COMBINATION OF MAKE-UP DISPENSER AND BRUSH

Abstract

A combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush is disclosed in the present invention. Said brush is disposed on the distal end of a cosmetic powder dispenser. The said cosmetic powder is held in a reservoir and can pass through the small holes in the said distal end and be applied using the said brush. The said combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush can also includes an eyeliner. Users of such device can apply a combined or match color of eye liner and cosmetic power using one device.

REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This patent application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application No. 61/450,128 filed on Mar. 7, 2010, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a relates to a combination make-up dispenser and brush. More specifically, the invention is a combined cosmetic dispenser and brush and a combined eye shadow and liner dispenser and brush.

Mostly often, cosmetic powders are packed in a container for storing and are applied to a facial area with an applicator such as a brush. Conventional way to apply cosmetic powders involves opening the container, swirl brush into powder, tap off excess and apply to a facial area. Cosmetic powders break easily when accidentally dropped or jostled in a cosmetics bag or purse, leaving excess powder that is wasted even before dusting a brush with product.

The present invention provides an easy-use cosmetic powder dispenser and applicator that will not have the problem of leaving excess powder and wasting cosmetic powder.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, there is disclosed a combination make-up dispenser and brush. More specifically, the invention is a combined cosmetic dispenser and brush; and a combined eye shadow and liner dispenser and brush.

According to the present invention, the combined cosmetic dispenser and brush comprises of a lid, a brush, a cosmetic powder dispenser with a distal end having small holes on it, and a cosmetic powder reservoir. The said brush is disposed on the said distal end of the said cosmetic powder dispenser. The said cosmetic powder passes through the small holes and can be applied by the said brush. The combined eye shadow and liner dispenser and brush comprises of a lid, a eye shadow brush, a eye shadow dispenser with a distal end having small holes on it, an eye shadow reservoir, and an eyeliner at the opposite end to the said brush. The said brush is disposed on the said distal end of the said eye shadow dispenser. The said eye shadow passes through the small holes and can be applied by the said eye shadow brush. The said eyeliner can be pulled out, twisted out or by other convenient ways.

The more important features of the invention have thus been outlined in order that the more detailed description that follows may be better understood and in order that the present contribution to the art may better be appreciated. Additional features of the invention will be described hereinafter and will form the subject matter of the claims that follow.

Before explaining at least one embodiment of the invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of construction and the arrangements of the components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The invention is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced and carried out in various ways. Also it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein are for the purpose of description and should not be regarded as limiting.

As such, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the conception, upon which this disclosure is based, may readily be utilized as a basis for the designing of other structures, methods and systems for carrying out the several purposes of the present invention. It is important, therefore, that the claims be regarded as including such equivalent constructions insofar as they do not depart from the spirit and scope of the present invention.

The foregoing has outlined, rather broadly, the preferred feature of the present invention so that those skilled in the art may better understand the detailed description of the invention that follows. Additional features of the invention will be described hereinafter that form the subject of the claims of the invention. Those skilled in the art should appreciate that they can readily use the disclosed conception and specific embodiment as a basis for designing or modifying other structures for carrying out the same purposes of the present invention and that such other structures do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention in its broadest form.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIG. 1, there is disclosed a combination make-up dispenser and brush. More specifically, the invention is a combined cosmetic dispenser and brush 10; and a combined eye shadow and liner dispenser and brush 20.

According to the present invention, the combined cosmetic dispenser and brush 10 comprises of a lid 11, a brush 12, a cosmetic powder dispenser with a distal end having small holes on it 13, and a cosmetic powder reservoir 14. The said brush is disposed on the said distal end of the said cosmetic powder dispenser. The said cosmetic powder passes through the small holes and can be applied by the said brush.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the said cosmetic powder is blush.

In another embodiment of the present invention, the combined cosmetic dispenser and brush further comprising an eyeliner at the opposite end to the said brush. The said eyeliner can be pull out or twisted out or by other convenient ways. In another embodiment of the present invention, the said cosmetic powder is blush. In yet another embodiment of the present invention, the color of the said eyeliner matches the color of blush.

Referring to FIG. 2, there is also disclosed a cosmetic powder dispenser and brush 20 comprises of a lid 21, a eye shadow brush 22, a eye shadow dispenser with a distal end having small holes on it 23, and an eye shadow reservoir 24, and an eyeliner 25 at the opposite end to the said brush. The said brush is disposed on the said distal end of the said eye shadow dispenser. The said eye shadow passes through the small holes and can be applied by the said eye shadow brush. The said eyeliner can be pulled out, twisted out or by other convenient ways. In one particular embodiment of the present invention, the color of said eyeliner matches with the color of said eye shadow.

While there have been shown and described and pointed out the fundamental novel features of the invention as applied to the preferred embodiments, it will be understood that the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention and not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed. Obvious modifications or variations are possible in light of the above teachings. The embodiments discussed were chosen and described to provide the best illustration of the principles of the invention and its practical application to enable one of ordinary skill in the art to utilize the invention in various embodiments and with various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated All such modifications and variations are within the scope of the invention as determined by the appended claims when interpreted in accordance with the breadth to which they are entitled.

Claims

1. A combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush, comprising:

a lid;

a brush to apply said cosmetic power;

a dispenser with a distal end, said brush disposed on said distal end; and

a cosmetic power reservoir to hold said applied cosmetic powder.

2. A combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush of claim 1, wherein:

said cosmetic powder is blush.

3. A combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush of claim 1, wherein:

said cosmetic powder is bronzer.

4. A combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush of claim 1, further comprising an eyeliner at the opposite end to said brush.

5. A combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush of claim 4, wherein said cosmetic powder is blush.

6. A combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush of claim 4, wherein said cosmetic powder is blush; and the color of said eyeliner matches the color of blush.

7. A combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush of claim 1, wherein said brush is an eye shadow brush and said cosmetic powder is eye shadow.

8. A combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush of claim 7, further comprising an eyeliner at the opposite end to said brush.

9. A combined cosmetic powder dispenser and brush of claim 7, further comprising an eyeliner at the opposite end to said brush; and the color of the eyeliner matches the color of said eye shadow.
