FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThis invention relates to grooming kits, and more specifically, to a shaving kit for the shaving of hair above the neck, such as a beard, side-burns, mustache, and the like giving the aforementioned hair lines any desired straight or curved appearance.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONFacial hair and head hair shaving is a regular, often daily chore for many adult males. When shaving, many men like to form various hair line curves according to their individual desire. However, achieving consistent, neat, and stylish results trimming facial hair and sideburns is a daily challenge for many individuals. To meet this challenge, numerous devices have been developed to assist amateurs and professionals alike in trimming and shaving hair on the head, neck, and face.
Among these devices are guides for trimming sideburns that protect a portion of the sideburn from the razor, as well as shields, which are hung from the ear, from straps worn on the head, or from the arms of spectacle frames to protect a measured length of sideburn. While these devices may work, these devices are limited to the number of different hair line curves that may be formed. Further, these devices are not intended to guide the trimming of hair on the remainder of the face.
Therefore, a need existed to provide a device and method to overcome the above problem.

DETAILED DESCRIPTIONReferring now to
The grooming device 10 may have a plurality of different templates 12A-12C. The different templates 12A-12C may be held in a single container 14. Having all of the different templates 12A-12C in a single container 14 provides for easy access to the different templates 12A-12C.
The different templates 12A-12C may be formed out of a hard but flexible material. A hard but flexible material may allow the different templates 12A-12C to bend when pressure is applied so that the templates 12A-12C conforms to the shape of the face of a user. However, the different templates 12A-12C are sturdy enough so that when pressure is applied, the different templates 12A-12C will not be permanently bent so as to deform the shape of the different templates 12A-12C. The different templates 12A-12C may be formed of a hardened plastic, aluminum, a flexible stainless steel, or the like. The listing of the above is given as an example and should not be seen in a limiting manner.
