A back bag/shoulder bag/handbag made by stitching a sheet material into shape, the sheet material having a transparent or translucent outer covering layer, an inner covering layer and a stuffing material selected from colored feather, down, polyfill, man-made fiber or combination of colored feather and down and stuffed in between the outer covering layer and the inner covering layer so that a person can see the color design of the stuffing material through the transparent or translucent material.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to bags and more particularly, to a back bag, shoulder bag or handbag made by stitching a sheet material into shape, wherein the sheet material has a transparent or translucent outer covering layer, an inner covering layer and a stuffing material stuffed in between the outer covering layer and the inner covering layer such that a person can see the color design of the stuffing material through the transparent or translucent outer covering layer.

2. Description of the Related Art

In our daily life, we may use a back bag 51 (see FIG. 1), a shoulder bag 52 (see FIG. 2) or a handbag 53 (see FIG. 3) to carry cell phone, personal digital assistant, digital camera, music player, memory stick, cosmetics, cream, mirror, comb, tissues or any of a variety of other personal items. These bags 51, 52 and 53 simply provide a storage function. They may be modified in shape to attract consumers. However, simply changing the shape of a bag cannot attract consumers' eyes effectively.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is therefore the main object of the present invention to provide a bag, which enables the color design of the stuffing material of feather, down, polyfill, man-made fiber or combination of feather and down of the bag body thereof the bag to be seen through the transparent outer covering layer of the bag body, causing a sense of beauty and providing a visual effect.

It is another of the present invention to provide a bag, which, in addition to the function of providing a receiving chamber for keeping things, provides a see-through design of the bag body thereof to attract consumers' eyes and to make consumers willing to buy the bag.

To achieve these and other objects of the present invention, a bag is made in the form of a back bag, shoulder bag or handbag, having a bag body that defines therein a receiving chamber defined therein, a zip fastener/enclosure means adapted to close/open an opening of the receiving chamber, and shoulder straps/handle means affixed to the bag body for carrying by a person. The bag body is made by stitching a sheet material into shape. The sheet material comprises an outer covering layer, an inner covering layer and a stuffing material stuffed in between the outer covering layer and the inner covering layer. The stuffing material can be feather, down, polyfill, man-made fiber or a combination of feather and down. The outer covering layer is transparent or translucent material so that a person to see the color design of the stuffing material of the bag body.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to FIGS. 4˜7, a back bag 1 in accordance with the present invention is shown comprising a bag body 10 made by means of stitching to show a predetermined configuration having a receiving chamber 100 defined therein (see FIG. 5), a zip fastener 13 or enclosure means (not shown) to close/open the opening of the receiving chamber 100, and shoulder straps 14 affixed to the bag body 10 for enabling the bag body 10 to be carried on the shoulders of a person.

The back bag 1 is characterized in that the bag body 10 is made by stitching a sheet material into shape. The sheet material for the bag body 10 comprises an outer covering layer 11, an inner covering layer 12 and a stuffing material stuffed in between the outer covering layer 11 and the inner covering layer 12. The stuffing material can be feather 21 (see FIG. 5), down 22, polyfill (not shown), man-made fiber (not shown) or combination of feather 21 and down 22. According to this embodiment, the stuffing material is a combination of feather 21 and down 22. The outer covering layer 11 can be a transparent or translucent material. The feather 21 and the down 22 are dyed into predetermined colors so that the color design of the stuffing material can be seen through the transparent or translucent outer covering layer 11. This totally new and interesting design of back bag attracts consumers' eyes and makes consumers willing to buy it.

Further, the outer covering layer 11 can be treated through a printing process, cire process or flocking process, showing a pattern that matches to the color design of the feather 21 and the down 22 to enhance the sense of beauty.

Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the outer covering layer 11 has a transparent or translucent waterproof breathable film 111 adhered to the inner surface thereof, prohibiting the down 22 (or fine fibers) of the stuffing material from protruding over the outer covering layer 11.

Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the inner covering layer 12 can be bonded with a layer of nonwoven fabric 122.

Further, the feather 21, down 22, polyfill, man-made fiber or combination of feather 21 and down 22 of the stuffing material can be dyed into one single color or different colors, providing a visual effect.

Further, the back bag 1 has side pockets 3 stitched to the outside wall of the bag body 10. Each side pocket 3 is made by stitching a sheet material into shape. The sheet material for each side pocket 3 comprises an outer covering layer 31, an inner covering layer 32 and a stuffing material stuffed in between the outer covering layer 31 and the inner covering layer 32. The stuffing material can be feather 41 (see FIG. 8), down 42, polyfill (not shown), man-made fiber (not shown) or combination of feather 41 and down 42. According to this embodiment, the stuffing material is a combination of feather 41 and down 42. The outer covering layer 31 can be a transparent or translucent material. The feather 41 and the down 42 are dyed into predetermined colors so that the color design of the stuffing material can be seen through the transparent or translucent outer covering layer 31.

Further, the outer covering layer 31 can be treated through a printing process, cire process or flocking process, showing a pattern that matches to the color design of the feather 41 and the down 42 to enhance the sense of beauty.

Further, as shown in FIG. 9, the outer covering layer 31 has a transparent or translucent waterproof breathable film 311 adhered to the inner surface thereof, prohibiting the down 42 (or fine fibers) of the stuffing material from protruding over the outer covering layer 11.

Further, as shown in FIG. 10, the inner covering layer 32 can be bonded with a layer of nonwoven fabric 322.

Further, the feather 41, down 42, polyfill, man-made fiber or combination of feather 41 and down 42 of the stuffing material can be dyed into one single color or different colors, providing a visual effect.

FIGS. 11 and 12 show a shoulder bag 1′ in accordance with the present invention. The shoulder bag 1′ comprises a bag body 10′ made by means of stitching to show a predetermined configuration having a receiving chamber 100′ defined therein (see FIG. 5), a zip fastener 13′ or enclosure means (not shown) to close/open the opening of the receiving chamber 100′, and a shoulder strap 14′ affixed to the bag body 10′ for enabling the bag body 10′ to be carried on one shoulder of a person.

The shoulder bag 1′ is characterized in that the bag body 10′ is made by stitching a sheet material into shape. The sheet material for the bag body 10′ comprises an outer covering layer 11′, an inner covering layer 12′ and a stuffing material stuffed in between the outer covering layer 11′ and the inner covering layer 12′. The stuffing material can be feather 21 (see FIG. 12), down 22, polyfill (not shown), man-made fiber (not shown) or combination of feather 21 and down 22. According to this embodiment, the stuffing material is a combination of feather 21 and down 22. The outer covering layer 11′ can be a transparent or translucent material. The feather 21 and the down 22 are dyed into predetermined colors so that the color design of the stuffing material can be seen through the transparent or translucent outer covering layer 11′. This totally new and interesting design of shoulder bag attracts consumers' eyes and makes consumers willing to buy it.

Further, the outer covering layer 11′ can be treated through a printing process, cire process or flocking process, showing a pattern that matches to the color design of the feather 21 and the down 22 to enhance the sense of beauty.

Further, the outer covering layer 11′ has a transparent or translucent waterproof breathable film (not shown) adhered to the inner surface thereof, prohibiting the down 22 (or fine fibers) of the stuffing material from protruding over the outer covering layer 11′.

Further, the inner covering layer 12′ can be bonded with a layer of nonwoven fabric (not shown).

Further, the feather 21, down 22, polyfill, man-made fiber or combination of feather 21 and down 22 of the stuffing material can be dyed into one single color or different colors, providing a visual effect.

Further, the shoulder bag 1′ can be made having side pockets (not shown) stitched to the outside wall of the bag body 10′. The side pockets are made of the same sheet material for the bag body 10′.

FIGS. 13 and 14 show a handbag 1″ embodying the present invention. The handbag 1″ comprises a bag body 10″ made by means of stitching to show a predetermined configuration having a receiving chamber 100″ defined therein, a zip fastener 13″ or enclosure means (not shown) to close/open the opening of the receiving chamber 100″, and double top handles 14″ or a carrying handle (not shown) affixed to the bag body 10″ for enabling the bag body 10″ to be carried by hand.

The back bag 1″ is characterized in that the bag body 10″ is made by stitching a sheet material into shape. The sheet material for the bag body 10″ comprises an outer covering layer 11″, an inner covering layer 12″ and a stuffing material stuffed in between the outer covering layer 11″ and the inner covering layer 12″. The stuffing material can be feather 21 (see FIG. 14), down 22, polyfill (not shown), man-made fiber (not shown) or combination of feather 21 and down 22. According to this embodiment, the stuffing material is a combination of feather 21 and down 22. The outer covering layer 11″ can be a transparent or translucent material. The feather 21 and the down 22 are dyed into predetermined colors so that the color design of the stuffing material can be seen through the transparent or translucent outer covering layer 11″ (see FIG. 13). This totally new and interesting design of handbag attracts consumers' eyes and makes consumers willing to buy it.

Further, the outer covering layer 11″ can be treated through a printing process, cire process or flocking process, showing a pattern that matches to the color design of the feather 21 and the down 22 to enhance the sense of beauty.

Further, the outer covering layer 11″ has a transparent or translucent waterproof breathable film (not shown) adhered to the inner surface thereof, prohibiting the down 22 (or fine fibers) of the stuffing material from protruding over the outer covering layer 11″.

Further, the inner covering layer 12 can be bonded with a layer of nonwoven fabric (not shown).

Further, the feather 21, down 22, polyfill, man-made fiber or combination of feather 21 and down 22 of the stuffing material can be dyed into one single color or different colors, providing a visual effect.

Further, the handbag 1 has side pockets stitched to the outside wall of the bag body 10″.

In conclusion, the present invention has the following advantages and features:

The color design of the stuffing material of feather 21, down 22, polyfill, man-made fiber or combination of feather 21 and down 22 of the bag body 10; 10′; 10″ of the bag 1; 1′; 1″ can be seen through the transparent outer covering layer 11; 11′; 11″, causing a sense of beauty and providing a visual effect.
  • 2. Except the function of providing a receiving chamber 100; 100′; 100″ for keeping things, the see-through design of bag body 10; 10′; 10″ of the bag 1; 1′; 1″ attracts consumers' eyes and makes consumers willing to buy the bag 1; 1′; 1″.

Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A bag comprising a bag body having a receiving chamber defined therein, a zip fastener/enclosure means adapted to close/open an opening of said receiving chamber, and shoulder straps/handle means affixed to said bag body for carrying by a person;

wherein:
said bag body is made by stitching a sheet material into shape, said sheet material comprising an outer covering layer, an inner covering layer and a stuffing material stuffed in between said outer covering layer and said inner covering layer, said stuffing material being selected from a group of feather, down, polyfill, man-made fiber and combination of feather and down, said outer covering layer being transparent or translucent material for enabling a person to see the color design of said stuffing material.

2. The bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said outer covering layer is treated through at least one of a printing process, a cire process and a flocking process to show a pattern that matches to the color design of said stuffing material to enhance the sense of beauty.

3. The bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said outer covering layer has a transparent or translucent waterproof breathable film adhered to an inner surface thereof, prohibiting said stuffing material from protruding over said outer covering layer.

4. The bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said inner covering layer is bonded with a layer of nonwoven fabric.

5. The bag as claimed in claim 1, wherein said stuffing material that is selected from the group of feather, down, polyfill, ma-made fiber and combination of feather and down is dyed into at least one color to provide a visual effect.

The bag as claimed in claim 1, further comprising at least one side pocket stitched to said bag body, each said side pocket being made by stitching a sheet material into shape, the sheet material for each said side pocket comprising a transparent or translucent outer covering layer, an inner covering layer and a stuffing material stuffed in between the outer covering layer and the inner covering layer, the stuffing material of each said side pocket being selected from a group of feather, down, polyfill, man-made fiber and combination of feather and down and dyed to show a color design.

The bag as claimed in claim 6, wherein the outer covering layer of each said side pocket is treated through at least one of a printing process, a cire process and a flocking process to shown a pattern that matches to the color design of the stuffing material of the respective side pocket to enhance the sense of beauty.

8. The bag as claimed in claim 6, wherein the outer covering layer of each said side pocket has a transparent or translucent waterproof breathable film adhered to an inner surface thereof, prohibiting the stuffing material from protruding over the outer covering layer.

9. The bag as claimed in claim 6, wherein the inner covering layer of each said side pocket is bonded with a layer of nonwoven fabric.

10. The bag as claimed in claim 6, wherein the stuffing material of each said side pocket that is selected from the group of feather, down, polyfill, ma-made fiber and combination of feather and down is dyed into at least one color to provide a visual effect.
