CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application claims priority to Italian Utility Model Application MI2009U000396, filed Dec. 3, 2009, the entirety of which is incorporated herein by reference.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a lip marker with lip gloss applicator.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Lip liners are known, usually under the name “marker”, comprising a small tip and a sponge soaked in coloured ink in which the aforesaid tip draws.

If, as is however often wanted, the ink has a no-transfer formula, its application on the lips and the lips themselves tend to dry with consequential bother to the person who receives it.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is the object of the present invention to make a lip marker which permits to overcome the aforesaid drawback.

In accordance with the invention such an object is achieved with a lip marker comprising an elongated body which accommodates a sponge soaked in coloured ink and an applicator tip arranged at an end of said elongated body in contact with said ink, characterized in that it comprises a lip gloss applicator arranged at the end opposite to said elongated body.

The lip gloss or “gloss” may be in solid or “stick” form or in fluid or “bottle” form.

In both cases the application of the lip gloss allows a pleasant soft effect and also shiny lips to be obtained.

The marker according to the present invention is shown in the two versions—stick and bottle—in the accompany drawings, with reference to which it will be described herein in detail by way of example.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

In the drawings:

FIG. 1 shows a marker according to the invention with lip gloss applicator in stick version, in closed position, axially sectioned along the line I-I in FIG. 2;

FIG. 2 shows an outer view of the aforesaid marker;

FIG. 3 shows an outer view of the exploded representation of the same marker;

FIG. 4 shows an exploded representation of the same marker according to the line IV-IV in FIG. 3;

FIG. 5 shows a marker according to the invention with lip gloss applicator in bottle version, in closed position, axially sectioned along the line V-V in FIG. 6;

FIG. 6 shows an outer view of the same marker;

FIG. 7 shows an outer view of the exploded representation of the same marker;

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIGS. 1-4 refer to a marker according to the invention with lip gloss applicator in stick version.

The marker comprises an elongated body 1 equipped with an inner cylindrical cavity 2 in which is accommodated a sponge 3 soaked in a coloured ink for lips, in particular of no-transfer type.

Drawing in the sponge 3, and therefore in the ink in which it is soaked, is a single-piece tip 4, which comes out of an end of the elongated body 1 and is accommodated within a removable protective insert 5, in turn covered by a removable closing cap 6.

Inserted in the other end of the elongated body 1 is a support 7 for a lip gloss or gloss 8 in shape of solid bar or stick, on which a protective cap 9 fixed to the body 1 is removably arranged.

By removing the cap 6 and the insert, 5 the tip 4 is usable as ink applicator. By successively removing the cap 9, the stick 8 is usable as lip gloss applicator.

FIGS. 5-8 in turn refer to a marker according to the invention with lip gloss applicator in bottle version.

The marker again comprises an elongated body 1 equipped with an inner cylindrical cavity 2 in which is accommodated a sponge 3 soaked in a coloured ink for lips, in particular of no-transfer type.

Drawing in the sponge 3, and therefore in the liquid in which it is soaked, is a single-piece tip 4, which comes out of an end of the elongated body 1 and is accommodated within a removable protective insert 5, in turn covered by a removable closing cap 6.

Inserted in the other end of the elongated body 1 and release-blocked by means of a groove and protrusion coupling 10 is a support 11 for a sponge or “flock” applicator 12 which, by means of a cleaning sleeve or “wiper” 13, draws in a bottle 14 containing a lip gloss fluid.

A diaphragm 15 is interposed between the sponge 3 and the support 11 within the elongated body 1.

By removing the cap 6 and the insert 5 the tip 4 is usable as ink applicator. By successively sliding the applicator 12 from the bottle 14 and from the cleaning sleeve 13, it is possible to perform the application of the fluid lip gloss.
