Combination Drawer that is Assembled and Disassembled Easily and Quickly

A combination drawer includes a bottom plate, two side plates foldably mounted on the bottom plate, a rear plate foldably mounted on the bottom plate and detachably connected with the side plates, and a front plate disposed on the bottom plate and detachably connected with the side plates. Thus, the front plate, the side plates and the rear plate are combined and detached easily and quickly so that the combination drawer is assembled and disassembled easily and quickly. In addition, the parts of the combination drawer can be detached and folded before assembly or when not in use so as to reduce the whole volume of storage and packaging and to decrease the cost of packaging, storage and transportation of the combination drawer.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a drawer and, more particularly, to a combination drawer.

2. Description of the Related Art

A conventional drawer comprises a bottom plate, two side plates secured on two opposite ends of the bottom plate, a front plate secured on a front side of the bottom plate, and a rear plate secured on a rear side of the bottom plate. However, the parts of the conventional drawer are fixed and cannot be folded or detached before assembly or when not in use so that the conventional drawer has a larger volume of storage and packaging, thereby greatly increasing the cost of packaging, storage and transportation of the conventional drawer. In addition, the parts of the conventional drawer are combined together by bonding or screwing so that the conventional drawer is not assembled and disassembled easily and quickly.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a combination drawer, comprising a bottom plate, two side plates foldably mounted on the bottom plate, a rear plate foldably mounted on the bottom plate and detachably connected with the side plates, and a front plate disposed on the bottom plate and detachably connected with the side plates.

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a combination drawer that is assembled and disassembled easily and quickly.

According to the primary advantage of the present invention, the front plate, the side plates and the rear plate are combined and detached easily and quickly so that the combination drawer is assembled and disassembled easily and quickly so as to facilitate the user assembling and disassembling the combination drawer.

According to another advantage of the present invention, the parts of the combination drawer can be detached and folded before assembly or when not in use so as to reduce the whole volume of storage and packaging and to decrease the cost of packaging, storage and transportation of the combination drawer.

Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-6, a combination drawer in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a bottom plate 1, two side plates 12 foldably mounted on the bottom plate 1, a rear plate 14 foldably mounted on the bottom plate 1 and detachably connected with the side plates 12, and a front plate 2 disposed on the bottom plate 1 and detachably connected with the side plates 12.

The bottom plate 1 has a periphery provided with a first folding portion 11. The side plates 12 are located at two opposite ends of the bottom plate 1. Each of the side plates 12 has a periphery provided with a second folding portion 121 combined with the first folding portion 11 of the bottom plate 1. Each of the side plates 12 has two opposite ends each provided with at least one fixing piece 13. The fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12 has a surface provided with a fixing slot 131.

The front plate 2 is located at a front side of the bottom plate 1 and is located opposite to the rear plate 14. The front plate 2 is disposed between the side plates 12 and abuts the bottom plate 1 so that the front plate 2 is removable from the bottom plate 1 and the side plates 12. The front plate 2 has two opposite ends each provided with at least one locking piece 21 detachably locked onto the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12. The locking piece 21 of the front plate 2 is flexible and bendable. The locking piece 21 of the front plate 2 is inserted through and locked onto the fixing slot 131 of the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12.

The rear plate 14 is located at a rear side of the bottom plate 1. The rear plate 14 is disposed between the side plates 12. The rear plate 14 has a periphery provided with a third folding portion 141 combined with the first folding portion 11 of the bottom plate 1. The rear plate 14 has two opposite ends each provided with at least one fastening piece 142 detachably locked onto the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12. The fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 is flexible and bendable. The fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 is inserted through and locked onto the fixing slot 131 of the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12.

In assembly, each of the side plates 12 is bent and folded upward relative to the bottom plate 1. Then, the fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 is bent upward and is perpendicular to the rear plate 14. Then, the rear plate 14 is bent and folded upward relative to the bottom plate 1, and the fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 is inserted through the fixing slot 131 of the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12. Then, the fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 is bent inward and locked onto the fixing slot 131 of the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12. Thus, the rear plate 14 is locked between the side plates 12. Then, the locking piece 21 of the front plate 2 is bent upward and is perpendicular to the front plate 2. Then, the front plate 2 is moved toward the side plates 12, and the locking piece 21 of the front plate 2 is inserted through the fixing slot 131 of the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12. Then, the locking piece 21 of the front plate 2 is bent inward and locked onto the fixing slot 131 of the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12. Thus, the front plate 2 is locked between the side plates 12.

On the contrary, when the user wishes to detach the combination drawer, the locking piece 21 of the front plate 2 is bent outward and is perpendicular to the front plate 2. Then, the locking piece 21 of the front plate 2 is detached from the fixing slot 131 of the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12 to detach the front plate 2 from each of the side plates 12. Then, the fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 is bent outward and is perpendicular to the front plate 2. Then, the fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 is detached from the fixing slot 131 of the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12 to detach the rear plate 14 from each of the side plates 12. Then, the rear plate 14 is bent outward and is in line with the bottom plate 1. Then, each of the side plates 12 is bent outward and is in line with the bottom plate 1.

Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8 with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, each of the side plates 12 has a first end provided with at least one fixing piece 13 and a second end provided with at least one fixing hole 122. The fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12 has a surface provided with a fixing slot 131. The front plate 2 has two opposite ends each provided with at least one locking piece 21 detachably locked onto the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12. The locking piece 21 of the front plate 2 is flexible and bendable. The locking piece 21 of the front plate 2 is inserted through and locked onto the fixing slot 131 of the respective fixing piece 13 of each of the side plates 12. The rear plate 14 has two opposite ends each provided with at least one fastening piece 142 detachably locked onto each of the side plates 12. The fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 abuts each of the side plates 12 and has a surface provided with a fixing bore 143 aligning with the fixing hole 122 of each of the side plates 12.

The combination drawer further comprises at least two fastening bolts 4 each extended through the fixing bore 143 of the fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 and the fixing hole 122 of each of the side plates 12, and at least two fastening nuts 3 each screwed onto each of the fastening bolts 4 to combine the rear plate 14 with each of the side plates 12. Each of the fastening bolts 4 abuts the fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 so that the fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 is located between each of the fastening bolts 4 and each of the side plates 12. Each of the fastening bolts 4 has a side provided with a threaded rod 41. Each of the fastening nuts 3 abuts each of the side plates 12 so that each of the side plates 12 is located between the fastening piece 142 of the rear plate 14 and each of the fastening nuts 3. Each of the fastening nuts 3 is partially inserted into the fixing hole 122 of each of the side plates 12 and has an interior provided with a screw bore 31 screwed onto the threaded rod 41 of each of the fastening bolts 4.

Accordingly, the front plate 2, the side plates 12 and the rear plate 14 are combined and detached easily and quickly so that the combination drawer is assembled and disassembled easily and quickly so as to facilitate the user assembling and disassembling the combination drawer. In addition, the parts of the combination drawer can be detached and folded before assembly or when not in use so as to reduce the whole volume of storage and packaging and to decrease the cost of packaging, storage and transportation of the combination drawer.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A combination drawer, comprising:

a bottom plate;
two side plates foldably mounted on the bottom plate;
a rear plate foldably mounted on the bottom plate and detachably connected with the side plates; and
a front plate disposed on the bottom plate and detachably connected with the side plates.

2. The combination drawer of claim 1, wherein

each of the side plates has two opposite ends each provided with at least one fixing piece;
the front plate has two opposite ends each provided with at least one locking piece detachably locked onto the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates;
the rear plate has two opposite ends each provided with at least one fastening piece detachably locked onto the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates.

3. The combination drawer of claim 2, wherein

the fixing piece of each of the side plates has a surface provided with a fixing slot;
the locking piece of the front plate is inserted through and locked onto the fixing slot of the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates;
the fastening piece of the rear plate is inserted through and locked onto the fixing slot of the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates.

4. The combination drawer of claim 3, wherein

the locking piece of the front plate is flexible and bendable;
the fastening piece of the rear plate is flexible and bendable.

5. The combination drawer of claim 1, wherein

the bottom plate has a periphery provided with a first folding portion;
each of the side plates has a periphery provided with a second folding portion combined with the first folding portion of the bottom plate;
the rear plate has a periphery provided with a third folding portion combined with the first folding portion of the bottom plate.

6. The combination drawer of claim 1, wherein

the side plates are located at two opposite ends of the bottom plate;
the front plate is located at a front side of the bottom plate and is located opposite to the rear plate;
the front plate is disposed between the side plates and abuts the bottom plate so that the front plate is removable from the bottom plate and the side plates;
the rear plate is located at a rear side of the bottom plate;
the rear plate is disposed between the side plates.

7. The combination drawer of claim 3, wherein

when the combination drawer is assembled, each of the side plates is bent and folded upward relative to the bottom plate;
the fastening piece of the rear plate is bent upward and is perpendicular to the rear plate;
the rear plate is bent and folded upward relative to the bottom plate;
the fastening piece of the rear plate is inserted through the fixing slot of the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates;
the fastening piece of the rear plate is bent inward and locked onto the fixing slot of the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates;
the locking piece of the front plate is bent upward and is perpendicular to the front plate;
the front plate is moved toward the side plates;
the locking piece of the front plate is inserted through the fixing slot of the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates;
the locking piece of the front plate is bent inward and locked onto the fixing slot of the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates.

8. The combination drawer of claim 3, wherein

when the combination drawer is disassembled, the locking piece of the front plate is bent outward and is perpendicular to the front plate;
the locking piece of the front plate is detached from the fixing slot of the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates to detach the front plate from each of the side plates;
the fastening piece of the rear plate is bent outward and is perpendicular to the front plate;
the fastening piece of the rear plate is detached from the fixing slot of the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates to detach the rear plate from each of the side plates;
the rear plate is bent outward and is in line with the bottom plate;
each of the side plates is bent outward and is in line with the bottom plate.

9. The combination drawer of claim 1, wherein

each of the side plates has a first end provided with at least one fixing piece;
the front plate has two opposite ends each provided with at least one locking piece detachably locked onto the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates;
the rear plate has two opposite ends each provided with at least one fastening piece detachably locked onto each of the side plates.

10. The combination drawer of claim 9, wherein

the fixing piece of each of the side plates has a surface provided with a fixing slot;
the locking piece of the front plate is flexible and bendable;
the locking piece of the front plate is inserted through and locked onto the fixing slot of the respective fixing piece of each of the side plates.

11. The combination drawer of claim 9, wherein

each of the side plates has a second end provided with at least one fixing hole;
the fastening piece of the rear plate has a surface provided with a fixing bore aligning with the fixing hole of each of the side plates;
the combination drawer further comprises:
at least two fastening bolts each extended through the fixing bore of the fastening piece of the rear plate and the fixing hole of each of the side plates; and
at least two fastening nuts each screwed onto each of the fastening bolts to combine the rear plate with each of the side plates.

12. The combination drawer of claim 11, wherein

each of the fastening bolts has a side provided with a threaded rod;
each of the fastening nuts has an interior provided with a screw bore screwed onto the threaded rod of each of the fastening bolts.

13. The combination drawer of claim 11, wherein

each of the fastening bolts 4 abuts the fastening piece of the rear plate so that the fastening piece of the rear plate is located between each of the fastening bolts and each of the side plates;
each of the fastening nuts abuts each of the side plates so that each of the side plates is located between the fastening piece of the rear plate and each of the fastening nuts.

14. The combination drawer of claim 11, wherein each of the fastening nuts is partially inserted into the fixing hole of each of the side plates.

15. The combination drawer of claim 9, wherein the fastening piece of the rear plate abuts each of the side plates.
