The track assembly is released to securely engage the opposing rack members and locked in position.

Abstract: Disclosed is a pinched rail guide system which is comprised of a pair of guide rails 18 exteriorly jointed to the parallel side walls 20 of a drawer 16 or the like. There are two sets of three guide rollers 14 positioned so that two of the guide rollers 24 are beneath the guide rail 18 and supporting the drawer-like member 16. The third guide roller 26 is stationed to engage the top of the guide rail 18 and which location is of paramount importance to the present invention 10. Sets of guide rollers 14 can be mounted to the structural drawer-like holding member 16 by individually fixedly mounting each guide roller 14 to the structural drawer-like holding frame member 12 according to the aforementioned prescribed method or each set 14 can be fixedly mounted to a guide roller plate member 40 Drawer stops 30 are located on the top rear section of the rails 38 and are milled into wooden rails 18 and are formed into metal rails 18.

Abstract: A drawer for hanging file folders, which is formed from a drawer subassembly including an elongate drawer plank to which is attached, along a longitudinal edge thereof, an elongate plastic or metal support rail from which hanging file folders may be hung. The drawer subassembly is subsequently folded about a plurality of hinge portions therein which are common to the drawer plank and to the support rail, and a base panel is captured within the drawer subassembly as same is folded to define a drawer including a base panel surrounded by a plurality of vertical walls from which hanging file folders may be hung. The attachment of the support rail to the drawer plank prior to forming the hinge portions in the drawer subassembly and folding same to form the drawer obviates the need to separately attach multiple components of a file folder hanging structure to the drawer walls after the drawer is formed.

  • Patent number: 6481813
Abstract: A fastening arrangement used for fastening a rear-side wall element of a drawer to a sliding drawer bottom. The arrangement includes a connection element and a wall element which is fixed on the sliding bottom, and a connection element which can be mounted on the sliding bottom and connected with a pull-out slide. The wall element is pivotally connected on the sliding bottom. A catch device formed on the connection element holds the wall element in a mounting position. Preferably, an attachment on the connection element has a recess and a stop for the wall element. This construction simplifies the mounting of a drawer and reduces the manufacturing, costs because only a small number of components are required.

  • Patent number: 6474761
Abstract: A mounting unit used for fastening a drawer to a pull-out slide formed of several rails which are displaceably disposed with respect to one another. The mounting unit has several connection elements, each having horizontally extending upper supporting edge which can be connected, at least partially, with an upper edge of an upper rail of the pull-out slide. Each connecting element also includes a downward extending center section and a horizontally extending bottom section on which the sliding bottom is at least partially held. This approximately Z-shaped construction distributes stress well, and reduces costs of manufacture because the connection elements are identical and can be used for the right and left side of a drawer.

Abstract: A pull-out slide is used for fastening a drawer sliding bottom on a side wall of a stationary furniture body. The set has a carrying rail which can be connected with a holding part. The holding part can be fixedly connected with a furniture body. In addition, the set includes at least one slide rail which can slide with respect to the carrying rail, and which can be connected with the drawer sliding bottom. The carrying rail can be locked by a releasable locking mechanism on the holding part, in order to restrict movement in the direction of the carrying rail. The locking mechanism can lock the carrying rail onto the holding part, either in a first direction and/or a second direction, each direction being perpendicular to the carrying rail. Unlocking of the locking mechanism permits removal of the carrying rail and drawer sliding bottom as a unit from the holding part. The pull-out slide set with the sliding bottom is easily and rapidly mounted and demounted.
