PACKAGING CASE

A packaging case adapted for packing an article therein includes a fastening shell and a plurality of buffering elements. Each wall of the fastening shell defines at least one insertion hole. The buffering elements are dismountably inserted into the insertion holes of the fastening shell with tops thereof projecting out of the insertion holes. The fastening shell and the buffering elements are designed separately, so the buffering elements fully afford an external force struck on the buffering elements for effectively preventing cracks being caused between each buffering element and the fastening shell. Accordingly, the fastening shell is designed with a thinner thickness to lower a material cost and a transportation cost. Furthermore, the buffering elements assembled to the fastening shell are changeable to make the buffering elements dismountably inserted into the insertion holes properly and simply. So a better buffering function of the packaging case is realized.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention generally relates to a packaging case, and more particularly to a packaging case having a buffering function.

2. The Related Art

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a conventional packaging case 4 adapted for packing a rectangular product 3 therein has a rectangular first cover 41 and a rectangular second cover 42. A middle of a rear of the first cover 41 defines a first opening (not shown), and a middle of a front of the second cover 42 defines a second opening (not shown). A plurality of buffering ribs 43 protrude outward from a periphery of the first cover 41 and a periphery of the second cover 42. A plurality of buffering blocks 44 protrude outward from a front surface of the first cover 41 and a rear surface of the second cover 42. The buffering ribs 43 and the buffering blocks 44 are integrally molded with the first cover 41 and the second cover 42. One end of the product 3 is received in the first opening of the first cover 41 and the other end of the product 3 is received in the second opening of the second cover 42 to pack the product 3 between the first cover 41 and the second cover 42.

However, in order to protect the product 3, the packaging case 4 is usually designed with a thicker thickness so that results in a higher material cost. Moreover, when the packaging case 4 with the product 3 packed therein is struck by an external force, a periphery junction between each of the buffering ribs 43 and the first cover 41 or the second cover 42, and a periphery junction between each of the buffering blocks 44 and the first cover 41 or the second cover 42 are apt to be cracked that seriously affects satisfactory degrees for customers.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An object of the present invention is to provide a packaging case adapted for packing an article therein includes a fastening shell and a plurality of buffering elements. Each wall of the fastening shell defines at least one insertion hole. The buffering elements are dismountably inserted into the insertion holes of the fastening shell with tops thereof projecting out of the insertion holes.

As described above, the fastening shell and the buffering elements are designed separately, so the buffering elements fully afford an external force struck on the buffering elements for effectively preventing cracks being caused between each of the buffering elements and the fastening shell. Accordingly, the fastening shell is designed with a thinner thickness to lower a material cost and a transportation cost. Furthermore, the buffering elements assembled to the fastening shell are changeable to make the buffering elements dismountably inserted into the insertion holes of the fastening shell properly and simply. As a result, a better buffering function of the packaging case is realized to improve a packing quality of the packaging case so as to assure satisfactory degrees of customers.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The present invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art by reading the following description, with reference to the attached drawings, in which:

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a packaging case in prior art, wherein the packaging case packs a product therein;

FIG. 2 is a front sectional view of the packaging case packing the product therein of FIG. 1;

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a packaging case in accordance with the present invention, wherein the packaging case packs an article therein;

FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the packaging case packing the article therein of FIG. 3; and

FIG. 5 is a partially sectional view of the packaging case packing the article therein of FIG. 3.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, a packaging case 1 in accordance with the present invention is shown. The packaging case 1 adapted for packing a cubic article 2 includes a fastening shell 10 and a plurality of buffering elements 20.

Referring to FIG. 3, FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the fastening shell 10 is divided into four shells 11. Each shell 11 has a rectangular first wall 111, a rectangular second wall 112 perpendicular to the first wall 111, and two square third walls 113 connecting with the first wall 111 and the second wall 112. A receiving space (not shown) is accordingly formed among the first wall 111, the second wall 112 and the two third walls 113. Each of the first wall 111, the second wall 112 and the two third walls 113 defines at least one insertion hole 101.

Referring to FIG. 5, the fastening shell 10 is preferably made of a hollow sandwich material so as to lower a material cost and make the fastening shell 10 lighter for facilitating the fastening shell 10 being carried.

Referring to FIG. 3, FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 again, each of the buffering elements 20 has a rectangular insertion portion 21 located at a bottom thereof, and a substantial frustum-shaped buffering head 22 forming on a top of the insertion portion 21. The insertion portion 21 is matched with the insertion hole 101. The buffering head 22 is narrower than the insertion portion 21.

Referring to FIG. 3, FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 once again, in use, two top corners of the article 2 and one top edge of the article 2 connecting between the two corners of the article 2 are received in the receiving space (not shown) of one of the shells 11, the other two top corners of the article 2 and another top edge of the article 2 connecting between the other two corners of the article 2 are received in the receiving space (not shown) of another shell 11. In the same way, four bottom corners of the article 2, and two bottom edges of the article 2 opposite to the two top edges of the article 2 described above are received in the receiving spaces (not shown) of the rest two shells 11. The insertion portions 21 are directly inserted into the insertion holes 101 of the fastening shell 10 without using any adhesives to pack the article 2 in the packaging case 1. The buffering heads 22 of the buffering elements 20 project out of the insertion holes 101. When an external force is struck on the buffering heads 22 of the buffering elements 20, the external force is fully afforded by the buffering elements 20 on account of the fastening shell 10 and the buffering elements 20 being designed separately for effectively preventing cracks being caused between each of the buffering elements 20 and the fastening shell 10. Accordingly, the fastening shell 10 is designed with a thinner thickness to lower the material cost and a transportation cost. Furthermore, the buffering elements 20 assembled to the fastening shell 10 are changeable according to the manufacturing material and weight of the article 2 to make the buffering elements 20 dismountably inserted into the insertion holes 101 of the fastening shell 10 properly and simply, and the fastening shell 10 needn't be changed simultaneously.

As described above, the fastening shell 10 and the buffering elements 20 are designed separately, so the buffering elements 20 fully afford the external force struck on the buffering heads 22 of the buffering elements 20 for effectively preventing the cracks being caused between each of the buffering elements 20 and the fastening shell 10. Accordingly, the fastening shell 10 is designed with the thinner thickness to lower the material cost and the transportation cost. Furthermore, the buffering elements 20 assembled to the fastening shell 10 are changeable according to the manufacturing material and the weight of the article 2 to make the buffering elements 20 dismountably inserted into the insertion holes 101 of the fastening shell 10 properly and simply. As a result, a better buffering function of the packaging case 1 is realized to improve a packing quality of the packaging case 1 so as to assure satisfactory degrees of customers.
