Abstract: Designing shapewear for special occasion garments with low cut necklines and back lines can be especially challenging. The challenge lies in constructing a garment that effectively shapes the wearer while simultaneously eliminating significant amounts of material from the chest and/or back region. Disclosed herein are shaping garments designed to be worn underneath garments with low cut back lines. The shaping garment includes a space in the back shaping region on its rear side, such that the shaping garment is not visible beneath an ultra low-back special occasion garment. A removable back adjuster can be used to bridge the space to provide additional shaping support when ultra low-back mode is not required by the special occasion garment.

Abstract: An undergarment is intended to be worn by a user in combination with a brassiere having a back band. The undergarment comprises a unitary body piece having an inside, an outside, a front, a back, opposing sides, a top portion and a bottom portion, each defined by their relative positions when worn by the user. The undergarment further comprises at least one fastener adjacent the top portion and operable to removably engage the brassiere adjacent the back band such that the back of the user is not visible between the back band and the top portion.

Abstract: A strapless camisole undergarment has a front upper portion which is detachably affixable to each of the fold-down cup cover flaps of a standard, top-opening nursing bra. Attachment is made just below the clasp on each fold-down cover flap. Intended to be worn beneath any front-opening or pull-over blouse or shirt, the undergarment enables a woman to discreetly breastfeed an infant maintaining her lower torso covered while her outer shirt is lifted or open. Thus, a woman desiring to nurse her child need only open or raise the outer shirt, unhook a cup cover flap, and lower both the flap and the attached undergarment in order to access a breast. When the child has finishing nursing on that breast, the woman raises the flap and reattaches it—along with the attached undergarment—to the hook at the top of the bra cup.

Abstract: The various embodiments herein describe a women's undergarment comprising a strapless bra having a body portion with a pair of bust cups extending upwardly from a lower chest band, an underwire support frame provided on the chest band extending to the sides of the bra, two inner bra pads suspended in the bust cups, two straps attached to each of the inner bra pad, a loop provided on sides of the bra for passage of the strap, a panty, a support fabric provided inside the panty and an attachment means provided on one end of the strap for attaching the bra to the support fabric. The straps attached to the support fabric exerts a pulling force on the support fabric causing an upward lift of the support fabric thereby distributing the weight of breasts to lower buttocks and upper thighs of the user.

Abstract: An article of clothing, such as a lingerie product, that can be worn with an existing bra. The article can come in various sizes that will accommodate most women. A large breasted woman can wear a bra that fits her and attach the article to the bra, creating a seamless look of a one-piece garment. Conversely, a woman with smaller breasts and large hips can wear her own bra with a larger size garment, creating lingerie that fits her various proportions. Currently, there is no product that allows any bra to become the foundation for properly fitting lingerie. The present invention can provide lingerie that properly fits women's various body types.

Abstract: A brassiere system is configured to cover human cleavage. The brassiere system includes a bra detachably coupled to a camisole panel. The bra further comprises a left bra cup and a right bra cup connected with a bra back strap. A left bra cup connector is connected to the left bra cup. A right bra cup connector is connected to the right bra cup. A left camisole panel garment cup connector is attached to the camisole panel. A right camisole panel garment cup connector is attached to the camisole panel. The left bra cup connector and the right bra cup connector are configured to connect to the left camisole panel garment cup connector and the right camisole panel garment cup connector to hold the camisole panel across the left bra cup and the right bra cup.

Abstract: A surgical garment includes an undergarment and an outer garment configured to be worn over the undergarment. The undergarment includes a brassiere including a front panel, a back panel, a shoulder strap extending from a top portion of a first side of the front panel to a top portion of a first side of the back panel, a width of elastic material extending along a bottom of the front and back panels, and a releasable fastening system releasably coupling a side portion of the first side of the front panel with a side portion of the first side of the back panel. The outer garment includes a torso portion and removable shoulder portions extending from the torso portion.

Abstract: A garment provides a shirt having sleeve portions and a body portion. The body portion defines a body cavity. A bra is disposed within the body cavity of the shirt and is loosely coupled to the body portion of the shirt via at least one attachment point. The garment is wearable by a woman in a manner in which the bra provides breast support for the woman and the shirt covers the bra, and the attachment points are configured to allow the shirt to remain loose while being worn by the woman. The garment provides light soft cup breast support while sleeping and can be worn when awake before going to bed, or after waking up during daytime activities.

Abstract: A Multiple Active Swimwear set is a outfit created for confidence and comfort in a swimsuit. Typically swimsuits feel like undergarments you wear with nothing on top. This particular line is a mockery of an everyday outfit women would typically wear on a summer day. Transformed into an outfit made for swim and water activities. Wearing “regular” clothing atop a swimsuit for cover is a shout of being unconfident in your swim attire. This swim line gives the same “feeling” of wearing a typical full underwire bra, a tank shirt and a short or skirt bottom as women do daily. With that confidence gives women an opportunity to participate in water activity without feeling completely exposed or like they are in their “lingerie” in public. It can be worn as an outfit into public areas without additional cover up and into water activities as well.

Abstract: An article of women's apparel that includes an outer garment and a bra. The bra is primarily internal to the outer garment. However, there is a reveal region that shows a portion of the bra. In one arrangement, the reveal region is formed by a pair of slits in a front shoulder region of the outer garment and portion of the bra which is revealed is a shoulder strap portion. This region is formed by routing the shoulder strap of the bra through the successive slits. In one arrangement, the outer garment is sleeveless and the reveal region is asymmetrical. A benefit of this arrangement is that a purchaser can determine the presence and type of support without having to approach and perform a detailed inspection of the garment.

Abstract: A garment that replaces a full shirt or blouse which is comprised of a frontal portion piece of material that attaches to an undergarment by the engagement of male and female snaps around the undergarment. The garment is fastened around the torso of the wearer by means of an elastic band with a hook which engages an elastic loop. Three female snaps are provided in order to adjust the drape of the neckline of the garment. An optional scarf may be attached to the garment in order to create a matching ensemble.

Abstract: A camisole-like garment for use by medical patients includes front and rear segments with the front segment divided into two panels which may be selectively, temporarily closed. The garment includes a yoke-like neck area and arm-receiving openings. Additional side openings are provided adjacent the line of joinder of the front and rear segments to provide for access for drainage tubes or the like and at least one pocket is formed on the outer surface of at least one of the front panels, also for the receipt of a drainage bulb associated with the drainage tube. Prosthesis-receiving pockets may also be provided on the inner surfaces of the front panels.

Abstract: An undergarment includes a torso covering cincher having a pair of downwardly curved underwire portions together with a pair of removably attachable breast-supporting cups. The breast-supporting cups define attachment members which cooperate with attachment members formed on the underwires to removably secure the breast-supporting cups to the torso covering undergarment. Embodiments are shown utilizing a torso covering garment referred to as a cincher and various attachment mechanisms are utilized in securing the breast-supporting cups.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a bra for the support and compression of the breasts of a woman suffering from post-partum breast engorgement, enlargement, or other conditions of the breasts. The bra includes a front panel connected to a back panel forming a garment. The garment is separable and includes connectors at the separation. The connectors are selectively connectable to provide an adjustable girth size of the garment. Variation in the girth size provides adjustable compression. The present invention also concerns warm or cold compresses in combination with a bra for the support and compression of breasts.

Abstract: A woman's garment effectively restrains uncontrolled movement of one or both breast implants, natural breasts, or breast prostheses, without any external readily visible means of support by pulling taut a pair of drawstrings that effectively draws one or both pockets for receiving the implants, natural breasts, or prostheses tightly against the wearer's chest.

Abstract: A closing apparatus for pockets in articles of clothing includes a soft, bendable, thin and flat body member which is securable to a garment and is comprised of at least three body sections, wherein each body section has two side parts, with one side part overlapping a side part of a neighboring body section, and with the other side part extending underneath a side part of another neighboring body section. A seam is applied about the perimeter of the body member for joining the body sections with each other in the respective overlapping areas. Each body section has a rectilinear edge which loosely sits upon the side part of a neighboring body section for closing the pocket of the garment and is displaceable for allowing access to the pocket. The loose edges intersect in a point of intersection which lies essentially in a center of the body member.

Abstract: An adjustable inner breast cup insert assembly for a woman's swimsuit or garment such as a leotard, dancewear, etc. The inner breast cup insert assembly comprises two breast cups connected at a midsection. Each breast cup contains a vertical extension and a side extension. Attached to the vertical extensions and side extensions of the breast cups is fastening material such as hook and loop type fasteners. On an inner side of the shoulder area and side seams of the under arm area of the swimsuit or garment is attached complimentary fastening material. The fastening material of the inner breast cup insert assembly is connected to the fastening material of the swimsuit or garment, thereby securely anchoring the insert assembly to the swimsuit or garment and providing proper fit, choice of size, proper support, comfort, shape and desired look to a wearer.

Abstract: The garment is provided featuring stretchable, resilient straps and a bodice. The straps are sufficiently resilient and suitably stretchable so that when a women wearing the garment pulls down the bodice, she can expose a breast for nursing and when through, she can return the bodice to its original position covering the breast. Straps and bodice are resilient such that garment regains it as original shape when returned to the original position. In this fashion, a women wearing the garment is able to expose the breast for nursing with one easy motion without having to deal with flaps or buttons or the like. The invention also provides female snap fasteners on the inner surface of the cups so that breast pads may be removeably fixed thereto. Thus, the invention provides a garment which is self sufficient, not requiring a bra for the use of breast pads. Bodice also fits snugly enough to hold nursing pads in place even if they are not snapped in.

Abstract: A breast protector and assembly are provided. The breast protector comprises a retention cup constructed of a semi-rigid material and formed into a demi-teardrop shape which approximates the natural shape of an unsupported female breast. The retention cup can have padding permanently or removably attached to an inner surface of the retention cup. A breast protector assembly comprises two retention cups fitted into a retention cup sleeve composed of a semi-elastic material in the shape of a tube. The retention cup assembly is sized so that the retention cups fit securely within the tube. The retention cup assembly can fit within the cups of an ordinary brassiere, being held thereby against the body of the wearer. Alternately, the retention cup assembly can be sewn into the brassiere.

Abstract: A surgical brassier is disclosed having a first pocket with an opening for receiving a front breast prosthesis and a second pocket with an opening for receiving a side prosthesis. The second pocket is disposed in overlapping relation to the first pocket such that any tab on the front prosthesis in the first pocket which extends out of the first pocket opening will be covered by the second pocket to prevent contact of the prosthesis tab with the skin of the wearer.

Abstract: A moisture managing brassiere for sports wear and general wear includes a front portion, a back portion connected to the front portion, and a pair of shoulder straps connected respectively at one end to the front portion and at respective opposite ends to the back portion. The brassiere is constructed of a composite stretch fabric including an inner fabric layer, and intermediate fabric layer, and an outer shell fabric layer. The inner fabric layer is constructed of hydrophobic moisture wicking fibers for residing in skin contact during garment wear. The intermediate fabric layer resides adjacent to the inner fabric layer for receiving, dispersing, and transporting moisture outwardly away from the inner fabric layer. The outer fabric layer resides adjacent to the intermediate fabric layer for receiving and dispersing moisture wicked outwardly from the inner and intermediate fabric layers.

Abstract: A figure adjusting pad is capable of permitting a periphery of the pad to exhibit satisfactory shape retention without any independent core. The pad includes a silicone gel element formed therein with perforations and a stretchable fabric arranged for covering the silicone gel element and is trimmed. The perforations of the silicone gel element are formed by traces defined by elution of particles incorporated in a silicone gel stock solution for the silicone gel element. The trimmed portion includes the silicone gel element and is double-sewn together with the silicone gel element.

Abstract: An improved brassiere includes a pair of fabric breast cups and straps, interconnecting said breast cups and maintaining a spaced apart relationship therebetween, for enabling the breast cups to be worn by a user. Breast pillows are provided for augmenting and uplifting a user's breasts with the breast pillows being formed from a breast implant type gel for simulating breast tissue of the user. The gel is a washable fabric and has a crescent shape with a generally flat top portion sized for uplifting the user's breasts. A pocket in a lower half of each breast cup is provided for receiving the breast pillows. The pockets are sized and positioned, in the breast cups, in order to enable the flat top portions, of the breast pillows, to engage an underside of each of the user's breasts for uplifting thereof.

Abstract: A protective breast cup arrangement wherein at least one breast cup member formed of a rigid cup-shaped construction includes a matrix of apertures directed therethrough, with the breast cup having an annular rim orthogonally oriented relative to a cup axis, with the rim including a continuous cushion member secured coextensively to an exterior surface of the rim to afford cushioning and frictional engagement about an individual's breast.

Abstract: A moisture management brassiere which includes a brassiere body, including a body and back strap. The body and back strap are formed of a stretch fabric having a moisture transport fabric layer constructed of hydrophobic yarns which define a first fabric face for residing in skin contact and for wicking moisture away from the skin. A moisture dispersal fabric layer is provided, and is constructed of hydrophilic yarns and defines a second fabric face for residing in spaced-apart relation from the skin during garment wear. The moisture dispersal fabric layer receives moisture from the hydrophobic moisture transport layer. Stretch yarns provide stretch to the back strap. A pair of breast enclosing and supporting cups are attached to the back strap of the brassiere. Each of the cups is constructed of a moisture transport fabric layer constructed of hydrophobic yarns which define a first fabric face for residing in skin contact during garment wear and for wicking moisture away from the skin.

Abstract: A reversible mastectomy brassiere which may be worn soon after surgery is disclosed with the primary purpose of this brassiere concept being to provide a mastectomy brassiere which may position a prosthesis on the left breast, or when said brassiere is completely reversed, to position a prosthesis on the right breast of the mastectomy patient. This design further includes front fasteners which function equally well irrespective of the side on which the brassiere is worn. The brassiere will provide adequate coverage for the patient soon after surgery, without the necessity of an expensive and time consuming special fitting. The second important aspect of this design is its continuous unbroken and smooth appearance when worn becuase the brassiere configuration and all outer edges have no apparent sewing or standard finishing of any kind on the outer surface of the brassiere.

Abstract: A breast enhancement brassiere is disclosed wherein each of the breast cups is constructed having an inner pocket which receives a padding material and an outer pocket which receives a removable elastomeric member. A support wire extends along the lower curved edge of each cup. The upper edge of each cup defines a relatively unconstrained open zone. The configuration is such that the brassiere, when worn, exerts forces on the wearer's breats lifting the breasts both upwardly and inwardly toward each other in the direction of the open zone for breast enhancement.

Abstract: The combination of a camisole embodying brassiere cups joined with a separate stretchable strip laterally placed at the base of brassiere cups and body of camisole. In addition, the brassiere cups may contain reinforcement materials of either a flexibly stiff semi sphere and/or under wire joined to the interior lower portion of each cup.

Abstract: The invention comprises post-mastectomy garments having one or two pockets in the breast area of a facing that is attached to a bodice of the garment. In one or both of the pocket areas may be placed a breast prosthesis, preferably constructed of a light-weight, flexible material. The invention is especially useful in construction of garments for casual or house wear.
