RADIAL HEAT SINK DEVICE
A radial heat sink device includes a central heat conduction member, a plurality of heat sink fins and at least one curved heat conduction pipe. The plurality of heat sink fins are radially disposed around the central heat conduction member and each has a portion connected to an outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member. Each of the heat sink fins has a recess disposed at an upper end or a lower end thereof. The curved heat conduction pipe is tightly connected to the bottom of central heat conduction member and flush with the bottom of central heat conduction member and positioned in the recess of each of the heat sink fins. The radial heat sink device has the at least one heat conduction pipe which is flush with the bottom of the central heat conduction member to contact with the heat source.
(a) Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a radial heat sink device and more particularly to a radial heat sink device which is compact and adapted for a CPU to dissipate heat directly.
(b) Description of the Prior Art
A conventional radial heat sink device comprises a plurality of heat sink fins and a heat conduction member. The plurality of heat sink fins are connected to an outer wall of the heat conduction member. The heat conduction member can be a circular or square pipe or a solid member. The conventional radial heat sink device dissipates the heat of a CPU or other heat unit through the heat conduction member and the plurality of heat sink fins, which is unable to satisfy the demand of quick dissipation. Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself with his many years of practical experience to solving this problem.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe radial heat sink device of the present invention comprises a central heat conduction member, a plurality of heat sink fins and at least one curved heat conduction pipe. The plurality of heat sink fins are radially disposed around the central heat conduction member and each of the heat sink fins has a portion connected to an outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member. Each of the heat sink fins has a recess disposed at an upper end or a lower end thereof. The curved heat conduction pipe is tightly connected to the bottom of the central heat conduction member and flush with the bottom of central heat conduction member and is also positioned in the recess of each of the heat sink fins. The radial heat sink device is compact and adapted to directly contact with the heat source of a CPU or other heat unit. The heat can be dissipated quickly through the central heat conduction member, the curved heat conduction pipe and the plurality of heat sink fins.
Another embodiment of the present invention provides a radial heat sink device, wherein the plurality of heat sink fins are arranged in two disjoined sectors to surround and connect to the outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member. Two curved heat conduction pipes are respectively positioned in the recess of each of the heat sink fins. Each curved heat conduction pipe is flush with the bottom of the central heat conduction member. Thus, the radial heat sink device with two curved heat conduction pipes is assembled.
Another embodiment of the present invention provides a radial heat sink device, wherein the plurality of heat sink fins are arranged in two disjoined sectors to surround and connect to the outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member. Two curved heat conduction pipes are respectively positioned in the recess of each of the heat sink fins in each sector. Each curved heat conduction pipe is flush with the bottom of the central heat conduction member. Thus, the radial heat sink device with four curved heat conduction pipes is assembled.

The plurality of heat sink fins 2 are radially disposed around the central heat conduction member 1 and each of the heat sink fins has a portion connected to the outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member 1. Each of the heat sink fins 2 has a recess 21 at an upper end or a lower end thereof, as shown in FIG. 3. Each of the heat sink fins 2 is inserted to the outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member 1. The number, shape, position of the heat sink fins 2 can be changed freely. The heat sink fins 2 can be coupled to the heat conduction member 1 by insertion or by welding.

Compared to the conventional heat sink device, the radial heat sink device of the present invention is compact and diverse.
Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
Claims
1. A radial heat sink device, comprising a central heat conduction member, a plurality of heat sink fins and at least one curved heat conduction pipe;
- the central heat conduction member having an outer peripheral wall to connect with the plurality of heat sink fins and a bottom formed with at least one groove to receive the at least one curved heat conduction pipe;
- the plurality of heat sink fins being radially disposed around the central heat conduction member and each heat sink fin having a portion connected to the outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member, each of the heat sink fins having a recess thereon;
- the at least one curved heat conduction pipe being tightly secured in the at least one groove, respectively, of the central conduction member and flush with the bottom of the central heat conduction member and positioned in the recess of each of the heat sink fins.
2. The radial heat sink device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the central heat conduction member has a circular shape, a square shape, or another regular shape.
3. The radial heat sink device as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the heat sink fins has the recess disposed at an upper end thereof.
4. The radial heat sink device as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the heat sink fins has the recess disposed at a lower end thereof.
5. The radial heat sink device as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the heat sink fins is inserted to the outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member.

The radial heat sink device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of heat sink fins are arranged in two disjoined sectors to surround and connect to the outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member, two curved heat conduction pipes are respectively positioned in the recess which is disposed at an upper end or a lower end of each of the heat sink fins, and each curved heat conduction pipe is flush with the bottom of the central heat conduction member.

The radial heat sink device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of heat sink fins are arranged in two disjoined sectors to surround and connect to the outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member, two curved heat conduction pipes are respectively positioned in the recess which is disposed at an upper end or a lower end of each of the heat sink fins in each sector, and each of the curved heat conduction pipes is flush with the bottom of the central heat conduction member.

The radial heat sink device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of heat sink fins are arranged in two disjoined sectors to surround and connect to the outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member, each of the heat sink fins has an upper recess and a lower recess at an upper end and a lower end thereof, respectively, two upper and lower interlaced curved heat conduction pipes are respectively positioned in the upper and lower recesses of the heat sink fins in each sector, and each of the curved heat conduction pipes is flush with the bottom of the central heat conduction member.

The radial heat sink device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of heat sink fins are arranged in two disjoined sectors to surround and connect to the outer peripheral wall of the central heat conduction member, each of the heat sink fins has an upper recess and a lower recess at an upper end and a lower end thereof, respectively, two upper and lower interlaced curved heat conduction pipes are respectively positioned in the upper and lower recesses of the heat sink fins in each sector and are flush with the bottom and the top of the central heat conduction member.
