Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a one hand lipstick case structure that applies a lipstick to a user's lips with one hand, not with both hands, thereby making it more convenient to use.

2. Background of the Related Art

A lipstick case structure is generally composed of a bar-shaped case into which a lipstick is accommodated and a cap adapted to be selectively coupled to the top end of the case.

For example, in case where only the lipstick is protruded outwardly from the lipstick case structure by a user's manipulation, the lipstick should be exposed long to the outside of the lipstick case structure so as to avoid the direct contact between the user's lips and the top surface of the case. In this case, the lipstick may be broken while in use, and in the exposing process, further, the lipstick may be escaped from the case.

If only the lipstick is protruded outwardly from the lipstick case structure, the distance between the lipstick case structure and the lipstick is relatively long in a horizontal direction, thereby making the merchantability of the product remarkably low.

So as to solve the above-mentioned problems, the diameter of the lipstick case structure becomes small, and alternatively, the diameter of the lipstick becomes large. However, there is a limit in the reduction of the diameter of the top periphery of the lipstick case structure, and the increment of the diameter of the lipstick to prevent the lipstick from being broken causes the merchantability to be low. Therefore, there is a definite need for the development of a new lipstick case structure capable of providing excellent outer appearances and many conveniences in use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Hereinafter, an explanation on a one hand lipstick case structure according to preferred embodiments of the present invention will be in detail given with reference to the attached drawings.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a main technical feature of a one hand lipstick case structure according to a first embodiment of the present invention is to expose or insert a lipstick 2 from the interior of the case 300 or into the case 300 just with a user's one hand and to provide many conveniences while in use. Accordingly, the one hand lipstick case structure 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention largely includes a holder 100, a chimney 200, and a case 300.

According to the first embodiment of the present invention, the holder 100 includes an insertion part 110 into which the lipstick 2 is insertedly mounted, a button 120 extended outwardly from the insertion part 110 in such a manner as to move the lipstick 2 mounted into the insertion part 110 in upward and downward directions through the manipulation of a user's one hand, and a soft cover 130 extended upwardly from the outside of the button 120 and having an opening 132a formed along the longitudinal direction thereof in such a manner as to allow the lipstick 2 to be selectively exposed therethrough in accordance with the movements of the button 120. On the other hand, the chimney 200 is adapted to be inserted into the holder 100 in such a manner as to be first exposed, to a given length capable of avoiding the direct contact between the user's lips and the top surface of the case 300, to the outside of the top surface of the case 300 by means of the upward movement of the button 120 by a given length so as to use the lipstick 2, and adapted to move only the lipstick 2 upwardly when the upward movement of the button 120 is additionally operated by means of the user.

The holder 100 can be made by integrating the insertion part 110, the button 120 and the cover 130 with one another, but it is not necessarily limited thereto.

The insertion part 110 has an insertion groove having a given length formed to insertedly mount the lipstick 2 thereinto. The whole shape of the insertion part 110 corresponds to the shape of the lipstick 2, but it is not necessarily limited thereto. Further, since most of lipsticks have a shape of a cylinder, the lipstick 2 of the present invention also has the cylindrical shape, but it is not necessarily limited thereto.

The insertion part 110 is kept in the state of insertedly mounting the lower end periphery of the lipstick 2 thereinto, so that when the button 120 is moved upwardly and downwardly by means of the user so as to use the lipstick 2, the lipstick 2 is not escaped from the insertion part 110 and is stably fixed thereto.

The button 120 is spaced apart from the lower side periphery of the front surface of the insertion part 110 by a given distance and is moved upwardly and downwardly by means of the contact with a user's finger. So as to prevent the user's finger from sliding on the button 120, further, the button 120 has protrusions or a sliding prevention pad layer formed on the front surface thereof.

According to the present invention, the button 120 has an upwardly and downwardly moving track, which corresponds to the moving track of the lipstick 2.

If the button 120 is moved upwardly by means of the user so as to use the lipstick 2, for example, the lipstick 2 is also exposed toward the top side of the case 300, and if the button 120 is moved downwardly after the use of the lipstick 2 has been finished, the lipstick 2 is also moved to the lower portion of the interior of the case 300. Since the moving direction of the button 120 and the moving direction of the lipstick 2 always correspond to each other, when the lipstick 2 is used, the lipstick 2 can be conveniently used, without any difficulties and complications.

According to the present invention, the cover 130 is adapted to selectively open and close an opening 302 formed on the case 300 in accordance with the moving states of the button 120, thereby allowing the lipstick 2 to be exposed to the outside. The cover 130 is made of any one selected from rubber, soft plastic and materials similar thereto. If the cover 130 is made of a soft material, the whole weight of the lipstick case structure is reduced to make the use of the lipstick case structure more convenient, and further, the manufacturing cost thereof is decreased to make the lipstick case structure supplied to consumers in more economical prices.

The cover 130 includes a first extension portion 132 extended upwardly from the button 120 and having the opening 132a formed partially along the longitudinal direction thereof, a second extension portion 134 bent horizontally from the end portion of the first extension portion 132 in such a manner as to have the width and length corresponding to the top surface of the case 300, and a third extension portion 136 bent downwardly from the end portion of the second extension portion 134.

The opening 132a is formed to an oval shape on the first extension portion 132, but it may have any other shape, without any limitation thereto. At this time, desirably, the opening 132a is formed in the longitudinal direction of the first extension portion 132 so as to allow the lipstick 2 to be stably exposed therethrough. According to the present invention, the reason why the opening 132a has an oval shape is that since the lipstick 2 has a given length in a vertical direction, the lipstick 2 is stably exposed or drawn to/from the outside of the opening 302 of the case 300, irrespective of the length of the lipstick 2.

The first extension portion 132 and the second extension portion 134 are moved along the front and back surfaces of the case 300 in such a manner as to allow the lipstick 2 to be exposed to the outside of the case 300 in accordance with the manipulations of the button 120 by means of the user. In more detail, if the button 120 is located at the lower side of a second slot 303 formed on the case 300 before it is used by means of the user, the first extension portion 132 is not moved to the opening 302 formed on the case 300 but located at the inside of the front surfaces of an inner case 310 and an outer case 320, so that the lipstick 2 is not exposed to the outside of the opening 302 of the case 300.

Contrarily, if the button 120 is moved to the upper side of the second slot 303, the second extension portion 134 is moved to the back surface of the inside of the case 300, and the first extension portion 132 is moved to the opening 302 in such a manner as to allow the opening 132a and the opening 303 to communicate to each other, thereby allowing the lipstick 2 to be exposed to the outside of the case 300.

The second extension portion 134 is maintained to close the top surface of the opening 302 of the case 300 before the lipstick 2 is exposed to the outside of the case 300, thereby preventing external foreign matters from entering the case 300.

The second extension portion 134 is bent in the horizontal direction from the top end of the first extension portion 134 in such a manner as to have the width and length corresponding to the top surface of the inside of the case 300, but since the cover 130 is made of a soft material, the second extension portion 134 can be easily moved to the front and back surfaces of the inside of the case 300. The third extension portion 136 is bent downwardly from the end portion of the second extension portion 134, but it may not have the length as shown in the drawings.

Now, an explanation on the chimney 200 adopted in the one hand lipstick case structure according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be given.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 4, the chimney 200 serves as a chimney mechanism for one hand lipstick by up and down type, and the main features thereof will be described. The chimney 200 is first moved to a given length capable of avoiding the direction contact between the user's lips and the top surface of the case 300 if the upward movement of the button 120 is performed to use the lipstick 2, and after that, if the upward movement of the button 120 is additionally operated by means of the user, the chimney 200 is maintained to the position currently moved, without any upward movement.

In the state where the position of the chimney 200 is fixed, the insertion part 110 into which the lipstick 2 is insertedly mounted is moved at least 1 mm or more toward the top side of the chimney 200, so that in the state where the user's lips have no direct contact with the top surface of the case 300, the lipstick 2 can be all consumed, thereby providing more economical advantages and conveniences in use.

The chimney 200 has a first slot 210 formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof in the longitudinal direction thereof to move the button 120 upwardly and downwardly and a stepped protrusion 211 formed on the right side on the figures in such a manner as to selectively lock the button 120 thereonto, so that the chimney 200 can be first moved near the opening 302 of the case 300.

According to the present invention, that is, the chimney 200 is moved inside the case 300 with two operating states. In case of the first operating state, the button 120 is kept contacted with the stepped protrusion 211 of the chimney 200 before the lipstick 2 is exposed to the outside of the case 300, and accordingly, if the button 120 is moved upwardly by means of the manipulation of the user, the chimney 200 is moved by means of the upward moving force of the button 120.

In case of the second operating state, if the button 120 contacted with the stepped protrusion 211 of the chimney 200 is moved to the first slot 210, the chimney 200 is moved along the longitudinal direction of the first slot 210, and accordingly, the button 120 is moved to the top side of the first slot 210, so that the lipstick 2 is exposed to the outside of the opening 302 of the case 300.

The chimney 200 has coupling pins 202 formed protrudedly from the outer periphery thereof in such a manner as to face each other, and the coupling pins 202 are inserted into the guide slots 302 formed partially along the longitudinal directions of the inner surfaces of the inner case 310 of the case 300, thereby being moved together with the chimney 200. The coupling pins 202 are formed at the positions of the outer peripheral surface of the chimney 200 corresponding to the lower end of the first slot 210, but they are not necessarily limited to the positions as shown in the figures.

It is assumed that the second slot 303 along which the button 120 is moved has the whole length of 100 mm, and if the button 120 is located at a position upwardly distant by 75 mm to 80 mm from the lower end of the second slot 303, the chimney 200 is exposed to the top side of the case 300, and accordingly, a portion of the lipstick 2 is exposed to the outside of the case 300.

Now, an explanation on the case 300 adopted in the one hand lipstick case structure according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be given.

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIGS. 5a to 6b the case 300 is composed of the inner case 310 and the outer case 320, and the inner case 310 includes the guide slots 312 each having a first guide slot 312a and a second guide slot 312b.

The first guide slots 312a are formed linearly along the longitudinal directions of the left and right sides of the inner case 310 on the figures, which are adapted to move the chimney 200 from the lower side of the case 300 to the upper side thereof. The first guide slots 312a are formed linearly, and therefore, if the button 200 is moved upwardly by means of the user's manipulation, the chimney 200 is moved to the upper side of the case 300.

The second guide slots 312b are extended from the top ends of the first guide slots 312a toward one sides thereof in such a manner as to be slant to a given angle, which face each other on the left and right sides of the inner case 310. The second guide slots 312b are extended from the top ends of the first guide slots 312a in different directions from each other, which prevents the lipstick 2 from moving to the inside of the case 300 after the chimney 200 has been moved by a given position to the upper portion of the inside of the case 300 and thus maintains the currently exposed position of the lipstick 2.

While the lipstick 2 is being applied to the user's lips, in this case, the lipstick 2 is not inserted unexpectedly into the case 300, thereby achieving the application of the lipstick 2 in a more stable manner.

Referring to FIGS. 6a and 6b, if the button 120 is moved upwardly and the coupling pins 202 are moved from the first guide slots 312a to the second guide slots 312b, the whole chimney 200 is rotated in the direction of the arrow, thereby allowing the moving state of the coupling pins 202 from the top ends of the first guide slots 312a to the second guide slots 312b to be maintained.

If the coupling pins 202 are moved to the second guide pins 312b formed on the left and right sides of the inner case 310, the chimney 200 are rotated in the direction of the arrow, and next, the button 120 locked onto the stepped protrusion 211 becomes movable to the first slot 210, so that the lipstick 2 and a portion of the chimney 200 are moved upwardly through the opening 302.

As shown in FIG. 6b, if the button 120 is kept moved upwardly by means of the user's manipulation, the button 120 is moved along the first slot 210, and the insertion part 110 into which the lipstick 2 is insertedly mounted is protruded 1 mm or more upwardly, thereby completing the movement of the lipstick 2.

In case where the protruded lipstick 2 is applied to the user's lips, the coupling pins 202 are kept inserted into the second guide slots 312b, and therefore, unless the button 120 is moved downwardly by means of the user's manipulation, the currently protruded state of the lipstick 2 can be stably maintained.

In the configurations of the inner case 310 and the outer case 320, for the reference, the second slot 303 along which the button 120 is moved is open, and the inner case 310 is insertedly fitted into the outer case 320.

Now, an explanation on a one hand lipstick case structure according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be given with reference to FIGS. 7 to 11e.

Referring to FIGS. 7 to 8, a main technical feature of a one hand lipstick case structure according to a second embodiment of the present invention is to expose or insert a lipstick 2 from the interior of a case 3000 or into the case 3000 just with a user's one hand and to provide many conveniences while in use. Accordingly, the one hand lipstick case structure 1a according to the second embodiment of the present invention largely includes a holder 1000, a chimney 2000, and a case 3000.

According to the second embodiment of the present invention, the holder 1000 includes an insertion part 1100 disposed at the inside of the case 3000, into which the lipstick 2 is insertedly mounted, a button 1200 extended outwardly from the insertion part 1100 in such a manner as to move the lipstick 2 mounted into the insertion part 1100 in upward and downward directions by means of the manipulation of a user's one hand, a soft extension portion 1300 extended upwardly from the outer periphery of the insertion part 1100, to which a user's force being applied to the button 1200 is transmitted directly, and a cover 1400 connected to the top end of the extension portion 1300.

The insertion part 1100 has an insertion groove having a given length formed to insertedly mount the lipstick 2 thereinto. The whole shape of the insertion part 1100 corresponds to the shape of the lipstick 2, but it is not necessarily limited thereto. Further, since most of lipsticks have a shape of a cylinder, the lipstick 2 of the present invention also has the cylindrical shape, but it is not necessarily limited thereto.

The insertion part 1100 is maintained in the state of insertedly mounting the lower end periphery of the lipstick 2 thereinto, so that when the button 1200 is moved upwardly and downwardly by means of the user to use the lipstick 2, the lipstick 2 is not escaped from the insertion part 1100 and is stably fixed thereto.

The button 1200 is spaced apart from the lower side periphery of the front surface of the insertion part 1100 by a given distance and is moved upwardly and downwardly by means of the contact with a user's finger. So as to prevent the user's finger from sliding on the button 1200, further, the button 1200 has protrusions or a sliding prevention pad layer formed on the front surface thereof. According to the present invention, the button 1200 has an upwardly and downwardly moving track, which corresponds to the moving track of the lipstick 2.

If the button 1200 is moved upwardly by means of the user to use the lipstick 2, for example, the lipstick 2 is also exposed toward the top side of the case 3000, and if the button 1200 is moved downwardly after the use of the lipstick 2 has been finished, the lipstick 2 is also moved to the lower portion of the interior of the case 3000. Since the moving direction of the button 1200 and the moving direction of the lipstick 2 always correspond to each other, when the lipstick 2 is used, the lipstick 2 can be conveniently used, without any difficulties and complications.

According to the present invention, the extension portion 1300 is not extended from the top side of the button 1200, but extended upwardly from the lower side of the insertion part 110 by a given length in such a manner as to be rounded upwardly at the end portion thereof. With such formation, the soft extension portion 1300 is moved more stably along the inside of the case 3000, while at the same time performing the opening and closing of the cover 1400.

The extension portion 1300 is extended upwardly from the lower side of the insertion part 110 by a given length in such a manner as to be rounded upwardly at the end portion thereof, and in this case, since the extension portion 1300 has a given elastic force, it is bent rounded with a given radius in the longitudinal direction in such a manner as to be cooperatively operated with the movement of the button 1200 and is thus moved along the inside of the case 3000. In this case, even when the button 1200 is moved upwardly and downwardly with a relatively small force applied from the user, the force applied to the button 1200 is transmitted all to the extension portion 1300 through the bent portion thereof, thereby allowing the lipstick 2 to be moved in a more convenient manner.

The cover 1400 is mounted on the top end of the extension portion 1300 by means of a hinge in such a manner as to be rotatable to a given angle, and the cover 1400 is moved at the inside of the case 3000 together with the extension portion 1300 in accordance with the moving states of the button 1200. So as to expose the lipstick 2 to the outside of the case 3000, further, the cover 1400 is cooperatively operated with the movement of the extension portion 1300, thereby opening and closing the top surface of an opening 3002 formed on the top side of the case 3000.

Now, an explanation on the chimney 2000 adopted in the one hand lipstick case structure according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be given.

Referring to FIG. 7, the chimney 2000 is fitted to the outer periphery of the insertion part 1100 into which the lipstick 2 is insertedly mounted and is protruded together with the lipstick 2 when the lipstick 2 is exposed to the outside of the opening 3002, thereby guiding the stable exposure of the lipstick 2. The chimney 2000 has a first slot 2100 formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof along the longitudinal direction thereof.

The chimney 2000 is first protruded from the top surface of the case 3000 to a given length capable of avoiding the direct contact between the user's lips and the top surface of the case 3000 if the upward movement of the button 120 is performed to use the lipstick 2, and after that, if the upward movement of the button 1200 is additionally operated by means of the user, the chimney 2000 just moves the lipstick 2 upwardly.

The first slot 2100 of the chimney 2000 is formed to move the button 1200 upwardly and downwardly, and a stepped protrusion 2110 is formed on the right side on the figure in such a manner as to selectively lock the button 1200 thereonto, so that the chimney 2000 can be first moved near the opening 3002 of the case 3000.

According to the present invention, that is, the chimney 2000 is moved inside the case 3000 with two operating states. In case of the first operating state, the button 1200 is kept contacted with the stepped protrusion 2110 of the chimney 2000 before the lipstick 2 is exposed to the outside of the case 300, and accordingly, if the button 1200 is moved upwardly by means of the manipulation of the user, the chimney 2000 is moved by a given distance by means of the upward moving force of the button 1200. As mentioned above, the chimney 2000 and the lipstick 2 are first moved to the top side of the case 3000 to the given length capable of avoiding the direct contact between the user's lips and the top surface of the case 3000.

In case of the second operating state, if the button 1200 is kept moved upwardly, the button 1200 is moved from the stepped protrusion 2110 to the first slot 2100, and the chimney 2000 is rotated in one side direction thereof, thereby additionally moving the protruding lipstick 2 upwardly by a given length and at the same time protruding the insertion part 1100 at least 1 mm or more outwardly from the opening 3002, so that the user's lips using the lipstick 2 have no direct contact with the top surface of the case 3000.

The chimney 200 has coupling pins 2002 formed protrudedly from the outer periphery thereof in such a manner as to face each other, and the coupling pins 2002 are inserted into guide slots 3110 formed along the longitudinal directions of the inner surfaces of the inner case 3100 of the case 3000, thereby being moved together with the chimney 2000. The coupling pins 2002 are formed at the positions of the outer peripheral surface of the chimney 2000 corresponding to the lower end of the first slot 2100, but they are not necessarily limited to the positions as shown in the figures.

Now, an explanation on the case 3000 adopted in the one hand lipstick case structure according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be given.

Referring to FIGS. 7 to 10b, the case 3000 is composed of the inner case 3100 and the outer case 3200, and the inner case 3100 includes the guide slots 3110 into which the coupling pins 2002 are inserted, each guide slot 3110 having a first guide slot 3111 and a second guide slot 3112. The first guide slots 3111 are formed linearly along the longitudinal directions of the left and right sides of the inner case 3100.

Also, the guide slots 3110 face each other, and the second guide slots 3112 are extended from the top ends of the first guide slots 3111 in different directions from each other, so that if the coupling pins 2002 are moved to the second guide slots 3112, the chimney 2000 is rotated to one side direction thereof.

The first guide slots 3111 are adapted to move the chimney 2000 from the lower side of the case 300 to the upper side thereof, and since the first guide slots 3111 are formed linearly, the chimney 2000 is moved to the upper side of the case 3000.

The second guide slots 3112 are extended from the top ends of the first guide slots 3111 toward the right sides thereof in such a manner as to be slant to a given angle, which allows the lipstick 2 to be exposed to the outside of the case 3000 after the chimney 200 has been moved by a given position to the upper portion of the inside of the case 3000 and thus maintains the currently exposed position of the lipstick 2, without having any movement to the inside of the case 3000 while the exposed lipstick 2 is being applied. As a result, the extension of the second guide slots 3112 prevents the lipstick 2 from moving to the inside of the case 300 while the lipstick 2 is being applied to the user's lips and allows the application of the lipstick 2 in a more stable manner.

Further, if the coupling pins 2002 are moved from the first guide slots 3111 to the second guide slots 3112, the whole chimney 2000 is rotated in one side direction thereof, so that the coupling pins 2002 are kept inserted into the second guide slots 3112, without having any movement to the first guide slots 3111.

As the chimney 2000 is rotated in one side direction thereof, the button 1200 locked onto the lower side of the stepped protrusion 2110 becomes movable to the first slot 2100, so that the lipstick 2 and a portion of the insertion part 1100 fitted into the chimney 2000 are moved upwardly through the opening 3002 formed on the case 3000.

In the configurations of the inner case 3100 and the outer case 3200, the second slot 3003 along which the button 1200 is moved is open, and the inner case 3100 is insertedly fitted into the outer case 3200.

The inner case 3100 has grooves 3001 adapted to guide the movements of the extension portion 1300 and the cover 1400 in such a manner as to insert the left and right sides of the extension portion 1300 and the cover 1400 in the longitudinal directions thereof thereinto.

When the extension portion 1300 and the cover 1400 are moved through the inner case 3100, the grooves 3001 provide the space into which the left and right sides of the extension portion 1300 and the cover 1400 are inserted by a given length, so that the extension portion 1300 can be more stably moved in upward and downward directions by means of the button 1200 manipulated by the user. As shown, the cover 1400 is adapted to open and close the opening 3002 in such a manner as to be rotated by means of the hinge along the inclined passages of the grooves 3001.

Now, an explanation on the operating state of the one hand lipstick case structure according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be given with reference to FIGS. 11a to 11e.

FIG. 11a shows the state where before the lipstick 2 is exposed to the outside of the case 3000 the cover 1400 is not open, while the opening 3002 formed on the case 300 is being closed.

Referring to FIGS. 11b and 11c, if the button 1200 is moved upwardly along the direction of the arrow so as to apply the lipstick 2, the moving force of the button 1200 is applied to the extension portion 1300, and the cover 1400 and a portion of the extension portion 1300 are moved to the inside of the case 3000 along the grooves 3001 of the inner case 3000. Further, the coupling pins 2002 are moved from the first guide slots 3111 (see FIG. 9) to the second guide slots 3112, and accordingly, the chimney 2000 is rotated in one side direction thereof, so that the button 1200 becomes movable to the top side of the first slot 2100.

Referring next to FIGS. 11d and 11e, if the button 1200 is kept moved to the top side of the first slot 2100 in the direction of the arrow by means of the user's manipulation, the chimney 2000 is exposed to the outside of the case 3000, and the coupling pins 2002 are kept inserted into the second guide slots 3112, so that unless the button 1200 is moved downwardly by means of the user's manipulation, the currently protruded state of the lipstick 2 can be stably maintained, without any movement of the lipstick 2 to the inside of the case 3000.

As set forth in the foregoing, the one hand lipstick case structure according to the preferred embodiments of the present invention is capable of being conveniently manipulated with the user's one hand when the lipstick is used, thereby improving the convenience of the use and the satisfaction of the product.

According to the present invention, further, the lipstick is not broken or moved downwardly while in use, thereby providing the stable use thereof, and if a given color is coated on the chimney, the lipstick case structure is more improved in the outer appearance thereof, thereby providing high merchantability.

Additionally, the lipstick can be used, while being not exposed totally to the outside of the case, and most of the lipstick mounted into the insertion part of the holder can be consumed, thereby providing economical advantages.

While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
