DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the upright horse riding exercise machine according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a base 1, two pedals 2 and two elastic units 3.

The base 1 comprises a bottom seat 11. The bottom seat 11 has an H-like shape. The bottom seat 11 comprises a pair of slide boards 12 at two outer ends thereof. The bottom seat 11 is provided with a plurality of pads 13. A connection board 14 is fixed to the central portion of the bottom seat 11. The connection board 14 has a U shape. The connection board 14 has an inner space. The connection board 14 has two pairs of through holes 141. One side of the connection board 14 has two holes 142.

The two pedals 2 are coupled on top of the two elastic units 3. Each pedal 2 has a connection trough 21 on a bottom thereof.

Each elastic unit 3 has an axle hole 31 at one end thereof. The axle hole 31 is disposed in the inner space of the connection board 14 and corresponding to the relative through holes 141 and inserted by an axle member 32 to be positioned. Each elastic unit 3 comprises a fixing board 33 next to the axle hole 31. The fixing board 33 is fitted with an engaging board 34. The fixing board 33 is first connected with the connection trough 21 of the corresponding pedal 2, and then connected to the engaging board 34. The bottom of one end of the engaging board 34 is connected with an arc board 35. The bottom end of the arc board 35 is provided with a pulley 36. The pulley 36 is located on the corresponding slide board 12 of the base 1.

The connection board 14 is connected with a rod 4. The rod 4 comprises a locking board 41 at a lower end thereof. The locking board 41 has locking holes 42 thereon. Locking members 43 are inserted in the locking holes 42 and the holes 142 of the connection board 14 so that the locking board 41 is coupled to the connection board 14. A spring 44 is provided on the lower end of the rod 41 and located above the locking board 41. A handle 45 is provided on the top of the rod 41.

As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, when the present invention is assembled, the user stands on the two pedals 2 and jumps up and down through the arc board 35 of each elastic unit 3 to provide elasticity. When the pedal 2 is pressed by the user's weight, the arc board 35 will be deformed downward and the pulley 36 will slide outward on the slide board 12 so that each pedal 2 can be moved downward. By the elasticity of the arc board 35, each pedal 2 can be bounced upward. Thus, the present invention can assist the user in exercising up and down to imitate horse riding or to dance horse riding, providing exercise, bodybuilding and amusement objects.

The rod 4 of the present invention is for the user to hold thereon for balance.

Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
