Abstract: A baseball grip training device is provided for use with a baseball bat, comprising a base adapted to contact a bat grip, wherein the base includes one or more shaped surfaces adapted to receive one or more of an index finger and a middle finger of a user; a retaining member extending from the base shaped to surround one or more of the index finger and the middle finger of the user; and a bat contacting surface adapted to contact the bat grip, wherein the bat contacting surface and the shaped surfaces are separated by a predetermined distance to lift the index finger and the middle finger of the user away from the bat grip sufficient to place greater reliance on the remaining fingers to hold the bat grip during a swing of the bat. The device is preferably constructed from a resilient material.

Abstract: Exercise gloves for an exercise machine including a glove assembly and an attachment assembly is disclosed. The glove assembly includes a first and second glove each having a top and bottom surface and a first and second end. The top surface is adapted to receive a hand of a user thereon. The gloves are attached together at the first end. At the second end there are a plurality of loops adapted to receive the fingers of a person therein, thereby securing the gloves to a person. Therebetween the gloves is a central tubing having at least one strap inserted therethrough each having at least one ring to attach to an exercise machine. The central tubing is secured with an inner portion. The user can secure their hands in the gloves while the gloves are attached to an exercise machine to execute various exercises to target muscles more efficiently.

Abstract: A method and system for improving the accuracy of putting a golf ball that includes a golf glove for use with a putter grip that has a straight edge, with the golf glove having a visual line alignment feature/illustration that allows a golfer to place his or her hand in a repeatable, proper position on the grip of the putter. The golf glove employed is devoid of any putter attachment feature, such as hook-and-loop fastener material on the glove or the golf grip and is further devoid of any indicia affixed to the back-hand portion of a glove that could be viewed as an alignment indicia, as it only complicates and confuses a golfer when putting.

Abstract: A weightlifting glove and hook assembly for supporting a weight while weight lifting includes a glove body that has a top end, a bottom end, a palm side, an outer surface and an inner surface. The device can include a main body defined by a perimeter sidewall and can include two openings defined through the body. The perimeter sidewall can have rounded end regions and flattened top and bottom regions and can be sized to accommodate two openings large enough to receive a user's fingers. The device can be used by inserting the index finger on one hand through the bottom opening and the little finger of the opposing hand through the upper opening. The user can then align the user's knuckles to the desired grip and grip the bat or club handle. The device can then assist the user in maintaining the proper grip of the bat or club handle while holding and swinging the bat or club.

Abstract: According to one aspect of the present invention, a method of improving a participant's ability to move an object toward a desired target through athletic movement is provided. The method comprises establishing a point of focus that is positioned outward from a participant's body. The method further comprises instructing the participant to continuously move the point of focus through one or more series of bodily movements within the field of vision of the participant. By shifting his or her emphasis on continuously moving the point of focus, the participant is able to improve focus and concentration, and eliminate the stress and anxiety associated with executing an athletic movement. The method also naturally triggers correct body mechanics, including the proper sequential release of the participant's joints.

Abstract: According to the various features characteristics and embodiments of the present invention which will become apparent as the description thereof proceeds, the present invention provides partially fingered gloves intended to increase the overall performance in sports activities including but limited to football and golf. Abstract: A golf training apparatus and method for maintaining proper position of a golfer's hands on the grip of a golf club during a swing. The apparatus is a strap assembly that wraps around the wrist of the upper hand and is secured to the shaft of the golf club just below the grip. A backswing loop secures the wrist to the top of the club grip. As the golfer swings the club, the apparatus maintains the hands in proper alignment resulting in proper swing mechanics that produce a straighter flight of the ball with reduced slice, draw or fade of the ball that may be imparted to the ball due to undesirable spin occurring throughout either the golfer's entire swing or a portion or thereof.

Abstract: An apparatus for improving a user's grip on a sports equipment handle is made of a single substantially resilient deformable planar sheet of non-slip material. The planar sheet has a narrower first end in which a finger hole is disposed, and a wider second cad. To use the apparatus, a user places the apparatus on a finger with the wider end oriented toward the finger tips. A handle is placed on the wider end, and rolled toward a user's palm, thereby securing the apparatus to the user's hand. The apparatus may be disengaged by simply relaxing the grip on the handle and allowing it to rotate out of the apparatus.
