alternatively, the support rack is bent into an arc shape for the oblique socket.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, 2-A, 2-B, 3-A, 4-A, 4-B, the present invention comprises a wall seat 2, a protective lid 3, and a support rack 4.

The wall seat 2 comprises a base 21 and a straight socket or an oblique socket 22. The base 21 is formed with a pair of locking holes 211 at two sides thereof for insertion of screws and a pair of engaging notches 212 at two side flanges thereof. One side of the socket 22 is formed with a threaded hole 221 for insertion of a bolt 222 to tighten one end of the support rack 4.

The protective lid 3 is formed with at least a through hole 31 for insertion of the socket 22 of the wall seat 2 and a pair of engaging blocks 32 protruding from two side edges thereof. The engaging blocks 32 are adapted to engage with the engaging notches 212 so that the base 21 is covered with the protective lid 3.

The support rack 4 is made of a plastic hard material, such as a steel bar. The support rack 4 may be in a different shape, according to the shape of the wall seat 2. The support rack 4 may be in an arch bridge shape applied to the straight socket 22, or in an arc shape applied to the oblique socket 22. Accordingly, the present invention provides a fast connection and a flexible allocation, which is convenient in use.

Referring to FIGS. 4-A, 4-B, 5-A, 5-B, and 6, both ends of the support rack 2 are inserted in two wall seats 2. The base 21 is fixed on the wall with screws inserting through the locking holes 211. The socket 22 is inserted through the through hole 31 of the protective lid 3. The protective lid 3 is coupled to the base 21 with the engaging blocks 32 to engage with the engaging notches 212. The support rack 4 is bent into an arch bridge shape or an arch shape, and the two ends of the support rack 4 are inserted in the straight sockets or the oblique sockets 22. The bolt 222 is screwed into the threaded hole 221 to tighten the support rack 4. A bath curtain A is hanged on the support rack 4 and slides thereon. The present invention provides a larger space when in use.

FIGS. 7 and 8 show a third embodiment of the present invention. The base 21 of the wall seat 2 extends towards one side thereof. The base 21 is formed with two straight sockets or two oblique sockets 22 and locking holes 211 thereon. The protective lid 3 corresponds in shape to the base 21 to cover the base 21. Two support racks 4 are bent into an arch bridge shape or an arch shape, and the two ends of each support rack 4 are inserted in respective straight sockets or the oblique sockets 22. The bolts 222 are screwed into the threaded holes 221 to tighten the support racks 4. Therefore, a dual rack is completed for hanging the bath curtain A, a towel B, a bath towel and the like.

Accordingly, the present invention provides a quick connection of a bath curtain rack, a larger space when in use, and an additional function to hang a towel, a bath towel or the like.

Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A bath curtain rack, comprising:

two wall seats each comprising a base and at least one socket, the base being formed with a pair of locking holes at two sides thereof and a pair of engaging notches at two side flanges thereof, one side of the socket being formed with a threaded hole;

two protective lids each formed with at least a through hole corresponding in position to the socket and a pair of engaging blocks protruding from two side edges thereof;

at least one support rack made of a plastic hard material, the support rack having a shape which is changeable corresponding in shape to the wall seat;

thereby, the two wall seats being fixed on two walls with screws, the protective lids covering the bases of the two wall seats with the engaging blocks to engage with the engaging notches, the support rack being bent into an arch bridge shape or an arc shape, and two ends of the support rack being inserted in respective sockets, a bolt being screwed into the threaded hole to tighten the support rack.

2. The bath curtain rack as claim in claim 1, wherein the socket is in the form of a straight socket or an oblique socket.

3. The bath curtain rack as claim in claim 1, wherein the support rack is a steel bar.

4. The bath curtain rack as claim in claim 2, wherein the support rack is bent into an arch bridge shape for the straight socket.

5. The bath curtain rack as claim in claim 2, wherein the support rack is bent into an arc shape for the oblique socket.
