ONE-TOUCH TYPE QUICK COUPLER FOR CONNECTING STEEL BARS

Disclosure relates to a method of sharing a session key between wireless communication terminals using a variable-length authentication code. The method includes: generating a public key by using an own private key; generating a message including the public key and a first random number and encoding the message using an own secret key to exchange an encrypted message with the other terminal; decoding the encrypted message of the other terminal by receiving a secret key of the other terminal; generating an authentication code by calculating the first random number and a second random number included in the decoded message; obtaining a medium value from the authenticated code; and generating a session key by using a public key included in the decoded message of the other terminal.

Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a one-touch type quick coupler for connecting steel bars, and more particularly, to a one-touch type quick coupler for connecting steel bars, which grips the steel bars using wedge-shaped grip units having saw teeth formed thereon and bodies.

BACKGROUND ART

In order to connect steel bars to be used in a concrete structure in various construction sites, the steel bars were fixed to each other by overlapping and tying them with steel wire in a prior art. However, since in such a method of fixing steel bars, an operator should wind steel wire around steel bars several times and then ties the steel wire, the operation is cumbersome and the steel bars would not be perpendicular to each other but crooked. Further, since the steel wire is weak in strength, it may be easily broken and its connection may be released.

In order to solve such a problem, steel bar connection devices (coupling devices) for easily and securely connecting steel bars by a means other than steel wire have been developed and used.

However, most of conventionally developed steel bar connection devices fix steel bars by inserting them into a housing and then tightening a screw to fix the housing, which is structurally complicated, makes it difficult to connect the steel bars, and thus, requires much time, effort and cost in the operation.

As an approach for solving the problems, Korean Patent Nos. 0439305 (Jun. 28, 2004), 04622901 (Dec. 8, 2004), and 1003302 disclose one-touch type steel bar couplers capable of easily connecting steel bars.

However, the prior art one-touch type steel bar couplers may provide strong binding force when ribs of steel bars have bilateral symmetry but not provide strong binding force in a case of steel bars having bilaterally asymmetrical ribs. That is, the steel bar connection devices of the above-described patents have not been commercialized since when steel bars having bilaterally asymmetrical ribs are inserted, the ribs of one side of the steel bars are securely coupled but the ribs of the opposite side are not coupled to provide weak binding force. In addition, there is high probability of deformation of the steel bar connection devices or loss of balls by thermal stress or other external force, which makes the commercialization impossible.

Koran Patent No. 10-1039120 filed and registered in the name of the present applicant solves the problems of the prior art steel bar couplers. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a coupler includes a coupler body 10 having a hollow portion 11 with both ends formed to be open so that two steel bars B are inserted into both the ends and two taper portions 12 formed inside both the ends of the hollow portion 11 to have an inner diameter reduced axially toward the outside; a plurality of ball groups 30 each having a plurality of balls 31, 32, 33 and 34 arranged in each taper portion 12 along the axial direction to be movable in the axial direction and having diameters reduced axially toward the outside inside the coupler body 10; and an elastic member 40 installed within the coupler body 10 to provide elastic force pushing the ball groups 30 axially toward the outside therein, wherein when steel bars B are inserted into the hollow portion 11 through both the ends of the coupler body 10, ribs R of the outer peripheral surfaces of the steel bars B are inserted between the balls 31, 32, 33 and 34 and the balls 31, 32, 33 and 34 of the ball groups 30, so that the steel bars B can be constrained not to escape by the wedging action of the balls 31, 32, 33 and 34 and the taper portions 12.

However, such a ball type one-touch coupler is easy to couple steel bars and hard to allow the once-coupled steel bars to escape, but the steel bars are stretched and escape if tensile force is increasingly applied to the steel bars. That is, if the coupled portion of the steel bar and the piece body is formed in a ball or gradually curved shape, the ribs of the steel bar pushes the piece body and escapes even though adhesion is superior. In addition, since the steel bar has ductile properties and the piece body is made of a high strength material, if the steel bar is coupled and then pulled in the direction opposite to the insertion direction, a portion of the piece body at which joints of the steel bar are gripped presses the ductile steel bar to deform the shape of the steel bar (i.e., the steel bar becomes thin or pushes the joints to be deformed and escape), and eventually, there remains a problem that desire tensile force cannot be obtained.

DISCLOSURE Technical Problem

The present invention is conceived to solve the aforementioned problems in the prior art. An object of the present invention is to provide a one-touch type quick coupler for connecting steel bars, which can securely and stably grip steel bars by operation of grip units having saw teeth formed thereon in the coupler and is also easily manufactured and superior in cost of production and price competitiveness by saving a material cost.

Technical Solution

According to an aspect of the present invention for achieving the objects, there is provided a one-touch type quick coupler for connecting steel bars having left and right bodies, into which ends of the steel bars are inserted and fixed, and left and right grip units installed inside the left and right bodies to grip the ends of the steel bars, wherein the left and right bodies respectively include front steel bar insertion holes, sidewalls and rear holes, the left and right bodies have rear portions coupled to each other, each inner diameter of the sidewalls has an inclined taper shape, each outer diameter of the left and right grip units has an inclined taper shape, the inclined portions of the left and right grip units respectively cooperate with the inclined portions of the inner diameters of the sidewalls to perform wedge action, thereby compressing the steel bars not to escape, each inner diameter of the left and right grip units has saw teeth formed in a lengthwise direction, and bottom sides of the saw teeth are formed with grooves for receiving joint protrusions of the steel bars.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, each of the left and right grip units is divided into a plurality of pieces, the plurality of pieces are arranged radially from the steel bar insertion hole as a center, grip unit guides are correspondingly inserted between the plurality of divided pieces of the left and right grip units to form a generally circular cross section, and each of the left and right grip units has an inner diameter portion concavely rounded to grip the steel bar, both lateral surfaces convexly rounded toward the outside, and an outer diameter portion convexly rounded toward the outside to be in contact with each of the bodies.

Advantageous Effects

A one-touch type quick coupler according to the present invention has advantages in that the coupler can securely and stably grip steel bars by operation of grip units having saw teeth formed thereon in the coupler and also be easily manufactured and superior in cost of production and price competitiveness by saving a material cost.

BEST MODE

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of a one-touch type quick coupler for connecting steel bars according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Referring to FIGS. 3 to 8, a coupler of the present invention includes left and right bodies 100 and 200, into which ends of steel bars 300 are inserted and fixed, and left and right grip units 110 and 210 installed inside the left and right bodies 100 and 200 to grip the ends of the steel bars 300. The terms “left” and “right” sides respectively mean the left and right sides in FIG. 3 for convenience of description, and the left and right sides of the bodies and the grip units have the same configuration and function as each other.

The left and right bodies 100 and 200 for connecting the steel bars 300 to each other respectively include front steel bar insertion holes 101 and 201, sidewalls 102 and 202 and rear holes 103 and 203 and have the same configuration. In addition, rear portions of the left and right bodies 100 and 200 are coupled to each other, so that two steel bars can be connected to each other.

The left and right bodies are manufactured separately, and then, may be coupled to each other by threaded fastening, welding or the like. Any one of the left and right bodies has a male thread formed on the outer periphery of the body rear hole and the other body has a female thread formed on the inner periphery of the body rear hole, and thus, the left and right bodies may be threadedly coupled to each other to be detachable.

In addition, since each inner diameter of the sidewalls 102 and 202 has an inclined taper shape and each outer diameter of the left and right grip units 110 and 210 has also an inclined taper shape, the inclined portions of the left and right grip units 110 and 210 respectively cooperate with the inclined portions of the inner diameters of the sidewalls 102 and 202 to compress the steel bars 300 not to escape. That is, even though the left and right steel bars are pulled in a state where the steel bars are connected to each other, they are rather firmly bound to each other not to escape by wedge action.

Further, each of the left and right grip units 110 and 210 is divided into a plurality of pieces, the plurality of pieces are arranged radially from the steel bar insertion hole as the center, grip unit guides 120 and 220 are correspondingly inserted between the plurality of divided pieces of the left and right grip units 110 and 210 to form a generally circular cross section, and each of the left and right grip units 110 and 210 has an inner diameter portion concavely rounded to grip the steel bar, both lateral surfaces convexly rounded toward the outside, and an outer diameter portion convexly rounded toward the outside to be in contact with the body 100 or 200. The number of the pieces is at least two.

Meanwhile, for accuracy of operation, the piece has protrusions formed on both the lateral surfaces and correspondingly the grip unit guide has protrusion grooves formed thereon.

In the present invention, the left and right bodies and the pieces may be variously manufactured in a forging, press or casting process using a mold, or a cutting process. The left and right bodies are made of a material, such as stainless steel, having higher strength than the steel bar.

In the meantime, the grip unit guide corresponding to each piece is made of metal or plastic. Further, the rear portions of the grip unit guides 120 and 220 are respectively connected to left and right guide plates 121 and 221 having a plurality of small holes radially bored therethrough.

Therefore, according to the present invention, since the lateral surfaces of the grip unit are circular, even when a lateral force is applied, the stress may be dispersed and thus damage or deformation does not occur. Accordingly, it is possible to withstand very large strength and to secure sufficient performance even though the grip units are thin.

Further, according to the present invention, each inner diameter portion of the left and right grip units 110 and 210 has saw teeth 600 formed in the lengthwise direction. The bottom sides of the saw teeth 600 are formed with grooves 601 capable of receiving the joint protrusions 301 of the steel bars 300, each groove 601 is formed to be round, and each of the saw teeth 600 has a cross section in a “” shape.

The groove has a space inside each bottom side of the saw teeth to prevent a decrease in contact area when the joint protrusion of the steel bar has a large height since a joint protrusion of a steel bar has a generally fixed protruding height but may be different in the height according to a manufacturer of a steel bar. Also, the saw teeth 600 are formed in the lengthwise direction of the left and right grip units 110 and 210 and formed at an interval of ½ of a pitch of the joint protrusions 301 of the steel bar. Thus, even though joint protrusions are formed to be offset with respect to ribs formed on both sides of a steel bar, it is possible to easily grip the steel bar. A steel bar is released in a state where joint protrusions formed in the horizontal direction between two protruding ribs generally formed in the lengthwise direction in manufacture are formed to be offset in the lengthwise direction at a certain pitch between the two protruding ribs.

In addition, left and right compression coil springs 130 and 230 are respectively installed between the pieces of the left and right grip units 110 and 210 and the guide plates, so that the left and right grip units 110 and 210 operate smoothly when the steel bars 300 are inserted and fixed.

Also, according to the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the left and right grip units 110 and 210 may be formed with plane-shaped grooves 601 a instead of the curved grooves 601. Also, as shown in FIG. 11, each plane-shaped groove 601a may be formed with a concave-convex portion 602 by knurling, thereby enhancing contact area and pressure with a steel bar.

Further, according to the present invention, a step is formed on the steel bar-side end of each outer diameter of the left and right grip units 110 and 210 and a corresponding step is also formed on each inner diameter of the left and right bodies 100 and 200, so that when the steel bar 300 is pulled, the pressure applied between the left and right grip units 110 and 210 and the left and right bodies 100 and 200 can be dispersed.

Furthermore, the steel bar-side end of each outer diameter of the bodies 100 and 200 is formed to be inclined, which allows mortar to be sufficiently filled without pores or empty spaces when concrete construction is performed.

In the meantime, according to the present invention, the left and right bodies with the left and right grip units housed therein are coupled to each other and used to connect two steel bars. In addition, as shown in FIGS. 13 to 15, they are coupled to a hollow pipe in the shape of a tee T, a cross + or an elbow L and thus used to connect steel bars.

In the same way, the left and right bodies with the left and right grip units housed therein are separated from each other, as shown in FIG. 12, only the left body 100 or right body 200 is coupled to a wall W and used in sole, which is used when the steel bar 300 is coupled to a wall.

The embodiments of a one-touch type quick coupler for connecting steel bars according to the above-described present invention are disclosed only for illustrative purposes to help understanding of the present invention. The present invention is not limited thereto, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and implementations can be made thereto within the scope of the appended claims.

Therefore, a one-touch type quick coupler according to the present invention has advantages in that the coupler can securely and stably grip steel bars by operation of grip units having saw teeth formed thereon in the coupler and be also easily manufactured and superior in cost of production and price competitiveness by saving a material cost.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY

The present invention may be applied as one-touch steel bar coupler for connecting steel bars forming a construction framework to each other or to a wall during a building work.

Claims

1. A one-touch type quick coupler for connecting steel bars 300 having left and right bodies (100, 200), into which ends of the steel bars 300 are inserted and fixed, and left and right grip units (110, 210) installed inside the left and right bodies (100, 200) to grip the ends of the steel bars (300),

wherein the left and right bodies (100, 200) respectively include front steel bar insertion holes (101, 201), sidewalls (102, 202) and rear holes (103, 203), the left and right bodies (100, 200) have rear portions coupled to each other, each inner diameter of the sidewalls (102, 202) has an inclined taper shape, each outer diameter of the left and right grip units (110, 210) has an inclined taper shape, the inclined portions of the left and right grip units (110, 210) respectively cooperate with the inclined portions of the inner diameters of the sidewalls (102, 202) to perform wedge action, thereby compressing the steel bars (300) not to escape, each inner diameter of the left and right grip units (110, 210) has saw teeth (600) formed in a lengthwise direction, bottom sides of the saw teeth (600) are formed with grooves (601) for receiving joint protrusions (301) of the steel bars (300), each of the left and right grip units (110, 210) is divided into a plurality of pieces, the plurality of pieces are arranged radially from the steel bar insertion hole as a center, grip unit guides (120, 220) are correspondingly inserted between the plurality of divided pieces of the left and right grip units (110, 210) to form a generally circular cross section, and each of the left and right grip units (110, 210) has an inner diameter portion concavely rounded to grip the steel bar, both lateral surfaces convexly rounded toward the outside, and an outer diameter portion convexly rounded toward the outside to be in contact with each of the bodies (100, 200).

2. The one-touch type quick coupler according to claim 1, wherein the groove (601) is formed to be round, so that each of the saw teeth (600) has a cross section in a “” shape.

3. The one-touch type quick coupler according to claim 1, wherein the saw teeth (600) are formed in a lengthwise direction of the left and right grip units (110, 210) and formed at an interval of ½ of a pitch of the joint protrusions (301) of the steel bar.

The one-touch type quick coupler according to claim 1, wherein rear portions of the grip unit guides (120, 220) are respectively connected to left and right guide plates (121, 221) having a plurality of small holes radially bored therethrough, and compression coil springs (130, 230) are respectively installed between the pieces of the left and right grip units (110, 210) and the guide plates (121, 221), so that the left and right grip units (110, 210) operate smoothly when the steel bars (300) are inserted and fixed.

5. The one-touch type quick coupler according to claim 1, wherein the left and right grip units (110, 210) are formed with planes instead of the grooves (601).

6. The one-touch type quick coupler according to claim 5, wherein the plane is formed with a concave-convex portion (602) by knurling, thereby enhancing contact area and pressure with a steel bar.

The one-touch type quick coupler according to claim 1, wherein a step is formed on a steel bar-side end of each outer diameter of the left and right grip units (110, 210) and a corresponding step is formed on each inner diameter of the left and right bodies (100, 200), so that when the steel bar (300) is pulled, pressure applied between the left and right grip units (110, 210) and the left and right bodies (100, 200) can be dispersed.

8. The one-touch type quick coupler according to claim 1, wherein a steel bar-side end of each outer diameter of the bodies (100, 200) is formed to be inclined, thereby sufficiently filling mortar without pores or empty spaces when concrete construction is performed.

The one-touch type quick coupler according to claim 1, wherein the left and right bodies (100, 200) with the left and right grip units (110, 210) housed therein are separated from each other and used in sole, and the separated left or right body is threadedly coupled to a wall to attach the steel bar (300) to the wall or coupled to a hollow pipe in the shape of a tee T, a cross + or an elbow L and thus used to connect the steel bars (300).
