Adjustable Batting Apparatus
An adjustable batting apparatus contains a spring, at least one batting pad, a screw rod, and a nut. The spring is cylindrical and includes a plurality of coils, a first segment, a second segment, and the first segment or the second segment is fixed on a fixing face. The at least one batting pad is connected with the second segment or the first segment. The screw rod is axially inserted into the spring and having a first end coupled with the first segment of the spring and a second end extending out of the second segment of the spring so as to form an adjusting section. The nut screws with the adjusting section so that the nut is rotated to control a length of the adjusting section of the screw rod, hence the spring is pressed or released, thus adjusting a bending flexibility of the spring.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a batting apparatus, and more particularly to an adjustable batting apparatus which is capable of adjusting a desired buffer flexibility based on a user's hitting force and using requirement.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Referring to
As illustrated in
However, the buffer unit 4 of the upright batting apparatus has a fixed bending flexibility without being adjusted according to the user's hitting force or using requirement. In addition, the buffer unit 4 is so soft that can not achieve a hitting effect or is so hard that will hurt the user. Also, if the buffer unit 4 is a rubber column, it will break easily, thus lowering using life.
The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe primary object of the present invention is to provide an adjustable batting apparatus in which a nut is rotated to control a length of an adjusting section of a screw rod so as to press or release a spring, hence a bending flexibility of the spring is adjusted based on user's hitting force and using requirement, thus obtaining a buffer flexibility effect of a batting pad.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an adjustable batting apparatus in which the nut controls the length of the adjusting section of the screw rod so as to adjust the bending flexibility of the spring easily.
An adjustable batting apparatus in accordance with the present invention contains: a spring, at least one batting pad, a screw rod, and a nut.
The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
With reference to
The spring 20 has a second positioning piece 25 mounted on the second segment 23 thereof, and the second positioning piece 25 has a through orifice 251 defined at a central position thereof, and a diameter of the through orifice 251 is larger than that of the screw rod 40. In this embodiment, there is a batting pad 30, and the batting pad 30 is connected with the second segment 23 of the spring 20 by using the second positioning piece 25. The screw rod 40 is axially inserted into the spring 20 and has a first end 41 and a second end 42, and the first end 41 of the screw rod 40 is coupled with the first segment 22 of the spring 20, the second end 42 of the screw rod 40 extends out of the second segment 23 of the spring 20 via the through orifice 251 of the second positioning piece 25 so as to form an adjusting section 40A. The nut 50 matches with a washer 51 to screw with the adjusting section 40A of the screw rod 40 such that the washer 51 abuts against the second positioning piece 25 of the spring 20 so that the spring 20 is pressed.
As shown in
Furthermore, the nut 50 is rotated along the adjusting section 40A of the screw rod 40 so as to control a length of the adjusting section 40A of the screw rod 40, such that the spring 20 is pressed or released. When the length of the adjusting section 40A of the screw rod 40 increases, the spring 20 is pressed as illustrated in
Besides, the first segment 22 of the spring 20 is coupled with the batting pad 30 by ways of the first positioning piece 24, and the second segment 23 of the spring 20 is connected with the fixing face 12 of the base 10 by means of the second positioning piece 25.
As illustrated in
Referring further to
Thereby, the adjustable batting apparatus of the present invention has the following advantages:
1. The nut 50 is rotated to control the length of the adjusting section 40A of the screw rod 40 of the adjustable batting apparatus so as to press or release the spring 20, hence the bending flexibility of the spring 20 is adjusted based on user's hitting force and using requirement, thus obtaining the buffer flexibility effect of the batting pad 30.
2. The nut 50 controls the length of the adjusting section 40A of the screw rod 40 of the adjustable batting apparatus so as to adjust a bending flexibility of the spring 20 easily.
While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it is clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
