GRIP GRASPING SUPPORT DEVICE OF A GOLF CLUB

Disclosed is a grip grasping support device of a golf club for supporting at least one finger which grasps a grip to be contacted tightly with the grip from a hand grasping a grip of a golf club, comprising: a first and second ring-shaped members which are fitted to the grip of a golf club and separated at predetermined distance; and a band member to one end of which the first ring-shaped member is fixed and the other end of which is fitted into the second ring-shaped member to be arranged overlapping toward the one end side, and on which Velcro cloths are arranged respectively on surfaces of parts located between the one end and the second ring-shaped member and between the other end and the second ring-shaped member, facing each other.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a grip grasping support device of a golf club through which at least one finger of a hand grasping a grip of a golf club is tightly supported to the grip, thereby enabling stable swing.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Generally, when a grip of a golf club is grasped for preparing a golf swing, in case of a right hander a left thumb is placed first in a straight of a grip lengthwise and rest fingers of left hand grasps the grip, and then a right palm is overlapped over the left thumb.

A swing is performed in a state of a grip being grasped, and at this time excess force is usually applied to hands for slippage being avoided, causing swing accuracy to be decreased and further mis-shot to be occurred.

This phenomenon often happens to a beginner or middle class golfer. Even to high class golfer he/she wants to adjust a grasping force of his/her hand for a soft swing, however, there may be a probability of grip slippage so that grasping force is excessively increased in order to avoid the grip slippage, causing a swing accuracy to be decreased and flight distance to be shortened.

Accordingly, there exists a need that the fingers grasping a grip of a golf club is supported tightly to the grip in order for slippage to be avoided so that excessive force applied to hand can be avoided and thus soft swing can be performed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention has been proposed in view of aforementioned point, and the object of the present invention relates to provide a grip grasping support device of a golf club in which at least one finger of a hand grasping a grip of a golf club is tightly supported to the grip, thereby enabling stable swing.

In order to achieve the aforementioned object, a grip grasping support device of a golf club according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first and second ring-shaped members which are fitted to the grip of a golf club and separated at predetermined distance; and a band member to one end of which the first ring-shaped member is fixed and the other end of which is fitted into the second ring-shaped member to be arranged overlapping toward the one end side, and on which Velcro cloths are arranged respectively on surfaces of parts located between the one end and the second ring-shaped member and between the other end and the second ring-shaped member, facing each other.

Furthermore, in order to achieve the aforementioned object, a grip grasping support device of a golf club according to another embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first and second ring-shaped members which are fitted into a grip of a golf club and separated at predetermined distance; a ring member to one side of which the second ring-shaped member is fixed through a connection member and to other side of which the band member 13 fitted; and a band member to one end of which first ring-shaped member is fixed and the other end of which is fitted into the ring member to be arranged overlapping toward the one end side, and on which Velcro cloths are arranged respectively on surfaces of parts located between the one end and the ring member and between the other end and the ring member, facing each other.

Here, the first and second ring-shaped members may be made of one selected from clothing material, metal, natural gut and synthetic gut.

Additionally, the clothing material may be mono filament type of one thick fiber, or multi filament type of many plural fine fibers, or fixed filament type made of cloth material multi filament surrounding a core of clothing material mono filament.

Meanwhile, the first and second ring-shaped members may be made of a core of mono filament or multi filament of metal material being coated with synthetic resin, natural gut, synthetic gut or multi filament of clothing material.

The band member and the connection member may be made of one selected from natural rubber, synthetic rubber and clothing material, and the ring member may be made of one selected from metal and high strength plastic material.

Furthermore, in order to achieve aforementioned object, a grip grasping support device of a golf club according to another embodiment of the present invention comprises: a third and fourth ring-shaped members which are being fitted into a grip of a golf club and separated at predetermined distance; and a ring-integrated band member to one end of which the third ring-shaped member is cast-formed and the other end of which is fitted into a multi step connection ring part of the fourth ring-shaped member to be arranged overlapping toward the one end side, and on which Velcro tape are arranged respectively on upper part located between the one end and the fourth ring shaped-member and on lower part located between the other end and fourth ring shaped-member, facing each other.

A multi step connection ring part is formed on upper part of the fourth ring-shaped member toward the third ring-shaped member, and further a plural of fitting grooves are formed on the multi step connection ring part so that a height of the ring integrated band member can be adjusted and fitted thereto.

A distance between the third and fourth ring-shaped members may be adjusted depending on a length of a collapsible part which is formed on a middle part of the ring integrated band member, and further Velcro tapes are connected to surfaces facing with one end and the other end of the ring integrated band member of both sides of the collapsible part.

Vertical surfaces are formed on the respective upper side of the third and fourth ring-shaped member for finger contact area to be large and further horizontal surfaces are formed on the respective lower side of the third and fourth ring-shaped member for grip supporting area to be large.

According to the present invention as configured aforementioned, at least one finger which grasps a grip among a hand grasping a grip is supported efficiently to the grip, and thus excess force applied to hand for avoiding slippage of a grip can be avoided when swing is performed so that swing accuracy and flight distance can be improved. As a result, accurate and powerful shot can be performed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Hereinafter, the constitution and the operation of a finger tightening device for grasping a golf club according to preferred embodiments of the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings FIGS. 1 to 9.

Prior to proceeding to the more detailed description of the preferred embodiment according to the present invention, it should be noted that, for the sake of clarity and understanding of the invention identical components which have identical functions have been identified with identical reference numerals throughout the different views which are illustrated in each of the attached drawing Figures.

The present invention has been proposed based on an idea that since middle finger, ring finger and little finger grasping a grip of a golf club become a middle axes when back swing, down swing and impact are performed, at least one finger among them (preferably, binding three fingers of the middle finger, ring finger and little finger) is supported tightly and thus firm and stable middle axes can be provided.

Here, FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an assembled finger tightening device for grasping a golf club according to a first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the finger tightening device for grasping a golf club according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a view of the finger tightening device for grasping a golf club in a state of being used, in which ring members of the finger tightening device are fitted into a grip of a golf club and middle finger, ring finger and little finger are fitted between a grip and a band member for grasping the grip, according to a first embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in the aforementioned drawings, the finger tightening device for grasping a grip of a golf club according to the present invention is configured such that referring to hand which grasps first a grip of a golf club (for example, in case of a right hander, left hand, and in case of left hander, right hand), at least one finger grasping a grip (three fingers, that is, middle finger, ring finger and little finger, as shown in FIG. 3) is tightly contacted with the grip.

Here, according to the specification and drawings of the present invention, though a band member 13 ties three fingers (that is, middle finger, ring finger and little finger) and grasps tightly a grip, the band member may tie two fingers (that is, middle finger and ring finger, or ring finger and little finger), or one finger (that is, middle finger, ring finger or little finger) for grasping tightly a grip of a golf club). For latter configuration, length of the band member may be shortened or not-fixed end of the band member is further pulled to be tightened. Hereinafter, for a clarity of description, a case of a band member for tying three fingers (that is, middle finger, ring finger and little finger) to grasp tightly a grip being described.

A grip grasping support device 10 according to a first embodiment of the present invention is proposed for supporting at least one finger which grasps a grip to be contacted tightly with the grip, referring to a hand which grasps first a grip of a golf club, and comprises: a first and second ring-shaped members 11, 12 which are being fitted into a grip 20 of a golf club and separated at predetermined distance; and a band member 13 to one end of which the first ring-shaped member 11 is fixed and the other end of which is fitted into the second ring-shaped member 12 to be arranged overlapping toward the one end side, and on which Velcro cloths 13A, 13B are arranged respectively on surfaces of parts located between the one end and the second ring-shaped member 12 and between the other end and the second ring-shaped member 12, facing each other.

Here, the band member 13 may be made of natural rubber, synthetic rubber or cloth.

Referring to the band member 13, the end part toward the first ring-shaped member 11 is folded to form a space (that is, hole) into which the first ring-shaped member 11 is fitted and folded part is sewn or bonded with a bonding agent for the fist ring-shaped member 11 not to be separated from the band member 13.

Furthermore, the band member 13 is fitted to the second ring-shaped member 12 so that the second ring-shaped member 13 is movable between one end of the band member 13 and the other end thereof.

Meanwhile, diameters of the ring-shaped member 11, 12 may be larger than that of a grip 20 so that the ring-shaped members 11, 12 may be fitted into and separated from easily the grip 20.

Additionally, the ring shaped-members 11, 12 may be formed as a shape of a ring through a straight line being connected to the connection members 11A, 12A, as shown in FIG. 2.

Meanwhile, the first and second ring-shaped members 11, 12 may be made of clothing material, metal, natural gut or synthetic gut. Here, clothing material may be mono filament type of one thick fiber, or multi filament type of many plural fine fibers, or fixed filament type made of cloth material multi filament surrounding a core of clothing material mono filament.

In addition, the ring-shaped members 11, 12 may be made such that a core of mono filament of metal material or multi filament of metal material is coated with synthetic resin, natural gut, synthetic gut or multi filament of clothing material.

Referring to an operation of the present invention, the ring-shaped members 11, 12 of the grip grasping support device 10 according to a first embodiment of the present invention, as configured in an aforementioned way, are fitted on the grip 20 and middle finger, ring finger and little finger of hand (left hand in case of right hander, and right hand in case of left hander) of hand grasping first the grip 20 are fitted between the grip 20 and the band member 13 to grasp the grip 20, not-fixed end of the band member 13 is pulled for Velcro cloths 13A, 13B of the band member 13 are bonded each other and thus middle finger, ring finger and little finger are suppressed and supported by the band member 13. Through this operation, middle finger, ring finger and little finger which grasp the grip 20 are contacted tightly with and supported efficiently from the grip. Therefore, excess force applied to hand for avoiding slippage of a grip can be avoided when swing is performed so that swing accuracy can be improved to perform good shot and further flight distance can be improved.

Meanwhile, FIG. 4 is a perspective view of an assembled finger tightening device for grasping a golf club according to second embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 5 is an exploded perspective view of the finger tightening device for grasping a golf club according to second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 6 is a view of the finger tightening device for grasping a golf club in a state of being used, in which ring members of the finger tightening device are fitted into a grip of a golf club and middle finger, ring finger and little finger are fitted between a grip and a band member for grasping the grip, according to a second embodiment of the present invention.

A grip grasping support device 10A according to a second embodiment of the present invention is proposed for supporting at least one finger which grasps a grip to be contacted tightly with the grip, referring to a hand which grasps first a grip of a golf club, and comprises: a first and second ring-shaped members 11, 12 which are fitted into a grip 20 of a golf club and separated at predetermined distance; a ring member 15 to one side of which the second ring-shaped member 12 is fixed through a connection member 14 and to other side of which the band member 13 is fitted movably; and a band member 13 to one end of which first ring-shaped member 11 is fixed and the other end of which is fitted into the ring member 15 to be arranged overlapping toward the one end side, and on which Velcro cloths 13A, 13B are arranged respectively on surfaces of parts located between the one end and the ring member 15 and between the other end and the ring member 15, facing each other.

Here, the band member 13 and the connection member 14 may be made of natural rubber, synthetic rubber or cloth.

Referring to the band member 13, the end part toward the first ring-shaped member 11 is folded to form a space (that is, hole) into which the first ring-shaped member 11 is fitted and folded part is sewn or bonded with a bonding agent for the fist ring-shaped member 11 not to be separated from the band member 13. Additionally, the connection member 14 is sewn or bonded with a bonding agent to form a space (that is, hole) into which the second ring-shaped member 12 and the ring member 14 are fitted so that the second ring-shaped member 12 and the ring member 14 are to be connected thereto.

Meanwhile, diameters of the ring-shaped member 11, 12 may be larger than that of a grip 20 so that the ring-shaped members 11, 12 may be fitted into and separated from easily the grip 20.

Additionally, the ring shaped-members 11, 12 may be formed as a shape of a ring through a straight line being connected to the connection members 11A, 12A, as shown in FIG. 5.

Meanwhile, the first and second ring-shaped members 11, 12 may be made of the same material as the first embodiment of the present invention and further the ring member 15 may be made of metal or high strength plastic material.

Referring to an operation of the grip grasping support device 10A according to the second embodiment of present invention, the ring-shaped members 11, 12 are fitted on the grip 20 and middle finger, ring finger and little finger of hand (left hand in case of right hander, and right hand in case of left hander) of hand grasping first the grip 20 are fitted between the grip 20 and the band member 13 to grasp the grip 20, not-fixed end of the band member 13 is pulled for Velcro cloths 13A, 13B of the band member 13 are bonded each other and thus middle finger, ring finger and little finger are suppressed and supported by the band member 13. Through this operation, middle finger, ring finger and little finger which grasp the grip 20 are contacted tightly with and supported efficiently from the grip. Therefore, excess force applied to hand for avoiding slippage of a grip can be avoided when swing is performed so that swing accuracy can be improved to perform good shot and further flight distance can be improved.

Meanwhile, FIG. 7 is a view of a finger tightening device for grasping a golf club according to a third embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 8 is a side view of a finger tightening device for grasping a golf club as shown in FIG. 7 viewed from A side, according to a third embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 9 is a view of a finger tightening device for grasping a golf club in a state of being used, using the grip grasping device of a golf club according to the third embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in FIGS. 7-9, a grip grasping support device 30 according to a third embodiment of the present invention is proposed for supporting at least one finger which grasps a grip to be contacted tightly with the grip, referring to a hand which grasps first a grip of a golf club. The grip grasping support device 30 comprises: a third and fourth ring-shaped members 31, 32 which are being fitted into a grip 20 of a golf club and separated at predetermined distance; and a ring-integrated band member 33 to one end of which the third ring-shaped member 31 is cast and formed and the other end of which is fitted into a multi step connection ring part 32A of the fourth ring-shaped member 32 to be arranged overlapping toward the one end side, and on which Velcro tape 33A, 33B are arranged respectively on upper part located between the one end and the fourth ring shaped-member 32 and on lower part located between the other end and fourth ring shaped-member 32, facing each other.

Here, the multi step connection ring part 32A is formed on upper part of the fourth ring-shaped member 32 toward the third ring-shaped member 31. Furthermore, a plural fitting grooves 32B are formed on the multi step connection ring part 32A so that a height of the ring integrated band member 33 can be adjusted and fitted thereto.

Furthermore, since the plural fitting grooves 32B are formed on the multi step connection ring part 32A which is formed on the upper part of the fourth ring-shaped member 32, the fitting groove 32B may be selected and the other end of the ring integrated band member 33 may be fitted depending on golfer's hand size, and thus grip feeling can be improved regardless of hand size of a golfer.

Additionally, a distance between the third and fourth ring-shaped members 31, 32 may be adjusted depending on a length of a collapsible part 33C which is formed on a middle part of the ring integrated band member 33. Here, the Velcro tape 33A, 33B are connected to surfaces facing with one end and the other end of the ring integrated band member 33 of both sides of the collapsible part 33C.

Vertical surfaces 31a, 32a are formed on the respective upper side of the third and fourth ring-shaped member 31, 32 for finger contact area to be large and further horizontal surfaces 31b, 32b are formed on the respective lower side of the third and fourth ring-shaped member 31, 32 for grip supporting area to be large.

Meanwhile, diameters of the third and fourth ring-shaped member 31, 32 may be larger than that of a grip 20 so that the third and fourth ring-shaped members 31, 32 may be fitted into and separated from easily the grip 20.

The third ring-shaped ring member 31 is formed integrally from one end toward the other end of the ring integrated band member 33 and further the Velcro tape 33A is attached till the upper surface of one end protrusion part of the ring integrated band member 33.

Referring to an operation of the grip grasping support device 30 according to the third embodiment of present invention, the ring-shaped members 31, 32 are fitted on the grip 20 and middle finger, ring finger and little finger of hand (left hand in case of right hander, and right hand in case of left hander) of hand grasping first the grip 20 are fitted between the grip 20 and the ring integrated band member 33 to grasp the grip 20, not-fixed end of the ring integrated band member 33 is pulled for Velcro tapes 33A, 33B of the ring integrated band member 33 are bonded each other and thus middle finger, ring finger and little finger are suppressed and supported by the ring integrated band member 33. Through this operation, middle finger, ring finger and little finger which grasp the grip 20 are contacted tightly with and supported efficiently from the grip. Therefore, excess force applied to hand for avoiding slippage of a grip can be avoided when swing is performed so that swing accuracy can be improved to perform good shot and further flight distance can be improved.

While the invention has been described with reference to a preferred embodiment, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes may be made and equivalents may be substituted for elements thereof without departing from the scope of the invention. In addition, many modifications may be made to adapt a particular situation or material to the teachings of the invention without departing from the essential scope thereof. Therefore, it is intended that the invention not be limited to the particular embodiment disclosed as the best mode contemplated for carrying out this invention, but that the invention will include all embodiments falling within the scope of the appended claims.

Claims

1. A grip grasping support device of a golf club for supporting at least one finger which grasps a grip to be contacted tightly with the grip from a hand grasping a grip of a golf club, comprising:

a first and second ring-shaped members which are fitted to the grip of a golf club and separated at predetermined distance; and a band member to one end of which the first ring-shaped member is fixed and the other end of which is fitted into the second ring-shaped member to be arranged overlapping toward the one end side, and on which Velcro cloths are arranged respectively on surfaces of parts located between the one end and the second ring-shaped member and between the other end and the second ring-shaped member, facing each other.

2. A grip grasping support device of a golf club for supporting at least one finger which grasps a grip to be contacted tightly with the grip from a hand grasping a grip of a golf club, comprising:

a first and second ring-shaped members which are fitted into a grip of a golf club and separated at predetermined distance; a ring member to one side of which the second ring-shaped member is fixed through a connection member and to other side of which the band member 13 fitted; and a band member to one end of which first ring-shaped member is fixed and the other end of which is fitted into the ring member to be arranged overlapping toward the one end side, and on which Velcro cloths are arranged respectively on surfaces of parts located between the one end and the ring member and between the other end and the ring member, facing each other.

3. A grip grasping support device of a golf club according to claim 1, wherein the first and second ring-shaped members are made of one selected from clothing material, metal, natural gut and synthetic gut.

4. A grip grasping support device of a golf club according to claim 3, wherein the clothing material may be mono filament type of one thick fiber, or multi filament type of many plural fine fibers, or fixed filament type made of cloth material multi filament surrounding a core of clothing material mono filament.

5. A grip grasping support device of a golf club according to claim 1, wherein the ring-shaped members may be made of a core of mono filament or multi filament of metal material being coated with synthetic resin, natural gut, synthetic gut or multi filament of clothing material.

6. A grip grasping support device of a golf club according to claim 1, wherein the band member is made of one selected from natural rubber, synthetic rubber and clothing material.

7. A grip grasping support device of a golf club according to claim 2, wherein the connection member is made of one selected from natural rubber, synthetic rubber and clothing material.

8. A grip grasping support device of a golf club according to claim 2, wherein the ring member is made of one selected from metal and high strength plastic material.

9. A grip grasping support device of a golf club for supporting at least one finger which grasps a grip to be contacted tightly with the grip from a hand grasping a grip of a golf club, comprising:

a third and fourth ring-shaped members which are being fitted into a grip of a golf club and separated at predetermined distance; and a ring-integrated band member to one end of which the third ring-shaped member is cast-formed and the other end of which is fitted into a multi step connection ring part of the fourth ring-shaped member to be arranged overlapping toward the one end side, and on which Velcro tape are arranged respectively on upper part located between the one end and the fourth ring shaped-member and on lower part located between the other end and fourth ring shaped-member, facing each other.

A grip grasping support device of a golf club according to claim 9, wherein a multi step connection ring part is formed on upper part of the fourth ring-shaped member toward the third ring-shaped member, and further a plural of fitting grooves are formed on the multi step connection ring part so that a height of the ring integrated band member can be adjusted and fitted thereto.

11. A grip grasping support device of a golf club according to claim 9, wherein a distance between the third and fourth ring-shaped members may be adjusted depending on a length of a collapsible part which is formed on a middle part of the ring integrated band member, and further Velcro tapes are connected to surfaces facing with one end and the other end of the ring integrated band member of both sides of the collapsible part.

A grip grasping support device of a golf club according to claim 9, wherein vertical surfaces are formed on the respective upper side of the third and fourth ring-shaped member for finger contact area to be large and further horizontal surfaces are formed on the respective lower side of the third and fourth ring-shaped member for grip supporting area to be large.
