Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention relates to the field of personal protection by means of armored clothing. It is particularly related to a T type undershirt (T-Shirt, in English) containing special armor protecting all the body trunk of a human user against attacks with firearm.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Within the area of personal and individual protection against attacks with firearm, bladed weapon and even inflammatory artifact, great breakthroughs have been developed with the aim of achieving clothing that may be light and comfortable as well as easy to carry and providing at the same time a high protection level. Those that are best known are the famous bulletproof vests.

Such vests have been characterized in that they are uncomfortable, heavy and they are at sight, which is not comfortable for people.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Then there is a need of light, comfortable, impermeable clothing and which may be unnoticeable to the public sight. This invention meets this need providing a T type undershirt (T-shirt) manufactured based on a special material, and so that the T-shirt may house the armored plates.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a front elevation view of the T-shirt according to the invention.

FIG. 2 is a back elevation view of the T-shirt of the invention.

FIG. 3 is a left side elevation view of the T-shirt of the invention.

FIG. 4 is a right side elevation view of the T-shirt of the invention.

FIG. 5 is a top elevation view of the T-shirt of this invention.

FIG. 6 is a bottom elevation view of the T-shirt of this invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THIS INVENTION

Referring to FIG. 1, a front portion 10 of the T-shirt 1 can be seen, showing the normal shape of a T type undershirt, wherein the opening for the neck 11 composed of a reinforcement fabric 5 and on the sides the openings 12 for passing through the arms of the user is shown. These openings are also composed of a fabric 5. From each of the openings for the arms, a sewing line is shown, which comes down up to the lower part of the front portion. This front portion 10 is composed of two portions made of fabric, an outside portion and another inside portion sewed on la lower part and on its sides. The upper part of the two fabrics is left seamless for thus forming a pocket having the size of the front portion of the T-shirt. An armor plate is introduced into the opening of the pocket and is arranged providing enough protection to the whole thorax and abdominal region of the user.

Referring to FIG. 2, a back portion 20 of the T-shirt 1 can be seen, wherein the normal shape of a T type undershirt is shown, wherein the opening for the neck 11 and, on its sides, the openings 12 for passing through the arms of the user can be seen. Both the opening 11 and the openings 12 are composed of a material 5. From each of the openings for the arms, two sewing lines coming down up to the lower part of the back portion 20 are shown. This back portion 20 is composed of two portions made of fabric, an outside portion and another inside portion sewed on la lower part and on its sides. The upper part of the two fabrics is left seamless for thus forming a pocket having the size of the back portion 20 of the T-shirt. An armor plate is introduced into the opening of the pocket and is arranged providing enough protection to the whole back of the user.

FIG. 3 shows a left side view of the T-shirt wherein the side zone comprising four strips made of fabric which come loose from the lower zone of the openings for the arms 12 of the user come down to the lower part of the T-shirt, can be seen. Two of the strips are attached, one to the front portion and the other to the back portion on one of their lateral longitudinal edges. The other longitudinal lateral edge of the strips is attached to the other two central strips made of fabric on one of their lateral longitudinal edges and finally these two central strips are attached one to the other on the remaining edges by means of a invisible zipper, which may be the sewed one #2 YKK, 25 cm. This structure provides the T-shirt with resistance and at the same time elasticity so that the T-shirt is well adapted to the body of the user.

FIG. 4 shows a right side view of the T-shirt. This view is symmetrical to the view of FIG. 3 and is formed in the same way and with similar elements or strips made of fabric and, therefore, it is not going to be described n detail.

FIGS. 5 and 6 show top and bottom views of the T-shirt as it fits when being used, in which the opening for the head and neck of the user can be seen, as well as the openings for passing through the arms of the user. The opening for the head of the user is delimited by the strips for the shoulders of the user and the front portion and the back portion. On the strips for the shoulders one can see an outmost strip which is a reinforcement delimiting and forming the opening for the arms.

The T-shirt has been thought and designed using state-of-the-art materials, so that the final product may be for permanent use and thought for comfort, protection and discretion of the user. For example, the material of reinforcements of the opening for the neck and for arms is Rib, a knitted fabric with 50% polyester and 50% cotton 228±11 g×m2. The material of the front portion 10 and the back portion 20 may be a Powernet type mesh which is a knitted fabric with 14% Elastane and 86% Nylon 330±23 g×m2. The zone of the sides of the T-shirt may be made of a
