The arrangement includes a connection element and a wall element which is fixed on the sliding bottom, and a connection element which can be mounted on the sliding bottom and connected with a pull-out slide. The wall element is pivotally connected on the sliding bottom. A catch device formed on the connection element holds the wall element in a mounting position. Preferably, an attachment on the connection element has a recess and a stop for the wall element. This construction simplifies the mounting of a drawer and reduces the manufacturing, costs because only a small number of components are required.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2000Date of Patent: November 19, 2002Assignee: Paul Hettich GmbH & Co.Inventors: Ralf Müterthies, Stefan Rüter, Carsten Meyer, Gerhard Schröder, Jörg Aufderheide

Patent number: 6474761Abstract: A mounting unit used for fastening a drawer to a pull-out slide formed of several rails which are displaceably disposed with respect to one another. The mounting unit has several connection elements, each having horizontally extending upper supporting edge which can be connected, at least partially, with an upper edge of an upper rail of the pull-out slide. Each connecting element also includes a downward extending center section and a horizontally extending bottom section on which the sliding bottom is at least partially held. This approximately Z-shaped construction distributes stress well, and reduces costs of manufacture because the connection elements are identical and can be used for the right and left side of a drawer.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2000Date of Patent: November 5, 2002Assignee: Paul Hettich GmbH & Co.Inventors: Ralf Müterthies, Stefan Rüter, Carsten Meyer, Gerhard Schröder, Jörg Aufderheide

Patent number: 6457791Abstract: A fastening arrangement, particularly for front panels of drawers, has a fastening element which can be fastened on a rail of a pull-out slide, and a holding part which can be connected with a front panel. The holding part is prefixed relative to the fastening element such that an adjustment of the holding part with respect to the fastening element can be made into a first horizontal or vertical direction. The holding part is held on the fastening element by the prefixing in an original or adjusted position and can also be locked in a desired position. In addition, the holding part is held relative to the fastening element to be prefixed and adjustable into a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. For the prefixing, the fastening arrangement has a snap-type device, a catch device and an eccentric device.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2000Date of Patent: October 1, 2002Assignee: Paul Hettich GmbH & Co.Inventors: Ralf Müterthies, Stefan Rüter, Carsten Meyer, Gerhard Schröder, Jörg Aufderheide, Rolf Mertes

Patent number: 6454371Abstract: A pull-out slide is used for fastening a drawer sliding bottom on a side wall of a stationary furniture body. The set has a carrying rail which can be connected with a holding part. The holding part can be fixedly connected with a furniture body. In addition, the set includes at least one slide rail which can slide with respect to the carrying rail, and which can be connected with the drawer sliding bottom. The carrying rail can be locked by a releasable locking mechanism on the holding part, in order to restrict movement in the direction of the carrying rail. The locking mechanism can lock the carrying rail onto the holding part, either in a first direction and/or a second direction, each direction being perpendicular to the carrying rail. Unlocking of the locking mechanism permits removal of the carrying rail and drawer sliding bottom as a unit from the holding part. The pull-out slide set with the sliding bottom is easily and rapidly mounted and demounted.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2000Date of Patent: September 24, 2002Assignee: Paul Hetttich GmbH & Co.Inventors: Ralf Müterthies, Stefan Rüter, Carsten Meyer, Gerhard Schröder, Jörg Aufderheide

Patent number: 6443544Abstract: A slidable drawer compartment has parallel side members with elongated bores on the bottom edge therein to slidably receive a support rail. A horizontal slot on the inner side of the side member extends the full length of the side member. The edges of a bottom member are received in the horizontal slot. Also, the inner sides of the side members have vertical slots at each end of the side members that dwell in a substantially vertical plane. A pair of panels are received in the vertical slots of the side members engaging the ends of the bottom member to close the compartment.Type: GrantFiled: May 23, 2000Date of Patent: September 3, 2002Assignee: Astoria Industries of Iowa, Inc.Inventors: Robert J. Patent number: 6419333Abstract: A knock-down file cabinet and in particular, a vertical file cabinet wherein both the cabinet housing and each of the drawers have a knock-down construction. The drawers use either separate components that are slidably fitted together, or a single sheet of material that defines the bottom, side and back walls. Each drawer construction is usable within the cabinet housing so as to define a complete knock-down vertical file cabinet which can be readily shipped in a relatively, compact container or package and thereafter assembled together.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2001Date of Patent: July 16, 2002Assignee: Haworth, Inc.Inventors: Frederick C.
