Baby Wear

My invention is entitled Baby Wear. It is a functional cap designed to keep the child's head warm and dry to prevent from catching the common cold. It has a terry cloth inner lining that the average infant cap does not provide. It comes with a matching pair of lounge pants. A second cap with the same style and design has a different silk/rayon inner lining to keep the child's hairstyle in place. Both styles of the cap come with a matching pair of lounge pants. Both caps are functional. The different linings are what makes the difference.

Description
I. FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention generally relates to apparel, and, more particularly, to baby wear, for an infant or a child; capable of absorbing moisture from a body of the infant or the child, and protectingthe infant or the child from health hazards.

II. MOTIVATION FOR THE INVENTION

Infants and minor children have a delicate immune system. A slight variation in external conditions, such as a temperature of the surrounding where an infant or a child (hereinafter referred to as “child”) is present, may adversely affect the health of the child. For example, the child after a bath may be vulnerable to nasal infections, such as colds and the like, if the body of the child is not properly dried. In most cases, a parent or a caretaker of the child will judiciously try to dry the body of the child with a towel. However, the hair of the child may still remain wet even after drying with the towel, which may affect the health of the child. Further, children may sweat excessively, because of which their hair may remain wet. The children with wet hair when exposed to unfavorable external conditions may be at a risk of getting infected with various communicable diseases such as colds, influenza, viral infections and the like. Further drying of the body of the children by conventional methods may affect delicate skin of the children. Parents and caretakers may often use electrical appliances, such as a hair dryer, to dry the hair of the children. However, use of the electrical appliances has a detrimental effect on the health of the children, namely, such appliances may present a risk of burning or damaging the skin.

Various types of baby wear are known in the art to protect the child from the unfavorable external conditions. For example, the parent and the caretaker usually cover the head of the child with headgear in order to protect the child from the unfavorable external conditions. However, conventional headgear fails to absorb the moisture from the hair of the child and, as such, the child may be prone to health and climatic hazards such as cold. Further, the conventional headgear may get moistened by the wet hair of the child and as such may pose a risk to the health of the child.

Accordingly, there persists a need for baby wear, which is adapted to keep body of a child dry and protect the child from unfavorable external conditions such as heat, cold and the like.

Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide baby wear for keeping body of a child dry.

It is further an object of the present invention to provide baby wear capable of absorbing moisture from body of a child and, as such, being capable of protecting the child from health hazards such as nasal infections, fever, and the like.

It is further an object of the present invention to provide baby wear for keeping body of a child dry, which is a lightweight, attractive and adjustable to fit to any size of the infant or the child.
