RELATED APPLICATION

This application claims priority to provisional patent application U.S. Ser. No. 61/734,864 filed on Dec. 7, 2012, the entire contents of which is herein incorporated by reference.

BACKGROUND

The embodiments herein relate generally to fashion and personal accessory.

Prior to embodiments of the disclosed invention, brassieres would expose a user's cleavage without the discretion of the user. One set of prior art solutions involved manipulating materials onto the brassier straps, which was ineffective and could not easily stay in place. Other prior art solutions involved permanently affixing a camisole panel to the brassiere, however, since the panel is attached by sewing, it is permanent. This caused the user to have to invest in a new garment each time one needed a different color camisole panel. The non-stretch materials in the prior art were not as taut as the stretch lace used in embodiments of the present invention. Further the bra can be worn alone if the wearer prefers to expose cleavage on occasion.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF CERTAIN EMBODIMENTS

By way of example, and referring to FIG. 1, user 26 desires to wear bra 10 without exposing cleavage. The brassiere system accomplishes this. One embodiment of brassiere system comprises bra 10 attached to camisole panel garment 16.

Turning to FIG. 2, bra 10 comprises a left bra cup 12 and a right bra cup 12 connected by bra back strap 14. Left bra cup 12 is attached to left bra cup connector 20. Likewise, right bra cup 12 is attached to right bra cup connector 20. Bra back strap 14 is attached to left side bra back strap connector 18 and right side bra back strap connector 18.

In some embodiments, left bra cup connector 20 can be a left bra cup snap. Right bra cup connector 20 can be a right bra cup snap. Left side bra back strap connector 18 can be three left side bra back strap snaps. Right side bra back strap connector 18 can be three right side bra back strap snaps.

Turning to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, camisole panel 16 comprises a panel with a left folded corner 28 and a right folded corner 28 are respectively attached to a left camisole panel garment cup connector 24 and a right camisole panel garment cup connector 24. Two sides of the panel are folded and attached to a left camisole panel garment back strap connector 22 and a right left camisole panel garment back strap connector 22.

In some embodiments, left camisole panel garment back strap connector 22 can be three left side camisole panel garment back strap snaps. Likewise, right camisole panel garment back strap connector 22 can be three right side camisole panel garment back strap snaps. Further, left camisole panel garment cup connector 24 can be a left camisole panel garment cup snap. Likewise, right camisole panel garment cup connector 24 can be a right camisole panel garment cup snap.

While camisole panel 16 can fit a variety of shapes, the following has been found to be particularly effective when camisole panel 16 is made of stretch material which includes stretch lace, polyester spandex, or other stretch material. A modified octagon having a bottom edge immediately adjacent to a right perpendicular edge wherein the right perpendicular edge is taller than bra back strap 14 at its longest point in order to conceal bra back strap 14. The right perpendicular edge is immediately adjacent to a right rounded edge configured to cover a portion of bra cup 12 while being curved in order to avoid hindering arm movement of user 26. The right rounded edge is immediately adjacent to a right upper corner 28, which is folded to accommodate a left camisole panel garment cup connector 24.

The right upper corner is immediately adjacent to an upper edge. The upper edge is immediately adjacent to an upper left corner. The upper left corner is folded to accommodate a left camisole panel garment cup connector 24. The upper left corner is immediately adjacent to a left rounded edge configured to cover a portion of bra cup 12 while being curved in order to avoid hindering arm movement of user 26. The left rounded edge is immediately adjacent to a left perpendicular edge which is configured to be taller than bra back strap 14 at its longest point in order to conceal bra back strap 14. The left perpendicular edge is immediately adjacent to the bottom edge.

FIG. 5 provides a process to configure the brassiere system. First, obtaining bra 10 comprising bra cups 12 connected to bra back strap 14. After that, connecting left side bra back strap connector 18 and right side bra back strap connector 18 to bra back strap 14. Then, affixing a bra cup connector 20 to each bra cup 12.

Next, configuring a camisole panel 16 with folded corners 28 that are respectively connected to camisole panel garment cup connectors 24. Following that, folding two sides of camisole panel 16 are connected to left side camisole panel garment strap connector 22 and right side camisole panel garment strap connector 22. After that, detachably coupling the bra cup connectors 20 to the camisole panel garment cup connectors 24. Then, detachably coupling the right side bra back strap connector 18 and the left side bra back strap connector 18 to the left side camisole panel garment back strap connector 22 and the right side camisole panel garment back strap connector 22. This causes camisole panel 16 to be stretched taut across bar cups 12 covering the human cleavage of user 27.

In some embodiments a first camisole panel 16 can be replaced with a second camisole panel 16. This permits the user to change the color of the camisole panel 16 in brassiere system 10 in order to be versatile and fit into many kinds of fashion color schemes.

Persons of ordinary skill in the art may appreciate that numerous design configurations may be possible to enjoy the functional benefits of the inventive systems. Thus, given the wide variety of configurations and arrangements of embodiments of the present invention the scope of the invention is reflected by the breadth of the claims below rather than narrowed by the embodiments described above.
