Abstract: The invention concerns a disposable individual overall (1) for protection against radioactive particles, comprising a zip closure (FG1) from top to bottom and on the front in the trunk portion (3). The invention is characterized in that at least one other closure (FG2) extends from top to bottom in at least one of the legs (31, 32) of the trouser part (3) and comprises two strips (BA31, BA32) capable of being connected along another prescribed meshing line (LE3), at least one junction point (S) connecting two of the strips (BA31, BA32) beyond the other line (LE3) being present between the closure (FG1) and the other closure (FG3) in the closed state, a breaking member (CU) being provided on at least one of the closures (FG1, FG3) in order to allow breaking of the junction point (S) by pulling on the breaking member (CU).

Abstract: A fishing wader with a body portion and a pair of booties. The body portion has a front pocket assembly made of three stacked layers of material, including an outer layer having a plurality of hexagonal-shaped holes, a water-permeable middle layer, and a water-permeable inner layer. Each bootie has a toe piece, an ankle piece, and a sole piece. The toe piece has a top layer that is a laminated composite material including a waterproof breathable membrane. The toe piece also has a middle layer that is made of a durable and resilient waterproof material with a plurality of cutouts that penetrate completely through the middle layer. The toe piece also has a bottom layer. The durometer of the sole piece is preferably higher than the durometer of the toe and ankle pieces.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to apparel, clothing, and/or other body coverings. In particular, some implementations of the described systems and methods provide a body cover that is configured to cover a user's arms, legs, feet, and/or front side. In some cases, the covering's backside is configured to remain open such that the covering can easily be placed over a person while that person is in a car seat, a wheelchair, and/or any in any other suitable location. Other implementations are also described.

Abstract: An adjustable suit is provided and comprises fabric selected from the group consisting of single or multi-ply polymeric fabric and fabric from natural fibers. The adjustable suit includes a waist section having a front portion and a back portion and a waist section circumference, and a leg section including a pair of legs, each of the legs having a leg opening therein. Each of the leg openings has a leg opening circumference. The adjustable suit includes first, second, third and fourth adjustable members extending along the waist and leg sections. The first and second adjustable members are positioned on one side of a sagittal plane extending longitudinally along the waist and leg sections, and the third and fourth adjustable members are positioned on an opposite side of the sagittal plane of the suit and extend along the waist and leg sections.

An absorbent pad is disposed centrally on an interior surface of the flexible body, such that the absorbent pad can absorb fluid waste to protect the flexible body.

Abstract: A strapless multi-use garment comprises an upper garment portion designed to cover an area above waist of a user having a front portion and a rear portion, a gathered skirt having a front portion and a rear portion attached with the upper garment portion, a waist band attached at a top portion of the gathered skirt, a plurality of front panels attached at the front portion of the gathered skirt, a plurality of rear panels is attached at the rear portion of the gathered skirt and at least one fastening means. The plurality of front panels and the plurality of rear panels, extending downwardly from the waist band, are adaptable for multiple configurations that allow the multi-use garment to be worn in a wide range of stylish designs in different occasions.

Abstract: A strapless multi-use garment comprises an upper garment portion designed to cover an area above waist of a user having a front portion and a rear portion, a gathered skirt having a front portion and a rear portion attached with the upper garment portion, a waist band attached at a top portion of the gathered skirt, a plurality of front panels attached at the front portion of the gathered skirt, a plurality of rear panels is attached at the rear portion of the gathered skirt and at least one fastening means. The plurality of front panels and the plurality of rear panels, extending downwardly from the waist band, are adaptable for multiple configurations that allow the multi-use garment to be worn in a wide range of stylish designs in different occasions.

Abstract: This outerwear garment makes traveling while clothed in outerwear and restrained in a car seat restraint device safer for children and adults. By allowing the partial removal and repositioning of the front of the garment, proper security of car seat restraints can be achieved while keeping the wearer warm, and without necessitating full removal of the garment.

Abstract: A four-in-one mattress management system and method is disclosed for facilitating various tasks associated with beds of all sizes including making beds; rotating mattresses; holding a bed skirt in place while a mattress is rotated; installing or removing and re-installing a mattress, for example, in order to replace a bed skirt. The system includes an active mode and a passive mode. In an active mode, all four tasks mentioned above can be performed. A passive mode selectable. In a passive mode, the mattress can be easily rotated in a horizontal plane. During that mode, the system holds down the bed skirt while the mattress is being rotated. In an active mode, the present invention facilitates bed making and thus increases the efficiency of the housekeeping staff leaving more time for the housekeeping staff to attend to the rest of the room. The active mode also facilitates installation and replacement of bed skirts.

Abstract: A belt loop array for mounting a pouch or holster to waist belts of three or more different widths. The belt loop array consists of a plurality (five shown) of belt loop straps: a single intermediate strap, a pair of short straps and a pair of long straps, which are sewn or otherwise affixed to the back of a pouch or holster to form belt loops of three different widths. The loop straps are affixed to the pouch in a side by side arrangement with the intermediate strap interposed between the short loop straps and long loop straps.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to user interfaces and provide a novel and non-obvious method, system and computer program product for graphically labeling widgets in a mashup dashboard. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for graphically labeling widgets in a mashup dashboard can be provided. The method can include identifying a widget, assigning a care label to the identified widget based on a type of datafeed payload information associated with the identified widget and displaying the identified widget with the assigned care label in a user interface to enable a user to make a visually matched selection of widgets to create a self service dashboard.

Abstract: A medical compression suit has first and second elongate openings and first and second fasteners for releasably closing the first and second elongate openings respectively such that releasing the fasteners allows the openings to be opened, facilitating the donning and doffing of the suit by a wearer, the first and second openings being provided on the front or the rear of the suit.

Abstract: A protective crawling garment that protects the front side of a baby and the baby's clothes. The garment comprises an article of clothing that is worn over the front of the baby's body over the clothes. The upper part of the article may be removed and may be used separately when desired. The lower part of the article includes cushioning leg pads that provide protection for the baby's skin and knees from the friction produced when crawling.

Abstract: A wearable blanket having a sack with an integrated crotch that keeps the upper portion of the garment in a fixed position on an infant wearer. The wearable blanket cannot twist on the wearer or slide up to the head, but maintains full freedom of leg movement. In one embodiment, the wearable blanket has a diagonal closure extending from an armhole to an opposing bottom quadrant. In another example embodiment, the wearable blanket has a perimeter closure, extending from an armhole around the sack perimeter. In another embodiment, the wearable blanket is a footed sleeper with a diagonal opening.

Abstract: An innovative sleeping suit for infants, configured to provide warmth, a contained environment, and positive proprioceptive input, and thereby reduce neurological reflexive twitching or habitual waking patterns prevalent when infants are placed on their backs for sleeping and are not swaddled. The weighting in the suit is believed to reduce the neurological reflexive twitching and provides a swaddling effect to infants helping them to fall asleep and remain sleeping when on their backs. At least a portion of an anterior portion of the suit includes the weighting. The weighting may be accomplished by varying the thickness of the materials and/or quantity of layers of materials used on the anterior portion of the suit. The weighting may be distributed uniformly throughout the suit, the anterior portion of the suit, or can be strategically placed at proprioceptive target points along the anterior portion of the suit.

Abstract: The various embodiments include a children's garment having a selectively re-sealable lower body opening to enable changing of a child's diaper. The lower body opening may have an apex on the lower area of a garment torso portion and may extend continuously downward along the inner regions of a first and second leg portion. A fastener may provide a boundary for the leg opening and facilitate quick opening and closing of the lower body opening. When in a deployed state the lower body opening provides an enlarged aperture in the crotch region of the garment, thereby enabling access to a child's diaper region. Areas of the child other than the diaper region may remain covered to reduce exposure to the surrounding environment.

Abstract: A clothing apparatus for a baby comprising of a garment containing a plurality of sleeves, a neck aperture, and a closed bottom edge. The garment of the clothing apparatus may be coupled to a Cover by a plurality of securing means and in one preferred embodiment, the Cover is in the form of a blanket which can be positioned over the baby's torso region inside the garment. The clothing apparatus is adjustable and can be configured in a variety of ways to accommodate for changes in temperature.

Abstract: A one-piece garment (e.g. infant/toddler Onesie or body suit) includes independent elastic bands threaded alongside the body of the garment, from the underarms down to the hip, that when pulled allow for custom fitting of the garment. Once pulled to the desired length, the bands are securable with a snap fastener post, located at the end of the strap, to snap fastener studs, located at varying points on the inside of the garment. The contraction of the elastic bands preferably creates a drawstring effect and provides a gathering force upon the garment, which is held securely in place with the snap fastener so that the one-piece garment thereby shortens in length around a wearer's torso creating a custom fit. The one-piece garment can be expanded as needed by releasing the snap fastener post and positioning it on a lower positioned snap fastener stud.

An extension from a portion of the garment above the opening can extend down into the opening to prevent direct exposure of the child's skin.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a garment wearable by an infant for assisting a caregiver in carrying the infant. The garment comprises a bodysuit for an infant where the bodysuit provides grip areas for assisting a caregiver in carrying an infant. The article has at least one grip area having a frictional material, such as an elastomer, applied to the grip area to create a frictional surface extending above the outside surface of the article. The frictional surface is in contact with a caregiver to resist the relative motion of the infant with respect to the grip area.

Abstract: A full coverage gown that is used in medical facilities is presented. The gown includes a urine catheter pocket affixed to the gown. The gown also includes a pair of ties affixed to the gown above the urine catheter pocket. The pair of ties is configured to loop and tie around a hook attached to a urine catheter bag to prevent a backflow of urine and to secure the urine catheter bag within the catheter pocket.

The device plays a desired pre-recorded sound and is removable for the purpose of interchanging devices so different sounds may be chosen. The device may have recording capabilities so the wearer may replay a personalized prerecorded message while wearing the undergarment.

Abstract: An article of clothing for children with a hidden harness attached to the interior of the clothing structure and exterior handholds attached to the hidden harness. When a handhold is pulled, the force is spread over the entire hidden harness allowing the force of the grasp to be evenly distributed across the child's frame. The handholds also provide a place of attachment for an extension tether strap. The clothing structure used may be a full body garment, upper body garment, lower body garment or infant garment.

Abstract: A garment includes a vertical opening and a transverse flap on the front panel thereof for securing an external portion of a central line or catheter having at least two distal lumens or branches. The external portion of the catheter extends through a gap between a pair fasteners of the vertical opening. In order to secure the catheter, the flap includes a stopper that is fastened to front panel such that the stopper is located between the distal branches of the catheter. If one or both of the distal branches are pulled or tugged, a junction or transition area of the catheter is pressed against the stopper and limits further motion of the catheter to prevent dislodgement thereof. The flap further includes a series of fasteners for releasably coupling a free edge thereof onto the front panel to house the external portion of the catheter under the closed flap.

Garments have an ergonomic peanut-like shape. Garments have a reversible closure means accessing said interior volume of said fabric shell extending longitudinally along the central axis of said fabric shell from said head end to said foot end, a chin protector closure means and optionally a means for accepting an automotive seat belt. Detachable arms and/or leggings and attached retractable arms and/or leggings garments are shown.

Abstract: An infant garment includes a two-way zipper having a first, open end at the neckline of the garment and a second, closed end at one of the foot/ankle regions of the garment. A first and second zipper pull are configured to close the zipper when they are moved to the top and bottom, respectively, of the zipper track. A protective cover is positioned at the closed end of the zipper to cover the second zipper pull when it is located there. The cover is stitched to the garment on three of its sides, leaving only the top open for access to the second zipper pull. The pull tabs on each of the zipper pulls are devoid of openings along the portion of the pull opposite from the portion connected to the zipper pull.

Abstract: The subject matter presented herein provides a convertible child bodysuit including a unitary garment body and a flap. The unitary garment body includes a first panel and second panel. The flap includes a first end and second end, wherein the first end is fixed to the second panel. The second end of the flap is configured to releasably attach to both the first panel and releasably attach to a second panel, thereby converting a child bodysuit into and from a shirt-like garment.

Abstract: A medical undergarment system effective for supporting an ostomy system consists of a first diagonal catheter channel, a second diagonal catheter channel, a first vertical catheter channel, and a second vertical catheter channel. The system consists of tubing, a base undergarment, and a fluid bag. The medical undergarment system provides a comfortable yet stable ostomy system that can easily be slipped on and off by a user. The system enables convenient and easy removal of bodily fluid when using a catheter.

Abstract: The present invention provides clothing with one or more gripping elements and to an apparatus and method for safely and effectively handling an infant or patient without slippage of the handler's grip on the infant or patient. Further, the apparatus may be configured to other than infant or patient clothing, for example, to clothing of the elderly or invalids that increase the safety and robustness in the handling of the elderly or of invalids.

Abstract: An extender for an infant bodysuit is provided that can extend the usable life of an infant bodysuit that is too small for a particular infant. The extender includes two pieces; a front piece which is adapted to be attached to the front side of the infant bodysuit, and a back piece which is adapted to be attached to the back side of the infant bodysuit. Each piece further includes a fastening end which may include one or more buttons. The fastening end of the front piece may be fastened to the fastening end of the back piece so that the extender is secure between the crotch of the infant. To change the infant's diaper, a person can unfasten the front piece from the second piece at which point the diaper is accessible.

Abstract: A babybody includes a front piece (1) and a back piece, two shoulder sections (4) and a crotch (2). The distinguishing features of the babybody are that the back piece includes an outerlying element (3) and an innerlying element (5), that the innerlying element (5) has a free upper edge (10) and that an intermediate portion of the upper free edge (10) is situated at a level which is nearer to the crotch (2) than the ends of the upper free edge (10).

Abstract: A sleeping garment for toddlers that adjusts via a hook and loop connection at one flap per each of the feet to accommodate for the child's growth to extend the usability of the garment for that child as well as to preserve it for subsequent children as a “hand-me-down.” The hook portions are flaps of fabric located at the bottom of the toes and the hook is folded upward to the loops located at the top of the feet to adjust to the rapidly growing size of the child's feet. There are five claims submitted with seven drawings.

Abstract: An infant garment is provided with an open back for placement on an infant while positioned in a car seat. The garment can include arms and legs, or, alternatively, can have a bunting-style configuration with a closed lower end adapted for receiving both of an infant's legs. The garment is meant to be placed on a child or infant after that child has been secured within the car seat. The primary purpose is to ensure that the child is suitably warm throughout his or her duration in the car seat.

With the flap, the infant can touch a cheek and a chin, but the flap cannot reach and block a nose or a mouth, removing the threat of suffocation. The infant can freely move an arm holding the flap. The flap attaches to a one-piece garment that extends over an infant torso to a crotch, the crotch of the garment selectively fastened closed. In a further embodiment, the flap attaches to a torso harness that extends from the neck to the fastened closed crotch.

Abstract: The invention refers to a bodysuit used for babies or children up to 2 years old. The bodysuit consists of a fixed upper part (A) and an adjustable lower part (the panty) (B), the latter having two lateral openings (C, D) for the baby's/child's legs, bordered by two elastic strips (C1, Di) and on its backside several horizontal folds (E) created through vertical seams (F) done with elastic thread, which allow the panty to expand in length and width, depending on the baby's/child's size. Above the vertical seams there is a horizontal seam (G) done in elastic thread, which ensures the flexibility of the bodysuit in width and, furthermore, it fits the bodysuit closer to the baby's body. The bodysuit with extendible panty generates important savings in the parents' budget, as it can be used for a longer period than regular body suits, the size of the extendible panty being adjustable in length and width.
