Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Technical Field

The invention relates to bags, particularly to bicycle carrying bags.

2. Related Art

In recent years, cycling becomes very popular in the world and can be used for sport, recreation and transportation. Besides cycling in areas near rider's homes, some riders will carry those own bicycles to other distant places or even foreign countries. The best way of carrying a bicycle is to use a main bag. A typical main bag is a zippered nonwoven pouch with handles emerging therefrom. When a bicycle is put in the pouch and the bag is lifted up, the bottom of the bag and the junctions of the pouch and handles will bear the weight of the loaded bicycle. As a result, the bag is easy to be broken at these positions.

On the other hand, stowing a bicycle into a nonwoven bag can accomplish the object of carrying, but it cannot protect the stowed bicycle very well. Components and frame of the bicycle tend to be damaged if it collides with hard objects. Some existing main bags add a small-sized pad to protect the rear derailleur, which is the weakest part of a bicycle. However, the pad can provide local protection only, and it cannot protect a whole bicycle. Because of the insufficient protection provided by current main bags, it is unavailable to take a plane with carrying a bicycle stowed in a bag. Those riders who take a plane always need a carton to pack their bicycles. This is very inconvenient.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An object of the invention is to provide a bicycle carrying bag with a soft pad, which can sweepingly protect a bicycle stowed in the bag. This bag can prevent the bicycle from being damaged from collision. Also, the bicycle with the bag can be carried in a plane without packing in a carton. The soft pad may be selectively removed from the bag for light weight applications.

To accomplish the above object of the invention, the integrated cycling mobility bag of the invention includes a main bag and a shoulder strap. The main bag is composed of a bag sheet and a soft pad top-dressed on the bag sheet. Edges of the bag sheet are disposed with a first zipper and a second zipper to make the bag sheet form a bag body. Two blanks are remained between the two zippers and are disposed with a pair of Velcro patches. The shoulder strap includes a belt and two belt connectors. Each the belt connector is composed of a first member and a second member. The first member is located at an end of the belt. A loop is formed when the first and second members are engaged for looping up a frame and wheel of a bicycle. The shoulder strap may pass through the pair of Velcro patches.

Besides, the invention also has the advantages as follows:

1. The bag sheet can spread to serve as a ground sheet and the ground sheet is provided with rings for being secured on the ground with a tent.

2. The soft pad can spread on the bag sheet to serve a sleeping pad.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a schematic view of the invention;

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the shoulder strap; and

FIG. 3 is a schematic view of the invention in use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Please refer to FIG. 1. The bicycle carrying bag includes a main bag 1 and a shoulder strap 2. The main bag 1 is used to stow a bicycle 9 and is composed of a bag sheet 11 and a soft pad 14. Edges of the bag sheet 11 are disposed with a first zipper 111 and a second zipper 112. These two zippers 111, 112 are symmetrically arranged in an L-shape to make the bag sheet 11 be able to form a bag body. Two blanks 13 are remained between the two zippers 111, 112 to make them discontinuous. The blanks 13 are disposed with a pair of Velcro patches 13a, 13b. The pair of Velcro patches 13a, 13b may be selectively closed or opened to form a closable opening when the zippers 111, 112 are bound.

The shoulder strap 14 is spread on the internal side of the bag sheet 11. The area of the soft pad 14 is about at least 90% of that of the spread bag sheet 11. The soft pad 14 can cloak the bicycle when the bag sheet 11 is folded to form a bag. The soft pad 14 can be directly spread on the bag sheet 11 without fixation or the inner side of the bag sheet 11 is provided with two elastics 121, 122 for securing the soft pad 14 between the bag sheet 11 and the elastics 121, 122.

Preferably, edges of the bag sheet 11 may be additionally provided with rings 15. The bag sheet 11 with the soft pad 14 can be coupled to a tent (not shown) with these rings 15 to serve as a mat or sleeping pad.

Please refer to FIG. 2. The shoulder strap 2 includes a belt 21 and two belt connectors 22, 23. Each of the belt connectors 22, 23 is composed of a first member 221, 231 and a second member 222, 232. The first member 221, 231 can be a male plug and the second member 222, 232 can be a female socket, which can be detachably connected to each other. Of course, the male-and-female arrangement of the first and second members 221, 231; 222, 232 can also be swapped without restriction. Each of the first members 221, 231 is located at an end of the belt 21 and each of the second members 222, 232 is located on the belt 21 and near the corresponding one of the first members 221, 231 with a distance of about 10-15 cm. A loop would be formed at each of the two ends of the belt 21 when the first and second members 221, 231; 222, 232 are engaged to loop up a frame, rack or wheel 91 of a bicycle 9 and the shoulder strap 2 passes through the pair of Velcro patches 13a, 13b, so that the shoulder strap 2 can directly lift up the bicycle 9. Furthermore, the Velcro patches 13a, 13b may not only allow the shoulder strap 2 to pass through the blanks 13, but also seal up the rest of blanks 13 except the portions occupied by the shoulder strap 2.

Please refer to FIG. 6. As shown in the figure, because the shoulder strap 2 directly binds a bicycle 9, the weight of the bicycle 9 is born by a user through the shoulder strap 2 while the main bag 1 does not bear any weight or pressure. Instead, the main bag 1 just attaches on the bicycle 9 to form a protective layer.

It will be appreciated by persons skilled in the art that the above embodiment has been described by way of example only and not in any limitative sense, and that various alterations and modifications are possible without departure from the scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
