Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a display box, especially to a hand tool display box that provides better display and storage effects.

2. Description of the Prior Arts

Hand tool display boxes are used to display and store hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches or the like. A conventional hand tool display box comprises a base and a cover. The base has multiple recesses to receive hand tools. The cover corresponds to and covers the base to prevent the hand tools from falling or being lost.

However, the recesses of the base do not have any positioning structure to securely store the hand tools. The hand tools will easily fall off when the cover is detached from the base. Accordingly, it is inconvenient for users to take the hand tools from the conventional hand tool display box and another new storage box must be prepared if users need a better storage effect.

To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention provides a hand tool display box to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The main object of the present invention is to provide a hand tool display box that provides better display and storage effects.

The hand tool display box in accordance with the present invention comprises a bracket and multiple storing mounts. The bracket has a top edge, multiple mounting recesses and a hanging panel. The mounting recesses are formed in the bracket at intervals and each mounting recess has a recess rear surface, two opposite recess side surfaces, a positioning block and two first locking parts. Each recess side surface has a side edge being adjacent to the recess rear surface. The positioning block protrudes from the recess rear surface. The first locking parts are formed on the recess side surfaces. The hanging panel is connected to the top edge of the bracket and has a hanging hole to facilitate hanging the display box on a display rack. The storing mounts are connected pivotally to the bracket and each storing mount covers a corresponding mounting recess of the bracket and has two second locking parts and a clamping part. The second locking parts engage the first locking parts of the corresponding mounting recess. The clamping part is used for holding a hand tool. Therefore, the multiple storing mounts can hold different kinds of hand tools and users can conveniently take out a needed hand tool by opening one storing mount relative to the bracket.

Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, a hand tool display box in accordance with the present invention comprises a bracket 10 and multiple storing mounts 20.

The bracket 10 has a top edge, a rear surface, multiple mounting recesses 11, two positioning ribs 12 and a hanging panel 13. The mounting recesses 11 are formed longitudinally in the bracket 10 at intervals and each mounting recess 11 has a recess rear surface 110, two opposite recess side surfaces 111, a protrusion 112, a positioning block 113 and two first locking parts 114. The recess rear surface 110 has a top edge. Each recess side surface 111 has a side edge being adjacent to the recess rear surface 110. The protrusion 112 protrudes from the recess rear surface 110. The positioning block 113 protrudes from the protrusion 112. The first locking parts 114 are formed on lower sections of the recess side surfaces 111 distal from the recess rear surface 110. In a preferred embodiment, the first locking parts 114 are recesses.

With further reference to FIGS. 4 and 5, the positioning ribs 12 are respectively formed on and protrude from the top edge of the bracket 10. Each positioning rib 12 has a side surface and a positioning recess 120 formed in the side surface of the positioning rib 12. The hanging panel 13 is connected to the top edge of the bracket 10, is foldable relative to the bracket 10 and has an upper section, a bottom edge, a hanging hole 131 and two positioning openings 132. The hanging hole 131 is formed through the upper section of the hanging panel 13 to allow the display box to be hung on a display rack. The positioning openings 132 are respectively formed through the bottom edge of the hanging panel 13 to permit the positioning ribs 12 to be received therethrough. Each positioning opening 132 has an opening surface and a boss 133 protruding from the opening surface. When the display box is hung, the positioning ribs 12 are received in the positioning openings 132 of the hanging panel 13 and the bosses 133 of the hanging panel 13 engage the positioning recesses 120 of the positioning ribs 12. With reference to FIG. 6, when the hanging panel 13 is folded relative to the bracket 10 and is adjacent to the rear surface of the bracket 10, the positioning ribs 12 depart from the positioning openings 132 of the hanging panel 13 so that an area of the display box is reduced and to store or carry the display box is convenient.

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, The storing mount 20 are connected pivotally to the bracket 10 and each storing mount 20 covers a corresponding mounting recess 11 of the bracket 10 and has a top panel 21, a front panel 22, two second locking parts 220, a clamping part 23 and an abutting panel 24. The top panel 21 has a bottom surface, a moving edge and a pivoting edge mounted pivotally to the top edge of the recess rear surface 110 of the corresponding mounting recess 11. The front panel 22 is formed on and protrudes vertically downward from the moving edge of the top panel 21, faces the recess rear surface 110 of the corresponding mounting recess 11 and has two opposite side surfaces and a rear surface. The second locking parts 220 are formed on the side surfaces of the front panel 22 and engage the first locking parts 114 of the corresponding mounting recess 11. In the preferred embodiment, the second locking parts 220 are protrusions.

The clamping part 23 is mounted securely on the rear surface of the front panel 22 and is used for holding a hand tool 40. In the preferred embodiment, the clamping part 23 has two opposite holding panels 230. The holding panels 230 are formed on and protrude from the rear surface of the front panel 22 and each holding panel 230 is U-shaped and has an internal surface and two claws 231. The internal surfaces of the two opposite holding panels 230 face each other and each internal surface has a front edge and a rear edge. The claws 231 are respectively formed on and protrude from the front edge and the rear edge of the internal surface of the holding panel 230. The abutting panel 24 is formed on and protrudes vertically downward from the bottom surface of the top panel 21.

With reference to FIG. 2, the storing mounts 20 are used to hold hand tools 40. Each hand tool 40 has a handle 41 and a function part 42. The handle 41 has an annular groove 410. When the storing mount 20 is opened relative to the bracket 10, the handle 41 of the hand tool 40 can be inserted in the clamping part 23 to make the handle 41 of the hand tool 40 be clamped between the holding panels 230 and an end surface of the handle 41 abut the abutting panel 24. With reference to FIGS. 1, 3, 4 and 7, the storing mount 20 is then closed relative to the bracket 10 to make the annular groove 410 of the handle 41 engage the positioning block 113 of the bracket 10 and the second locking parts 220 of the storing mount 20 engage the first locking parts 114 of the bracket 10 so that the hand tool 40 can be securely mounted in the clamping part 23 and is prevented from falling. Meanwhile, the function parts 42 of the hand tools 40 protrude out of the display box so users can clearly know about types and sizes of the hand tools 40 and easily select the needed one. Users can take one of the hand tools 40 out of the holding panels 230 of the clamping part 23 by opening the storing mount 20 relative to the bracket 10 to make the annular groove 410 of the handle 41 disengage from the positioning block 113 of the bracket 10. Therefore, the hand tool display box in accordance with the present invention provides better display and storage effects as compared with the conventional hand tool display box.

Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and features of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only.
