Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a fully laminated flexible ventilation duct, which is used in the ventilation systems in order to convey the conditioned air into the spaces to be subject to air conditioning, wherein said ventilation duct is self heat-insulating and has a flexible structure.

Prior Art

At the present, the flexible ventilation ducts are made from materials like aluminum, polyester, opp, pvc, in our country and abroad. Said flexible ducts are isolated with glass wool and/or other materials in order to provide the sound and/or heat insulation. Following this isolation process, a jacket is fitted on the duct.

Until the present, several isolation steps and the use of an intermediate product have been required in order to manufacture the insulated flexible pipes. Due to these intermediate products being employed, the manufacturing cost increases for the finished flexible ducts. In addition, as said isolation steps take place within a long period of time, they lead also the labor cost to be added to the product.

The product according to the invention has been obtained by performing an improvement in the ventilation ducts in order to eliminate the existing disadvantages.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The object of the present invention is to provide that flexible ventilation duct developed has the feature of self heat-insulation. In order to provide the heat insulation, an insulating layer is employed between the inner coating layer and the outer coating layer of the ventilation duct according to the invention. Said insulating layer is preferably manufactured from polyethylene foam, but in addition to this material, it is also possible to use any insulation material like rubber, fiberglass, glass wool as the insulating layer.

Owing to the ventilation duct according to the invention, the lamination of the insulating layer is directly provided by means of heat and/or an adhesive chemical, without using a separate isolation step. In this way, the product cost is enabled to be reduced in terms of both material and labor.

The ventilation duct according to the invention has made it possible to reduce the product cost in terms of both material and labor. Further, since the duct occupies a smaller volume, it becomes easier to handle and it occupies less space as the field of use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a fully laminated flexible ventilation duct, which is used in the ventilation systems in order to convey the conditioned air into the spaces to be subject to air conditioning, wherein said ventilation duct is self heat-insulating and has a flexible structure.

The ventilation duct according to the invention is comprised by the steel wire (1), insulating layer (2), inner coating layer (3) and outer coating layer (4).

The exterior surface of the ventilation duct is covered with an outer coating layer (4). As the outer coating layer (4); the materials such as aluminum foil, polyethylene film, polyester film, opp film, pvc film may be used. The interior surface of the ventilation duct is covered with the inner coating layer (3). As the inner coating layer (3); the materials such as aluminum foil, polyethylene film, polyester film, opp film, pvc film may be used. The insulating layer (2) is present in the section between the inner coating layer (3) and the outer coating layer (4). As the insulating layer (2); polyethylene foam, or alternatively, different insulation materials such as rubber, fiberglass, glass wool may be used. The insulating layer (2) may be optionally manufactured in one and/or more than one layer such that it will include an air layer. Owing to said insulating layers (2) formed, the heat insulation capability of the ventilation duct may be enhanced even to a greater extent. Moreover, the helical-shaped steel wires (1) are present at certain intervals in the section between the inner coating layer (3) and the outer coating layer (4). Said steel wires (1) provide the ventilation duct with both shape and the feature of flexibility.

The insulating layer (2) of the ventilation duct may be directly laminated between the inner and outer coating layers (3, 4) by means of heat and/or an adhesive chemical, without employing an isolation step. In this way, the product cost is enabled to be reduced in terms of both material and labor.

In addition, a method for forming a ventilation duct is developed according to the invention, said method being characterized by providing at least one inner coating layer (3) and at least one outer coating layer (4), directly adhering at least one insulating layer (2) between the inner coating layer (3) and the outer coating layer (4) by means of heat and/or an adhesive chemical without employing an isolation step, placing steel wires (1) at certain intervals in the section between the inner and outer coating layers (3, 4) in order to provide the ventilation duct with shape and flexibility.
