Abstract: The modular cosmetic pen is an apparatus that compacts a writing instrument and a cosmetic tool together while preserving a streamline and ergonomic structure. The apparatus includes a writing instrument, an adapter, at least one cosmetic tool, and a cover. The writing instrument is preferably a pen; however, the writing instrument may be a variety of applied writing instruments. The writing instrument preferably includes a twist mechanism that extends and retracts a dispensing tip. The dispensing tip preferably expels ink. The adapter connects the at least one cosmetic tool to the writing instrument. The at least one cosmetic tool is connected to the adapter, positioned opposite the writing instrument. The at least one cosmetic tool includes a cosmetic applicator and a cap, and preferably a tube which serves as a reservoir for a cosmetic. The cover is removably attached to the adapter over the at least one cosmetic tool.

First and second heads are each axially movable between a use position and a stowed position. The first head is in the stowed position when the second head is in the use position, whereas the second head is in the stowed position when the first head is in the use position. The first head and the second head both are carried by a single carriage movable in the axial direction and arranged inside a barrel. A groove forming a cam track is formed by a first shoulder of the first housing portion and by a second shoulder of the barrel. A lug of the carriage cooperates with the groove.

Abstract: A self-inking cosmetic applicator pen eyeliner stamp pen. Applicator pen may feature a geometrically shaped stamp pad at a first end and a pen tip at another end. The stamp pad and pen tip are configured to be self-inking with via a reservoir carried within a body of the cosmetic applicator pen. The stamp pads may be formed as a uniform, or complimentary symmetrical shapes to apply a cosmetic material to the skin around a user's eyes. The present invention contemplates a left and a right pen having a stamp pad corresponding to a desired application to a user's left and right eyes. Alternatively, an applicator pen may include an applicator stamp at opposed ends thereof, corresponding to a left side stamp and a right side stamp.

Abstract: A liquid cosmetic container includes a container main body, a leading tube and an intermediate core. The intermediate core is disposed in the container main body and the leading tube, and the intermediate core sends a liquid cosmetic material. A rear end of the intermediate core is positioned inside the housing portion, and a tip of the intermediate core projects from an opening at a tip of the leading tube. The leading tube has an inclination portion at a tip end side, and the inclination portion inclines with respect to an axis center of the container main body. Accordingly, the container does not hinder an application of a makeup while a mirror is seen, ensuring improving the usability.

Abstract: A child-resistant writing instrument with a cap that lockingly engages a body portion via a locking assembly is presented herein. The locking assembly includes a pair of locking protrusions or pins on the cap that correspondingly fit within locking channels on the body of the writing instrument. A biasing mechanism, such as a spring, is used to bias the cap when locked to the body portion. Specifically, when the locking pins are positioned to enter the locking channel, the cap is pushed against the biasing force of the spring until the locking pins or protrusions enter a lateral or inner groove of the locking channel. The cap is then twisted or rotated such that the locking pins slide within the lateral groove toward a locking notch. The biasing force of the spring will then bias the pins into the locking notch, thereby locking the cap to the body.

Abstract: Articulated pens are provided. A pen includes: a shank; an ink tube comprising a first section, a second section, a third section, and a fourth section; a writing tip connected to the fourth section; a first guide rail connected to the shank and that bends the ink tube at a first angle between the first section and the second section; and a second guide rail pivotally connected to the first guide rail and that bends the ink tube at a second angle between the third section and the fourth section. Pivoting the second guide rail relative to the first guide rail adjusts a third angle between the second section and the third section.

Abstract: A connecting element with a dual engaging means that allows two different items of daily use to be connected together as a single article for the day to day convenience of the user is disclosed. The connecting element has the dual engaging means to secure two articles at a time. The connecting element is used as an engaging means and also as a closing means for respective articles. The connecting element has different geometric features at its either ends so that it is used as an engaging means and a closing means for the articles with different geometric features.

The handheld topical applicator is preferably adapted to release a precise amount of liquid onto a surface and is preferably used for various applications such as marking a surface and/or providing a proper amount of dosage for medicinal applications. The handheld topical applicator may comprise a liquid delivery system for dispensing a precise amount of liquid onto various surfaces, a projecting/retracting mechanism, and an audible and/or tactile physical feedback mechanism. The projecting/retracting mechanism may controllably retract or protrude a nib into and out of the housing, and the audible/physical feedback mechanism may provide either a physical and/or audible click once a desired amount of liquid transfers onto the surface.

Abstract: The instant application provides methods and systems for applying color to eyebrows and skin at locations where an eyebrow should be. A crème-to-powder formulation is used to apply the color. The crème-to-powder formulation includes a crème-to-powder base and pigmentation to provide a final color suitable for application as eyebrow makeup. A liquid sealant may be used to seal in the color once applied. Various kits are disclosed that include a crème-to-powder formulation and applicators.

Abstract: A writing instrument, which has an inner and outer writing element with separate writing medium reservoirs. The writing elements are coaxially mounted in an outer barrel and axially moveable with respect to one another. A driving mechanism may be actuated to allow a user to selectively extend one writing element. The inner and outer writing elements may have an inner sleeve therebetween to improve, for instance, rigidity of the outer writing element and to prevent contamination of the writing medium reservoirs. An outer sleeve may also be provided over the outer writing element. The outer sleeve can function to hold various components of the outer writing element together, and to allow for clean and easy refill of the outer writing element, especially when the outer writing element is a nib-type writing element with a filler-type reservoir. The writing instrument is designed so that a user can replace the inner and/or outer writing elements when their respective writing medium have been expended.
