CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION(S)

This application claims the benefit of Korean Patent Application No. 10-2010-0070877, filed on Jul. 22, 2010 in the Korean Intellectual Property Office, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference.

FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention relates to functional male underpants, and more particularly, relates to functional male underpants in which a penis and scrotum of a wearer thereof are supported so as not to be in contact with an inguinal region of the wearer and good ventilation is achieved therein.

BACKGROUND

Generally, underwear serves as skin protection, sweat absorption, warming and/or correction of a body shape, etc and has various materials and/or shapes depending on types of functions. Especially, underpants as one kind of the underwear protect a sexual organ and anal of a man and/or woman and are worn for the sake of hygiene. In addition to such functions of the underpants, the underpants function to absorb or eliminate sweat, humidity and/or smell generated from the sexual organ and/or the anal.

However, the underpants blocks ventilation and thus sweats or humidity result in eczema or bacterial disease at the sexual organ or anal. Further, since at the inguinal region, a thigh and a lower abdomen are in a contact with each other and thus ventilation is poor at the region, skin trouble may more likely occur at the inguinal region.

A man where the penis and scrotum protrude may have less skin trouble than a woman. Nonetheless, in case of the man, a penis and a skin of the scrotum are in a contact with each other, and the scrotum and the thigh are in a contact with each other at the inguinal region, when the ventilation is poor, leading to a scrotum eczema or herpes, etc.

To solve this problem, the conventional art of the underpants is disclosed to prevent the contact between the penis and the scrotum. For example, there are disclosed male functional underpants of Korean registered utility model Number 20-215430, male underpants of Korean registered utility model Number 20-266095, a removable scrotum bag of Korean registered utility model Number 20-424915, and multi-functional triangular or rectangular underpants of Korean registered utility model Number 20-368115.

Such conventional disclosures all are directed to a structure or configuration to provide good ventilation for the penis and/or scrotum. However, in the conventional disclosures, it is difficult to put on or off the underpants. Moreover, in terms of ventilation, health improvement or sexual functional enhancement, they exhibit poor performance. Further, they may be uncomfortable in wearing. In the conventional disclosures, when relieving himself, it is difficult to draw the penis out of the underpants, and after relieving himself, urine may remain on the penis and scrotum, leading to uncleanness.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

The present disclosure is conceived in consideration of the foregoing and has an object to provide functional male underpants in which the penis and the scrotum may be separated from each other and good ventilation may be achieved therein to maintain optimal temperature for the penis and scrotum.

Moreover, the present disclosure has another object to functional male underpants to provide more cleanness via hygiene-enabling configuration and to suppress the occurrence of various skin ailments by enabling the penis and the scrotum of a man to be easily ventilated, improve wearing feeling by allowing the penis and the scrotum move freely, improve sexual health by maintaining an optimal temperature in the scrotum, and also promote the health of men.

Below, functional male underpants in accordance with the present disclosure may be in details described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a configuration of functional male underpants having a scrotum bag, according to the present disclosure. This underpants includes an underpants body 1 and a scrotum bag 10 disposed within the body 1 at a central region thereof. The scrotum bag 10 is coupled to the body 1 at a front thereof via length-adjustment bands 11 and 11a and to the body 1 at a rear thereof via a fastening band 15. Each of the length-adjustment bands 11 and 11a has one end fixed to the front upper side of the body 1 and the other end fixed to the upper portion of the scrotum bag 10 by means of sewing. The fastening band 15 has one end fixed to the rear upper portion of the scrotum bag 10 and the other end fixed to a region between the upper and middle of the rear portion of the body 1 via sewing. The scrotum bag 10, length-adjustment bands 11 and 11a and the fastening band 15 may be made of a cotton material or other materials not sensitive to the skin of the wearer.

The underpants may include a friction member 53 lined on or integrally sewed to a front portion of the body 1, the member 53 having a predetermined size. The friction member 53 may be made of rough-surface fabrics including a ramie or hemp fabric.

As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the scrotum bag 10 fixes a man's scrotum such that the scrotum is inserted from a top thereof and is not in contact with a thigh. The scrotum bag 10 may be roughly in a cylindrical shape. The scrotum bag 10 is configured so that a top and bottom thereof are open in such a manner that ventilation is achieved for the scrotum. The length-adjustment bands 11 and 11a and the fastening band 15 are coupled to the periphery of the upper end of the scrotum bag 10 by mean of, for example, sewing. An opening/closing member 41, 42 including buttons and rings may be disposed at an outer perimeter of the scrotum bag 10 to open/close the scrotum bag at a lower portion thereof. When the member 41 and 42 is in a closed state, this member may support the scrotum 3. The opening/closing member 41 and 42 may be selectively opened or closed depending on the needs of the user. The opening/closing member 41 and 42 may be implemented by a zipper or Velcro type fastener. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.

The length adjustment member 11 and 11a are connected between the underpants body 1 and the scrotum bag 10 to adjust a vertical location of the scrotum bag 10. That is, since men have different vertical locations of the scrotum, the user may adjust the vertical location of the scrotum bag 10 in accordance with his body condition using the length adjustment member 11 and 11a. The length adjustment member 11 and 11a may adjust the vertical location of the scrotum bag 10 by means of clips 12 and/or rings 13.

The fastening band 15 extends on the anal region and may have a large width so that butt cheeks of a user are not in contact with each other. This prevents the underpants body 1 or pants from being fitted into between the butt cheeks of the user. The fastening band 15 may be made of an elastic member to be enlarged or shortened via the elastic force.

A first pocket 20 is coupled to the front of the scrotum bag 10 via sewing. The first pocket 20 is integrally combined with the front of the scrotum bag 10 at an upper portion thereof, so that the scrotum is not in contact with a man's penis. A bent concave portion corresponding to a cross-sectional shape of the penis is formed at a connection between the scrotum bag 10 and the first pocket 20 so as to support the penis having a circular shape. The underpants may include a shape-retaining member 25 at a connection portion between the underpants body 1 and the first pocket 20, the member 25 being in a concave shape to support the penis. The shape-retaining member 25 may be made of an alloy to keep its original shape depending on temperature, or magnet or rubber material. With this configuration, when relieving himself, it is easy to draw the penis out of the underpants, and after relieving himself, urine may not remain on the penis and scrotum, leading to cleanness.

Second and third pockets 21, 22 are integrally combined with left and right sides of the scrotum bag 10 respectively at an upper portion thereof, so that the scrotum and the thigh are not in contact with each other.

Each of the first to third pockets 20 and 22 may have a predetermined size space therein to receive an anti-humidity member 51 and/or a functional auxiliary agent 50, the functional auxiliary agent functioning to facilitate circulation of energy and blood of a human body. The anti-humidity member 51 may absorb humidity using active carbon, charcoal particles or anti-humidity agent, etc. The functional auxiliary agent 50 may include magnet, jade, ceramic or aromatic, etc in a plate form or particle form. The functional auxiliary agent 50 may serve to circulate blood and energy, emit far-infrared rays or fragrance for the penis and scrotum and may be selectively inserted into the pockets depending on need of the user.

The underpants may include a spacing member 30 to provide a predetermined spacing between each of the first to third pockets 20 and 22 and the scrotum bag 10. The spacing member 30 may be made of a cloth to maintain its original shape or a stiff fabric, etc to serve as spacing and cushioning. The spacing member 30 may be provided as multiple-layers in a zig-zag connected manner between each of the first to third pockets 20 and 22 and the scrotum bag 10.

The surface of the each of the first to third pockets 20 and 22 may be embossed. In particular, the embossing structure may include a protrusion made of the magnet or rubber, etc.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of main components of the scrotum bag 10 according to the present disclosure. In this figure, the anti-humidity member 51 is received in each of the first to third pockets 20 and 22, and the opening/closing member 41 and 42 is in a closed state at a lower portion of the scrotum bag 10 using the buttons 41 and rings 42. In an alternative manner, the opening/closing member 41 and 42 may get into an open/close state using a rubber string disposed at a lower portion of the scrotum bag 10.

FIG. 5 is a side view of a state in which a user wears the functional male underpants having the scrotum bag 10, according to the present disclosure. In this figure, the scrotum 3 is received in the scrotum bag 10, and the penis 2 is exposed at a front of the scrotum bag 10. The vertical position of the scrotum bag 10 may be adjusted using the length-adjustment bands 11 and 11a at both sides of an inner front of the underpants body 1. The fastening band 15 may extends on the anal region so that butt cheeks of a user are not in contact with each other. This prevents the underpants body 1 or pants from being fitted into between the butt cheeks of the user. That is, the fastening band 15 may be inserted between the butt cheeks of the user. Depending on needs of the user, the opening/closing member 41 and 42 may be in a closed/opened state at a lower portion of the scrotum bag 10 using the buttons 41 and rings 42. That is, the user may open or close a lower portion of the scrotum bag 10 using the member 41 and 42.

The first pocket 20 integrally combined with the front of the scrotum bag 10 at an upper portion thereof may allow the scrotum 3 not to be in contact with a man's penis 2 with spacing them from each other. The second and third pockets 21, 22 integrally combined with left and right sides of the scrotum bag 10 respectively at an upper portion thereof may allow the scrotum 3 and the thigh not to be in contact with each other at an inguinal region with spacing them from each other. In the inguinal region, aorta passes though a proximal portion of the thigh, and hence the scrotum may tend to be heated in the region. Therefore, it may be necessary to allow the scrotum 3 and the thigh not to be in contact with each other at the inguinal region with spacing them from each other via the second and third pockets 21, 22.

FIG. 6 is a perspective view of another embodiment of a scrotum bag according to the present disclosure. In this embodiment, the scrotum bag 10 is made of a mesh or a cloth of a porous material. This improves the ventilation of the scrotum bag 10, to keep the scrotum 3 at optimal temperature or in a fresh manner. Further, the first to third pockets 20 and 22 coupled to the scrotum bag 10 may be made of a mesh or a cloth of a porous material.

In this way, the functional male underpants in accordance with the present disclosure may have various functions depending on selective use of the anti-humidity or functional auxiliary agent. Further, good ventilation may be provided between the scrotum and penis and/or between the scrotum and the thigh in the inguinal region, to prevent skin disease. Using the first pocket, when relieving himself, it may be easy to draw the penis out of the underpants, and after relieving himself, urine may not remain on the scrotum, leading to cleanness. Further, the present underpants may allow the scrotum to be kept below a given temperature, that is, at an optimal temperature, to improve sexual performance. Further, in accordance with present disclosure, it may be easy to put on and off the underpants and may be more comfortable to wear the same compared to the conventional functional underpants.

INDUSTRIAL ABILITY

According to the present disclosure, the penis and the scrotum may be separated from each other and good ventilation may be achieved therein to maintain optimal temperature for the penis and scrotum. Moreover, the functional male underpants may provide more cleanness via hygiene-enabling configuration and suppress the occurrence of various skin ailments by enabling the penis and the scrotum of a man to be easily ventilated, improve wearing feeling by allowing the penis and the scrotum move freely, improve sexual health by maintaining an optimal temperature in the scrotum, and also promote the health of men.
