Abstract: This disclosure presents various means for securing a tracking beacon to personal protection equipment. The tracking beacon mount is constructed of a cover, a base, a transmitter and a mounting mechanism, such as a strap. The transmitter has a unique identifier which is detected by a proximity sensor. The proximity sensor is operably connected to a tracking system which can be used to detect the presence of the beacons. The system is programmed to recognize the types of items used and warn the user if something predetermined as required for the location or job type is missing.

Abstract: A container, such as a bag, including an article storage assembly, at least one malleable handle having a first end permanently or removably attached to the article storage assembly and a second end permanently or removably attached to the article storage assembly. The handle is bendable into various substantially rigid configurations. Each handle can also include an unmalleable portion. The container can be configured to allow the handles to be in at least two positions.

Abstract: A tool pouch, utility pouch, or the like, used on traditional tool belts with spring hinged closure device in the open position forces the mouth of the tool pouch into a fully open position creating greater access to the contents of the tool pouch. When the mouth of the tool pouch is pressed into a closed position, it secures the content of the tool pouch therein.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a carry (or carrying) bag is provided that includes an interior, substantially cut-resistant security panel assembly with a matrix of wires secured between or on one or more flexible material layers. Also in various embodiments, the security panel assembly may be positioned intermediate the bag outside wall and a lining of the bag, and in other embodiments, may also take the form of an expansion panel. Second or secondary locking fasteners are also provided to lock first or primary fasteners to or within the carrying bag, to provide security for compartments and pockets. A strap with one or more security cables, and various locking fasteners, may be attached to the carry bag. Methods for forming such security panel assemblies, expansion panels, and carrying straps are also disclosed.

Abstract: A soft kettlebell and methods for making the soft kettlebell. The soft kettlebell may generally comprise a body, the body having a soft outer shell and an inner weighted fill material, and a handle attached to the body. One or more embodiments of the soft kettlebell may provide for a safer alternative to conventional kettlebells while allowing a user the flexibility of performing similar weight training exercises as with the conventional kettlebells. The soft body of the soft kettlebell may dampen any inadvertent impact against users and surrounding objects if dropped or if loss of control occurs.

Abstract: A carry bag may comprise a body portion comprising a containment section forming an interior space therein, and a handle section attached to the containment section; and an attachment accessory. The attachment accessory may comprise a first clip member, a second clip member, and a cord member connecting the first clip member to the second clip member. The first clip member may be configured to attach to the body portion and the second clip member is configured to attach to an item. A distance of the cord member between the first and second clip members is longer than or equal to about eighteen inches.

Abstract: A personal belongings bag designed to be worn over a user's shoulder and rest on an opposite hip is disclosed. A preferred embodiment has a thin profile and is pliable to conform to a user's body and be worn under a user's coat, thereby deterring purse snatching. A reinforced mesh strap has a similar anti-slashing purpose. The bag also has an adjustable strap provided by a plurality of snap fasteners.

Abstract: A shoulder strap slippage prevention device not only wearable with simple actions, but alleviating an uncomfortable feeling of having one's body pressed; and a shoulder bag using it. The device includes a band-shaped prevention device body; a strap attachment part allowing one end of the device body to be attached to a shoulder strap of a shoulder bag; and a balance weight provided on the other end thereof. The strap attachment part is attached to the shoulder strap hung on a user's shoulder, and the device body is then placed around his/her neck such that the balance weight can hang off his/her other shoulder, causing a tensile force to be applied to the device body in a range from one shoulder to the other. The device can be worn with simple actions, preventing the shoulder strap from slipping off while alleviating an uncomfortable feeling of having the user's body pressed.

Abstract: Disclosed are handbags constructed using shoe components and shoe production methods. The handbags include a sole with an insole layer, a midsole layer, and an outsole layer. The insole lines the bottom of the interior of the handbag, the outsole lines the bottom of the exterior of the handbag, and the midsole rests in-between the insole and outsole layers. The handbags further include a welt, which is preferably attached to the insole and to the sidewalls of the handbag. The handbags also employ a combination of handbag side material, shoe uppers, stiffeners, counters, and other structures to form, support, and decorate the handbag sidewalls. Each of these sidewall components can be of different colors and textures to provide a distinctive structure reminiscent of a shoe. Additional materials can also be used to decorate the sidewalls. The sidewalls form a collar that encircles a handbag opening, preferably located near the top of the handbags.

Abstract: An expandable bag with purse and tote configurations. The bag includes a body including a purse portion; a sleeve portion with a sleeve opening; and first and second tote rings at opposite edges of the sleeve opening, wherein a first pocket is on a first side and a second pocket is on a second side and a pair of purse rings is in each of the pockets. The bag includes a strap with a strap clip at each end, and a pair of handles with a handle clip at each end. When the bag is in the purse configuration, the sleeve portion is folded inside the purse portion and the handles are attached to each of the pairs of purse rings. When the bag is in the tote configuration, the sleeve portion is folded out from the purse portion and the strap is attached to the tote rings.

Abstract: A reversible handbag capable of taking a variety of different shapes and configurations having a front side, a back side, and a bottom side, two side seams formed by joining the boundaries of the front side with the boundaries of the back side. The bottoms of the front side and back side are joined to the outer perimeter of the bottom side leaving an open periphery at the top of the handbag. The side seams each have an aperture located near their top edges and the front back sides each have two columns of two or more apertures. The open periphery can be folded inward or outward to create several different configurations of the handbag and the apertures on the side seams and front and back sides are capable of receiving clasps or other fasteners from straps in order to provide handles, carrying straps, and the like for the various configurations.

A strap is swivelably attached to strap bridges at opposite ends of the invertible handbag. Method steps are taught wherein the handbag closures may be closed, the invertible handbag inverted, and then the uppermost closure and mouth opened, to permit seeing and removing items which were formerly lost at the bottom of the handbag compartment. Means is disclosed to hold the closures closed. Optional sidebags may be mounted to the handbag sides, each including a sidebag roof mouth closure and a sidebag floor mouth closure.

More specifically, the system integrates a waterproof dry bag component optimized for storage of cameras and camera accessories, with a bag component of substantially the same size and shape of the dry bag into a single unit. When separated, the two components can perform as individual units.

Abstract: Disclosed is a convertible forearm purse which can be securely worn on the forearm of the user, or which, alternatively, may be carried, by means of a strap, in a different configuration as a shoulder bag. The convertible forearm purse attaches to wearer's forearm by a tubular opening that accommodates insertion of the hand and forearm and by smaller openings which facilitate hooking to the thumb, fingers, and the lower part of the wearer's palm. The convertible forearm purse extends over the wrist, upward to the forearm, and continues in length, stopping just short of the elbow. The forearm purse comprises at least one zipper or other means for accessing an internal compartment, a storage compartment for the shoulder strap, an interiorly-contained wallet, and further includes a pair of closeable exterior pockets.

The snap fasteners may be decorative snap fasteners. Use of the snap fasteners provides for variable attachment of the straps to the body and therefore enables each user of the carrying case to position the straps as they desire.

The system includes an outer carrier shell and at least two interchangeable, removable liners with varying characteristics adapted to differing requirements of transporting various small items. Any number of specialized liners can be includes in the system with preferable design choices for the set of interchangeable liners including one made of water-resistant material, and/or one made of thermally insulating material. Optionally an interior closure strap is provided to narrow the opening of the totebag. The interior of the outer carrier shell has means for temporarily attaching any one of the set of interchangeable liners. Each liner has matching attaching means. In alternative embodiments, the shell and/or the liners have a flexible flap of material that covers and protects the attachment means.

Abstract: Handbags useful for carrying and containing various and sundry items typically carried in handbags are provided with added capability of functioning as a pet leash. A tether suitable as a leash is attached to a handbag as provided herein, ensuring a pet-owning user is never without a leash for their pet when traveling or other activities including shopping. A tether as provided and structured herein additionally conveniently functions as a shoulder strap for a handbag and in alternate configurations may be hidden from view by being tucked inside the main pouch of such handbags, when they are used as a clutch.

Various implementations of the Ducky may be configured to protect a variety of handbags and/or like articles. The disclosed Ducky protects a handbag against rain, snow, and other potentially hazardous substances that may damage, stain or otherwise diminish the appearance and/or longevity of the handbag. The Ducky protects all exterior surfaces of the handbag, including straps, while allowing use of and access to the handbag. The Ducky is lightweight and portable and may be configured to be compactly stored, and may even be stored within the handbag, ready to be deployed as necessary.

As such, the purse may be selectively fixed to each wrist band with the at least one ring eyelet A shoulder strap is further included and attachable at each end thereof to one of a pair of strap attachment means fixed to the purse. The outside surface of the purse further may include at least one retention band adapted for selective retention to the outside surface of the purse.

Abstract: A mobile workstation is provided. The mobile workstation provides dual functions of transporting a mobile computer, such as a laptop, and providing a functional workspace. The bottom surface of the workstation includes two indented portions. This bottom surface is intended for placement on a user's legs and to allow for a more comfortable use of a laptop in that position. One or more extensions can be provided, such as a surface for using a computer mouse. The lid of the workstation can include rigid and non-rigid portions, which can be folded to compact the lid when the workstation is open and used as a workstation. A power supply compartment provides separate storage of a power supply from the laptop while allowing connection between the laptop and the power supply to permit use while in the laptop compartment.

Abstract: A handbag with exchangeable components is described. Also described are fastening mechanisms for use with a removable liner and for fastening the interior liner to the exterior of the handbag. Furthermore, exchangeable exterior pieces and mechanisms for fastening such exterior pieces to the exterior portion of the handbag are described.
