One or more magnets are fixed with the front and back members of the clip, aligned with one another to maintain the clip in a closed position magnetically. The hair extensions are fixed with the outer side of the members. In use with the clip moved from an open position to the closed position about the person's hair, the hair extensions hang downwardly to augment the appearance of the person. The person's hair not within the clip can be combed over the clip to hide the clip from casual view.

    Abstract: A hair cutting guide/apparatus and method for aiding in creating/trimming a humans hair into a mohawk type hairstyle. The mohawk guide consists of two side pieces, two adjustable spacers/connectors, and two clips. The bottom edges of the two side pieces are contoured to follow the shape of the human head from the start of the hairline to the nape of the neck. The mohawk guide is slid into position with the two clips held open with the front of the guide by the start of the user's hairline. The clips are then released which causes the clips to close via spring tension and thereby grip the hair in between the bottom edges of the clips and the inner surfaces of the two side pieces. With the mohawk guide now securely attached to the user's head, the hair on both sides of the guide is cut. Then the mohawk guide clips are opened and the guide is slid back through the user's hair until the front of the guide is where the end of the the guide was during the previous step.

    Abstract: A hair styling comb comprising a body having a handle, a release cone, and a guide measuring system that are combined to precisely separate hair in orderly rows for braiding. The guide measuring system facilitates successive measurement of a partial circumference of spaced apart sections of the scalp. Each section is radially measured by successive placement of the comb measuring section upon the scalp, followed by linear movements of the comb until a peripheral measurement is approximated by the combined readings. The spaced apart circumference regions are reduced to increments by dividing their length measurements by the number of desired braid rows the stylist is creating. The release cone is placed in the grooves of the bottom of the braid and ten slid through smoothly upwardly to the scalp of the nape line. The release cone releases the grips of the braids.

    Abstract: Clean-Necks System is a hair cutting method and apparatus that may be used by an individual to accurately trim his or her own hair. The clean-necks system may fasten around an individual's head using hook and loop fasteners. In a size-adjustable embodiment, notches found on the back may adjust the size of the unit, allowing use of the product by both adults and children. The bands that hold the clean-necks system around an individual's head may be elastic and flexible for comfort. A curved sloping guard may be attachable on the back of the clean-necks system whereby the curved sloping guard may be adjusted as desired by the user and may provide a cutting line. Once the clean-necks system is comfortably in place, individuals may utilize standard beard or hair trimmers and follow the curved sloped guard to cleanly remove hair from their neck in a straight line.
