Ball-in'

The game Ball-in’ provides a new, unique feature of a raised, plastic cylinder that adds skill, and a complex scoring system to the game. The unique cylinder is attached to a larger plastic cylinder, or bucket, both which are targets for scoring by the toss of a bean bag ball.

Description

Ball-in’ is a team sporting activity game which consists of a round, bean bag type hall (slightly larger than a golf ball) and two plastic buckets (twelve to twenty-four inches in height.) The buckets will be made of flat, hard, thin and flexible plastic that will bend into the she shape of the bucket, where the two ends of the plastic will interconnect when put together. Connected to each bucket is a three inch wide by three inch long plastic cylinder that sits slightly higher than the top rim of the bucket. The cylinder will have a clip attached that will allow it to connect to the bucket by sliding down over the top rim of the bucket for a snug fit.

Buckets are set on the ground at a recommended thirty feet minimum from each other, with a team player behind or on the side of each bucket (players are not allowed to step in front of the bucket.) A player tosses the bean ball toward the other bucket where their teammate is. If the bean ball lands in the bucket unassisted, three points are earned. If the bean ball touches the bucket unassisted and in flight, but does not go in two points are earned. If the bean ball goes into the unique raised cylinder, the score goes back to zero, or the players can choose alternate scoring options of earning five points or earning three points and forcing the other team to lose a turn.

The team player receiving the thrown bean ball has the option of assisting the ball toward the bucket by slapping it, in flight with one hand, where two points will be earned if it goes into the bucket assisted, and one point if it touches the bucket assisted. If an assisted ball goes into the unique raised cylinder, the original cylinder scoring applies.

After the throw to the receiving player has been made, the receiving player then throws back to their teammate, and then the next learn repeats the same steps.

A team wins when exactly eleven points are scored. If a team goes over eleven points, their points drop down to five points. When a team reaches eleven points, the trailing teammates get a final throw each to try and reach eleven points. If achieved, the game extends to fifteen points. If the trailing team sinks the bean ball into the unique raised cylinder, the score of the opposing team goes down to five points, but the trailing team does not receive any scoring for the cylinder shot.

The first team to reach or go over fifteen points wins the game.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING

The drawing is a plan view of all of the parts showing my new design. The drawings marked A are the buckets in their setup position, ready for use. The buckets marked A are hollow, with no bottom, and are identical/symmetrical all around. The drawings marked B are the unique raised cylinders that are attached onto the buckets A. The drawing marked C is the bean bag ball. The drawing marked D is a bucket at its stored, flat position, showing attached drawings marked E, which are male tabs, and drawings marked F, which are female holes that tabs E will connect into, to form a standing bucket as shown in drawings A.
