Multi-Opening Pill Box

Abstract

A multi-opening pill box comprises a body, mobile covers and sealing covers. The body is a polyhedron having a plurality of openings and a plurality of cover slots. The cover slots can receive the mobile covers and the sealing covers. Two opposite sides of the body respectively have joining pins and pin holes used to assemble together the body to another body. At a specified time, the user takes out pills from one specified side of the pill boxes of the present invention. The pills stored behind the mobile cover of the specified side are pills to be taken at the specified time. The pills stored behind the sealing cover of the specified side are pills the user should not take at the specified time.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a multi-opening pill box, particularly to a pill box structure, which allows for convenient dispensing of medicine and prevents users from taking wrong medicine.

2. Description of the Related Art

The conventional pill box can only contain medicine. When a user has to take several types of medicines, the conventional pill box is neither convenient for the user taking medicine nor prevents the user from taking the wrong medicine. So far, an effective solution has not appeared yet.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

To overcome the problems mentioned above, the present invention proposes a multi-opening pill box, which comprises a body, mobile covers, sealing covers, joining pins and pin holes. The body has a plurality of openings and a plurality of cover slots. The mobile covers and the sealing covers are respectively inserted into the cover slots to achieve a required function. The joining pins and the pin holes are arranged in two opposite sides of the body respectively and used to assemble together one body to another body. At a specified time, the user takes out pills from one specified side of the pill boxes of the present invention. The pills stored behind the mobile cover of the specified side are pills to be taken at the specified time. The pills stored behind the sealing cover of the specified side are pills the user should not take at the specified time. Thereby, the present invention is not only convenient for the user taking medicine but also prevents the user from taking the wrong medicine.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2. The present invention proposes a multi-opening pill box, which comprises a body 1, mobile covers 2 and sealing covers 3. The body 1 is a polyhedron having a plurality of openings and a plurality of cover slots 6. The cover slots 6 can receive the mobile covers 2 and the sealing covers 3. The mobile cover 2 is inserted into the cover slot 6 to integrate with the body 1. The mobile portion of the surface of the mobile cover 2 has a protrusion 21. The sealing cover 3 is inserted into the cover slot 6 to integrate with the body 1. The immobile portion of the surface of the sealing cover 6 has a protrusion 31.

One side of the body 1 has joining pins 4. The side opposite to the joining pins 4 has pin holes 5. Several bodies 1 can be assembled together via engaging the joining pins 4 with the pin holes 5 to achieve a required function, as shown in FIG. 2.

At a specified time, the user takes out pills from one specified side of the pill boxes of the present invention. The pills stored behind the mobile cover 2 of the specified side are pills to be taken at the specified time. The pills stored behind the sealing cover 3 of the specified side are pills the user should not take at the specified time. Thereby, the present invention is not only convenient for the user taking medicine but also prevents the user from taking the wrong medicine. Therefore, the present invention possesses utility, novelty and non-obviousness and meets the conditions for a patent.

Further, a reminder label may be stuck onto the surface of the pill box. Furthermore, the mobile covers 2 and the sealing covers 3 may be made of a transparent material, whereby the user can easily see the pills stored inside the body 1.

In conclusion, the present invention proposes a multi-opening pill box having functions that the prior-art pill boxes do not have. Therefore, the present invention has improvements over the conventional technology.

Claims

1. A multi-opening pill box comprising

a body having a plurality of openings and a plurality of cover slots;

at least one mobile cover inserted into said cover slots to integrate with said body and each having a protrusion on a mobile portion thereof;

at least one sealing cover inserted into said cover slots to integrate with said body and each having a protrusion on an immobile portion thereof; and

joining pins and pin holes arranged on two opposite sides of said body respectively and used to assemble together one said body to another said body.

2. The multi-opening pill box according to claim 1, wherein said body is a polyhedron.

3. The multi-opening pill box according to claim 1, wherein a surface of said body has an area for a label.

4. The multi-opening pill box according to claim 1, wherein said sealing cover is made of a transparent material.

5. The multi-opening pill box according to claim 1, wherein said mobile cover is made of a transparent material.
