2. Description of Related Art

Men and women are constantly looking for the latest and greatest in skin care and skin rejuvenation. The current market offers creams, lotions, injectables, pills and serums all offering to rewind the hands of time and give a user fresher younger looking skin. Along with the wide range of application methods are an even larger variety of ingredients. Everything from seaweed to placentas are offered as the key ingredient to these various facial treatments. While many of the products do help a person look and feel younger, people are always researching and looking to create the most perfect skin regimen.

Some problems with the current skin treatments, besides not working, are that they may be greasy, thin or difficult to use. Most people do not enjoy spending large amounts of time with creams on their face, keeping them away from enjoying their daily lives. With the busy lifestyles of many individuals, waiting for a facial mask to take effect and them be removed is considered an inconvenience. Also, there are very few products which can be worn easily under makeup without leaving the face feeling greasy or prohibiting proper makeup application. Most leave-on treatments do not allow the person to both treat their skin and wear makeup at the same time.

It would be desirable to have a facial treatment which can be absorbed into the facial skin while providing skin rejuvenation and refreshment. It would also be beneficial to have a facial treatment which may put on before applying makeup and it will not cause the makeup to smear or come off.

The absorbent face mask comprises a forehead cover, a chin cover, a set of cheek covers, a pair of eye holes, a set of nostril holes, a mouth hole; and a plurality of ingredients wherein the plurality of ingredients hold together to create the absorbent face mask which is absorbed into an outer layer of skin of a wearer as a primer before the wearer applies a layer of makeup.

These together with other aspects of the present invention, along with the various features of novelty that characterize the present invention, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed hereto and form a part of this present invention. For a better understanding of the present invention, its operating advantages, and the specific objects attained by its uses, reference should be made to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there are illustrated exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The advantages and features of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following detailed description and claims taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawing, wherein like elements are identified with like symbols, and in which:

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an absorbent face mask in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The present invention relates to an absorbent face mask which may cover an outer layer of skin on a face of a wearer. The absorbent face mask may be absorbed as a skin treatment and result as a primer before the wearer applies a layer of makeup. The absorbent face mask may offer the wearer a rejuvenating facial treatment while preventing makeup from settling into the fine lines and creases on the outer surface of the skin. The absorbent face mask may be enriched with the antioxidants and vitamins essential to collagen production which in turn improve the overall appearance of the skin. Incorporating a multitude of vitamin enriched, naturally derived ingredients, the absorbent face mask may be used with relative ease and efficiency, offering a one step application simple and convenient for everyone.

Turning now descriptively to the drawings, referring to FIG. 1, a perspective view of an absorbent face mask (100) is shown in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. The absorbent face mask (100) may be circular or oval in shape to cover an entire outer surface of a face of a wearer. The absorbent face mask (100) may include a forehead cover (102), a chin cover (104) and a set of cheek covers (106) (hereinafter cheek covers) on each side of the absorbent face mask (100). The absorbent face mask (100) may include a set of eye holes (110) to rest above the eyes of the wearer to allow the wearer to see while the absorbent face mask (100) is on their face. Also, the skin around the eyes is very sensitive to many chemicals and the same chemicals applied to the face cannot always be applied to the eyes. A set of nose holes (112) above the nostrils of the wearer, may be centrally located on the absorbent face mask (100) to permit the wearer to breath easily. Finally a mouth hole (114) may be located under the nose holes (112) by the chin cover (104). The mouth hole (114) may keep the lips free of chemicals and enable the wearer to talk.

The absorbent face mask may be composed from a plurality of ingredients (hereinafter ingredients) chosen from a luxurious selection of chemicals, vitamins and tightening agents. Each of the ingredients was specifically selected for their plumping and nourishing qualities for damaged skin. The ingredients included in the absorbent face mask may be as follows:

Accordingly, the ingredients may bind together to create the absorbent face mask. The mask may be applied to the face as a paper-thin, single layer of product which peels away from an outer packaging. The wearer may gently press the absorbent face mask onto the contours of the face for a secure and comfortable fit. Finally, the wearer may continue to work, watch TV or read while the absorbent face mask is absorbed into the skin of the wearer. The absorbent face mask may be applied at night or during the day. When applied during the day, makeup may be put on directly following application because the absorbent face mask serves as a primer by filling in the fine lines and creases on the face of the wearer. The ingredients composed in the absorbent face mask may also be sold as a cream or gel and packaged in a jar, tube or bottle to allow the user to apply the mask manually to their face. Alternatively, the ingredients may be sold as an absorbent treatment strips rather than a full face mask to allow a user to spot treat their face.

The foregoing descriptions of specific embodiments of the present invention have been presented for purposes of illustration and description. They are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed, and obviously many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teaching. The exemplary embodiment was chosen and described in order to best explain the principles of the invention and its practical application, to thereby enable others skilled in the art to best utilize the invention and various embodiments with various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated.
