Balancing exerciser combination
A balancing exerciser combination includes a balancing exerciser disposed on a base and having a foot support for supporting a user and for allowing the user to conduct a balancing exercise, a column attached to the base and extended upwardly from the base, and a handle mounted on the column for supporting an upper portion of the user and for allowing the user, such as the young, the elder, the children or the beginner to easily and safely and stably operate or conduct the balancing exercises or operations. The balancing exerciser includes a rounded bottom member supported on the base for being tilted relative to the base, and the foot support is attached on the bottom member.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a balancing exerciser, and more particularly to a balancing exerciser combination including a supporting stand or device for supporting the user and for allowing the user to easily and safely and stably operate or conduct the balancing exercises or operations.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Typical tilting or balancing exercisers comprise a disk or plate or foot support for supporting a user thereon, and a curved or rounded member attached to the bottom of the foot support and for attempting to maintain the disk or plate or foot support in a horizontal position or status, or for allowing the user to conduct the balancing exercises or operations.
For example, U.S. Pat. No. 5,092,586 to Tuthill et al. discloses one of the typical disk balancing exercisers comprising a disk or plate or foot support with threaded hole in its center for threading or engaging with the threaded bolt or screw which includes a hemispherical shoe attached to the bottom portion thereof for pivotally engaging with a supporting surface or ground and for allowing the typical disk balancing exercisers to be operated to maintain the foot support in a horizontal position or status, and for conducting the balancing exercises or operations.
However, the threaded bolt or screw and the foot support may be inclined or tilted a lot relative to the supporting surface or ground, and the users, particularly the elders and the children may feel afraid and may not use or operate the typical disk balancing exercisers.
U.S. Pat. No. 7,635,325 to Chiang et al. discloses a further typical interactive training device comprising an operation unit including an immovable base, a movable plate, and a supporting member disposed between the immovable base and the movable plate.
However, the tilting operation or the inclination of the movable plate is limited by the supporting member that may not be easily twisted or inclined or tilted relative to the supporting surface or ground, and the movable plate may not freely pivoted or rotated relative to the immovable base to conduct the balancing exercises or operations. Similarly, the elders and the children or the beginners may feel afraid and may not use or operate the typical disk balancing exercisers.
The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional balancing exercisers.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe primary objective of the present invention is to provide a balancing exerciser combination including a supporting stand or device for supporting the user and for allowing the user to easily and safely and stably operate or conduct the balancing exercises or operations.
In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided a balancing exerciser combination comprising a base, a balancing exerciser disposed on the base and including a foot support for supporting a user thereon and for allowing the user to conduct a balancing exercise, a column attached to the base and extended upwardly from the base, and a handle mounted on the column for supporting an upper portion of the user and for allowing the user to easily and safely and stably operate or conduct the balancing exercises or operations.
The balancing exerciser includes a rounded bottom member supported on the base for being tilted or inclined relative to the base, and the foot support is attached on the bottom member for supporting the user thereon.
The balancing exerciser includes a sensor for sensing a movement of the balancing exerciser. The balancing exerciser includes a controlling member electrically connected to the sensor wirelessly or with coupling wires or cables for receiving detected signals from the sensor.
A control device may further be provided and supported on the handle and connected to the controlling member for receiving an information from the controlling member. The column includes an extendible structure having at least two rods selectively coupled together.
The base includes a cushion, and the balancing exerciser is disposed on the cushion of the base. The base includes a space formed therein for receiving and engaging with the cushion. The base includes a frame having two segments, and a plate attached to the segments for forming the space in the base and for receiving and engaging with the cushion.
The segments are perpendicular to each other. The frame includes a third segment connected to the segments for forming an N-shaped structure. The column is extended upwardly from the third segment of the base.
Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of the detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to the drawings, and initially to
A column 20 includes one or more (such as two) rods 21, 22 selectively or adjustably secured or connected or coupled together for forming or defining a retractable, changeable, adjustable or extendible structure, and includes a lower end 23 attached or mounted or secured to the immovable base 10, such as attached to the extension or segment 14 of the frame 11 of the immovable base 10, and the column 20 is thus extended upwardly from the extension or segment 14 of the frame 11 of the immovable base 10, and is retractable or changeable or adjustable or extendible to different length or height according to the height of the users, such as for the young or children, the adults, or the elders, etc. A hand grip or handle 25 is disposed or attached or mounted or secured on the upper portion 24 of the column 20 for supporting the upper portion of the user 8 (
A balancing exerciser 30 is disposed or attached or mounted or supported on the immovable base 10, such as supported on the cushion 17 of the immovable base 10, and includes a semi-spherical or curved or rounded bottom member 31 disposed or attached or mounted or supported on the cushion 17 of the immovable base 10 for being tilted or inclined or pivotal relative to the immovable base 10, and includes a foot support 32 disposed or attached or mounted or secured on the bottom member 31 for supporting the user 8 thereon (
A processor or control panel or control device 35 may further be provided and attached or mounted or secured or engaged or supported on the upper portion 24 of the column 20 or supported on the handle 25 and wirelessly or electrically connected or coupled to the controlling member 34 and/or the sensor 33 for receiving the detected signals or information from the controlling member 34 and/or the sensor 33, in which the controlling member 34 and the sensor 33 are wirelessly or electrically connected or coupled together, and for example, the controlling member 34 may receive the detected signals or information from the sensor 33 and may send or transmit the detected and/or processed signals or information to the control device 35, and the control device 35 may show or indicate or display the received and/or processed signals or information to the user. A cover or hood 36 may further be provided and attached or mounted or secured onto the foot support 32 for covering or shielding or protecting the controlling member 34 and the sensor 33.
In operation, as shown in
Accordingly, the balancing exerciser combination in accordance with the present invention includes a supporting stand or device for supporting the user and for allowing the user to easily and safely and stably operate or conduct the balancing exercises or operations.
Although this invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is to be understood that the present disclosure has been made by way of example only and that numerous changes in the detailed construction and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
