VIDEO GAME BODY SUIT
The present invention is a video game body suit with a plurality of padded hard covers and a video game controller that includes a plurality of vibration motors disposed within the video game controller that activates the video game body suit when the user is playing and utilizing the video game body suit. There is also a relay box that includes a plurality of relays with a plurality of terminals on each of the relays of the video game controller that controls and directs current flow that powers the video game body suit and a power pack station with a plurality of power adapters that powers a plurality of vibration motors that are disposed under the padded hard covers.
This application claims priority to U.S. Provisional Application 61/298,754 filed on Jan. 27, 2010, the entire disclosure of which is incorporated by reference.
TECHNICAL FIELD & BACKGROUNDThe present invention is a video game body suit for a video game console, such as a Play Station or an X Box. The video game body suit covers the upper torso and arms of a user. The video game body suit produces the same vibrations a user would feel from a video game vibration controller. The video game body suit is made to simulate the actions from a video game, such as gun shots, stabbings, hitting, kicking, bombs and other actions. The user would feel the same vibrations as he or she would feel with a hand held vibration controller.
When a user hits or shoots a video gun, which is the right trigger finger on the right side of the controller at something or someone, the user would feel the effects or vibrations of shooting the gun. The right side and parts of the left side of the suit vibrates. And if the user gets shot, stabbed or kicked, the user would feel the vibrations on the left side and parts of the right side of the jacket, indicating the user getting hit.
The present invention will be described by way of exemplary embodiments, but not limitations, illustrated in the accompanying drawings in which like references denote similar elements, and in which:
Various aspects of the illustrative embodiments will be described using terms commonly employed by those skilled in the art to convey the substance of their work to others skilled in the art. However, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced with only some of the described aspects. For purposes of explanation, specific numbers, materials and configurations are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the illustrative embodiments. However, it will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without the specific details. In other instances, well-known features are omitted or simplified in order not to obscure the illustrative embodiments.
Various operations will be described as multiple discrete operations, in turn, in a manner that is most helpful in understanding the present invention. However, the order of description should not be construed as to imply that these operations are necessarily order dependent. In particular, these operations need not be performed in the order of presentation.
The phrase “in one embodiment” is used repeatedly. The phrase generally does not refer to the same embodiment, however, it may. The terms “comprising”, “having” and “including” are synonymous, unless the context dictates otherwise.
In operation of the video game body suit 1, a user must first put on the video game body suit 1, zip-up the video game body suit 1 and adjust the pads 12, 13, shell 11 and the adjustable belt 17 for a comfortable fit. The user then plugs the power station 40 into a wall power outlet and makes sure the power is off 50. The user then takes two of the four plugs 20 that are coming from the power station 40 and are then inserted into the female plugs 18 of the video game body suit's 1. There are two more plugs 19 that are smaller than the plugs 20 that are connected to the video game body suit 1. These plugs 19 are plugged into the relay box 60 that is under the video game vibration controller 100. After the relay box 60 is plugged in and the video game body suit 1 is secured, the power station 40 is then turned on. When the power station 40 is on, the video game body suit 1 is ready for use.
While the present invention has been related in terms of the foregoing embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention is not limited to the embodiments described. The present invention can be practiced with modification and alteration within the spirit and scope of the appended claims. Thus, the description is to be regarded as illustrative instead of restrictive on the present invention.
