BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1. Field of the Invention
This invention relates to a pen, and more particularly to an eyelash-adhesive dispensing pen operable for adhering a false eyelash to an eyelid.
2. Description of the Related Art
Referring to
The aforesaid conventional eyelash-adhesive container 10 suffers from a drawback. That is, the amount of the eyelash adhesive flowing out of the container cannot be controlled precisely, thereby resulting in consumption of the eyelash adhesive and inconvenience during use.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe object of this invention is to provide an eyelash-adhesive dispensing pen that is configured to allow the amount of the eyelash adhesive flowing out of the pen to be controlled precisely.
According to this invention, an eyelash-adhesive dispensing pen includes a pen unit and an ejecting unit. The pen unit includes a pen body defining an inner hole, an adhesive outlet, and a fixed member disposed fixedly within the pen body and formed with a threaded hole. The ejecting unit includes a rotating shaft threaded within the threaded hole, and an adhesive pushing block disposed on the rotating shaft to define an adhesive receiving chamber for receiving an eyelash adhesive therein. The rotating shaft is rotatable relative to the fixed member to move the adhesive pushing block toward the adhesive outlet to thereby eject the eyelash adhesive out of the adhesive receiving chamber through the adhesive outlet.
Since the rotating shaft is threaded within the threaded hole, it can be rotated to move the pushing block, so as to allow for precise control of the amount of the eyelash adhesive flowing out of the pen.
These and other features and advantages of this invention will become apparent in the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of this invention, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
Referring to
The pen unit 20 includes a pen body 21, a fixed member 22, a front connecting device 23, a rear cap 24, a pen core member 25, a pen tip member 26, and a front cap 27.
The pen body 21 has a front end 211, a rear end 212, and an inner wall surface 213 surrounding an axis (I) and defining an inner hole 214.

The pen core member 25 includes a connecting seat 251 disposed fixedly in the pen body 21 and defining a front end of an adhesive receiving chamber 215, and a core tube 252 extending forwardly from the connecting seat 251 and formed with an adhesive outlet 253. The adhesive outlet 253 has a diameter smaller than that of the inner hole 214 in the pen body 21.
The pen tip member 26 is disposed fixedly in the front end 211 of the pen body 21, is sleeved around the core tube 252, and has a frustoconical front end 261 permitting the core tube 252 to extend therethrough in a close fitting manner, so as to position the core tube 252 in the pen body 21.
The front cap 27 is sleeved removably on the front end 211 of the pen body 21 for covering front ends of the pen core member 25 and the pen tip member 26.
The ejecting unit 30 includes a rotating shaft 31 and an adhesive pushing block 32.
With particular reference to
The adhesive pushing block 32 is sleeved fixedly and sealingly on the insert end 312 of the rotating shaft 31 and in sealing contact with the pen body 21 to define the adhesive receiving chamber 215 in the pen body 21 between the adhesive pushing block 32 and the connecting seat 251 of the pen core member 25. The adhesive pushing block 32 is made of silicone or rubber such that a liquid-tight seal is established between the adhesive pushing block 32 and the pen body 21.
As such, the rotating shaft 31 is rotatable relative to the fixed member 22 to move the adhesive pushing block 32 toward the adhesive outlet 253 along the axis (I) to thereby eject the eyelash adhesive out of the adhesive receiving chamber 215 through the adhesive outlet 253.

With particular reference to
The rotating member 51 is sleeved on the rotating shaft 31, and has a rear portion disposed within the insert portion 232 of the rear cap 24, a front portion extending into the fixed member 22, and a flange 513 extending radially and inwardly from the front portion.
The first ratchet teeth 52 extend from the flange 513 of the rotating member 51.
The second ratchet teeth 53 extend from the flange 224 of the fixed member 22, and engage the first ratchet teeth 52.
The intermediate connecting device 54 includes a plurality of first splines 541 extending inwardly from said rear cap 24, and a plurality of second splines 542 extending outwardly from the rotating member 51. Each of the first splines 541 extends into a space defined by two adjacent second splines 542, so as to allow for co-rotation of the rotating member 51 with the rear cap 24.
The distance between the axis (I) and the first splines 541 is smaller than that between the axis (I) and the ribs 231.
Due to the presence of the intermediate connecting unit 54, the rear cap 23 is co-rotatable with the rotating member 51.
The resilient member 55 is configured as a compression spring that is disposed in the rear cap 24 and the rotating member 51 and that is sleeved on the rotating shaft 31 between the flange 513 of the rotating member 51 and the insert strips 41. As such, the rotating member 51 is biased by the resilient member 55 toward the fixed member 22 to engage the first ratchet teeth 52 with the second ratchet teeth 53.
With particular reference to
In view of the above, the eyelash-adhesive dispensing pen of this invention has the following advantages:
- 1. The amount of the eyelash adhesive flowing of the pen can be controlled precisely so as to avoid consumption of the eyelash adhesive. Furthermore, the pen is easy to use.
- 2. Since the rotating shaft 31 rotates in only a single direction, the eyelash adhesive is ejected out as long as the rear cap 24 is rotated. That is, the eyelash adhesive cannot be retracted into the pen, so that undesired entrance of air into the pen can be prevented, thereby further resulting in convenience during use.
With this invention thus explained, it is apparent that numerous modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope and spirit of this invention. It is therefore intended that this invention be limited only as indicated by the appended claims.
