Abstract: An improved system and method for an eye patch can comprise a patch and a pad. The patch can be substantially flat and flexible. The concave edge can be on one side of the patch. Additionally, the concave edge can substantially match the anatomical curve of a human's eye socket. Abstract: Methods of immobilizing the head of a patient include heating a thermoplastic mask preform to a formable temperature, forming the thermoplastic mask over at least a mouth of the patient, and pushing a mouth receiving end of a bite piece into a portion of the thermoplastic mask preform that is positioned over the mouth of the patient, which moves the portion of the thermoplastic mask preform into the mouth of the patient. The methods also include allowing the thermoplastic mask preform to cool from the formable temperature, causing the portion of the thermoplastic mask moved into the mouth of the patient to harden.

Abstract: Disclosed is a nasal breathing training tape adapted to impart training to a user to breathe from the nasal, and not from the mouth, during sleep time or wake-up time. The nasal breathing training tape includes a stretchable strip, an adhesive layer, and a cutout portion. The stretchable strip includes a first surface, and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The stretchable strip is stretchable to create tension therein. The adhesive layer may be applied to the second layer of the stretchable strip. The cutout portion is configured on the stretchable strip along a substantially central location of the stretchable strip. The stretchable strip is stretched up to a size to be accommodated and stick around a lip portion, surrounding the mouth but not touching the lip portion, of the user, such that the lip portion held together by the tension created in the stretchable strip.

The template body includes an upper edge which, when contacted with the skin surface, screens adjacent skin surfaces areas. A first makeup material may then be applied above the upper edge while a second makeup material is released to the skin area below the upper edge as the backing is pressed against the skin surface. The template may then be removed and the first and second makeup materials may then be blended together to create a desired ornamental effect.

Abstract: A makeup-assisting patch having a layer structure that a pressure sensitive adhesive layer is provided on one surface of a base layer, wherein (1) the base layer is a layer of a polyurethane elastomer having a glass transition temperature of 0° C. or lower, (2) the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive layer composed of a copolymer containing at least one monomer unit selected from the group consisting of an alkyl acrylate and an alkyl methacrylate each having an alkyl group having 8 to 12 carbon atoms in a proportion of 70% by weight or more, and (3) the thickness of the base layer is 1 to 10 ?m, the thickness of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is 1 to 15 ?m, and the total thickness of these both layers is 2 to 20 ?m.

Abstract: A brow tool comprises a first extending arm. The first extending arm has a first gear at a base portion. A first straight edge is defined on an inside portion of the first extending arm. The first straight edge is offset in a latitudinal direction in the amount of one half of a gap distance, to provide a latitudinal offset. A second extending arm has a second gear at a base portion. A second straight edge is defined on an inside portion of the second extending arm. The second straight edge is offset in a latitudinal direction to provide a latitudinal offset in the amount of one half of a gap distance. A housing connects the first gear to the second gear so that the first gear is in meshed configuration with the second gear.
