Container with Multiple Chambers and Multiple Openings

A container with multiple chambers and multiple openings has two bottles, the interior of each of which is formed with a chamber for holding a beverage. The chambers are not connected. Each of the chambers has an upper opening facing upward and a lower opening facing downward. Each of the upper openings has a top cover to close the corresponding upper opening. Each of the lower openings has a bottom cover to close the corresponding lower opening. The bottles can be connected and separated.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

This application claims the benefit of foreign application TW 100128843, filed in Taiwan on Aug. 12, 2011, the entire specification of which is incorporated by reference.

FIELD OF INVENTION

The invention relates to a container and, in particular, to a container with multiple chambers and multiple openings.

RELATED ART

A beverage container in the prior art is shown in FIG. 12. It includes a bottle 4, whose interior is formed with an accommodating space 41. The bottle 4 has an opening 42 at both top and bottom. A filter 43 is located at the lower opening and extending toward the accommodating space 41. The two openings 42 have a top cover 44 and a bottom cover 45, respectively to close the openings. The lower cover 45 urges and positions the filter 43 to the end edge of the lower opening 42. However, the interior of such a container has only one accommodating space for holding one kind of beverage. It is apparently inadequate when one wants to hold a variety of different beverages.

FIG. 13 shows a container combo structure, including several inflatable containers connected in series. The interior of each container 5 forms a capacity space 51 and an inflatable space 52 enclosing the capacity space 51. The inflatable spaces 52 of the containers 5 are connected by a channel 53 so as to combine the containers 5 together.

Although the above structure can hold different contents with the capacity spaces of the containers, the containers cannot be separated. This is inconvenient for cleaning the containers.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An objective of the invention is to provide a container with multiple chambers and multiple openings. The chambers hold several different types of beverages. A detachable junction is interposed between adjacent chambers. Each chamber is separable.

To achieve the above-mentioned objective, the invention includes two bottles, the interior of each of which is formed with a chamber for holding a beverage. The chambers are not connected. Each chamber has an upper opening facing upward and a lower opening facing downward. Each upper opening has a top cover to close it. Each lower opening has a bottom cover to close it. The invention has the feature that each bottle has a connecting part. The two bottles are connected by the connecting parts. One can separate the connected bottles if necessary.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein the same references relate to the same elements.

Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 4 for a first embodiment of the disclosed container with multiple chambers and multiple openings. It includes two bottles of 1, 2. The interiors of the bottles 1, 2, are formed respectively with a chamber 11, 21 for holding beverages. The chambers 11, 21 are not connected. Each of the chambers 11, 21 is formed with an upper opening 22 facing upward (only one is shown) and a lower opening 23 facing downward (only one is shown). The upper openings 22 have top covers 14, 24 respectively to close the openings 22. In this embodiment, the lower openings 23 of the bottles have filters extending toward the chambers 11, 21, respectively. Each of the filters 25 (only one is shown) is disposed at the end edge of the corresponding lower opening 23. A bottom cover 26 (only one is shown) is provided at the corresponding lower opening 23 to close the lower opening 23. Each of the bottom covers 26 urges the corresponding filter 25 to the end edge of the corresponding lower opening 23. The bottom surfaces of the bottles 1, 2 are provided respectively with supporting boards 19, 29 to prevent the bottles from tumbling.

The sidewalls of the bottles 1, 2 are formed respectively with a connecting part and an auxiliary connecting part. The bottles are connected via the connecting parts and the auxiliary connecting parts. The two bottles 1, 2 are connected at the same level horizontally. On the two bottles 1, 2 in this embodiment, one connecting part is a first cavity 27 and the other is a first block 17 corresponding to the first cavity 27. Likewise, for the auxiliary connecting parts of the two bottles 1, 2, one is a second cavity 18 and the other is a second block 28 corresponding to the second cavity 18. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the engaging direction of the connecting parts of the two bottles is parallel to that of the auxiliary connecting parts, so that the connecting part and the auxiliary connecting part of one bottle align with those of the other bottle. By moving the two bottles 1, 2 close to each other, one can engage and combine the two bottles 1, 2. To separate them, one simply exerts horizontal forces in opposite directions on the two bottles 1, 2.

Please refer to FIGS. 5 and 6 for a second embodiment of the invention. It differs from the first embodiment in the connecting parts on the bottles 1, 2. One of them is a first groove 27B extending from the top of the bottle 2 to the bottom thereof. The other is a protruding bar 17B on the bottle 1 corresponding to the first groove 27B. Likewise, for the auxiliary connecting parts of the two bottles of 1, 2, one is a second groove 18B extending from the top of the bottle 1 to the bottom thereof. The other is a second protruding bar 28B on the bottle 2 corresponding to the second groove 18B. The two bottles 1, 2 are more firmly connected because of the larger engaging areas on the connecting parts and the auxiliary connecting parts. Furthermore, due to the shapes of the connecting parts and the auxiliary connecting parts in this embodiment, the two bottles can be horizontally connected, as shown in FIG. 7, or vertically, as shown in FIG. 8.

Please refer to FIGS. 9 to 11 for a third embodiment of the invention. It differs from the previous two embodiments in that the two bottles 1, 2 have a shared bottom cover 26. One of the connecting parts of the two bottles 1, 2 has two inner thread sections 261, located respectively on the two outer end surfaces of the shared bottom cover 26. The other has two outer thread sections 131 corresponding to the inner thread sections 261, located respectively at the lower openings 13 of the two bottles 1, 2. The two bottles 1, 2 are then connected via the connection of the inner and outer thread sections 261, 131 between the bottom cover 26 and the lower opening 13. The two bottles 1, 2 are connected along the axial direction. To separate them, one simply unscrews the two thread sections 261, 131.

Although the invention has been described with reference to specific embodiments, this description is not meant to be construed in a limiting sense. Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternative embodiments, will be apparent to people skilled in the art. Therefore, it is contemplated that the appended claims will cover all modifications that fall within the true scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A container with multiple chambers and multiple openings, comprising two bottles, the interior of each of the bottles being formed with a chamber for holding a beverage, the chambers being unconnected, each of the chambers having an upper opening facing upward and a lower opening facing downward, each of the upper openings having a top cover to close the corresponding opening, and each of the lowering openings having a bottom cover to close the corresponding lower opening, wherein the container is characterized in that:

each of the bottles has a connecting part so that the connecting part of one bottle is connected to the connecting part of the other bottle, and the connected bottles are separable.

2. The container with multiple chambers and multiple openings of claim 1, wherein the connecting parts are formed on the outer sidewalls of the bottles in a same height, respectively, so that the two bottles are connected at the same level by connecting the connecting parts.

3. The container with multiple chambers and multiple openings of claim 2, wherein the connecting part of one bottle is a first cavity and the connecting part of the other bottle is a first block corresponding to the first cavity.

4. The container with multiple chambers and multiple openings of claim 3, wherein the sidewall of each of the bottles further has an auxiliary connecting part; one of the auxiliary connecting parts is a second cavity and the other is a second block corresponding to the second cavity; and the engaging direction of the connecting parts is parallel to that of the auxiliary connecting parts.

The container with multiple chambers and multiple openings of claim 1, wherein the two bottles have a shared bottom cover; one of the connecting parts of the two bottles has two inner thread sections located on the two outer end surfaces of the shared bottom cover, and the other has two outer thread sections corresponding to the two inner thread sections located at the lower openings of the two bottles; and the two bottles are connected/separated along the axial direction via the inner and outer thread sections between the bottom cover and the lower openings.

6. The container with multiple chambers and multiple openings of claim 1, wherein the upper opening and the lower opening of each of the bottles have at least one filter extending toward the corresponding chamber.

7. The container with multiple chambers and multiple openings of claim 6, wherein each of the filters is disposed at the lower opening of the corresponding bottle and is urged and positioned by the corresponding bottom cover to the end edge of the corresponding lower opening.
