CUP CONTAINER

A cup container includes a container body and a transparent cover layer that are formed by injection. The container body has an indented pattern formed on an outer wall thereof The pattern includes at least one first concave surface and one second concave surface at different depths. The transparent cover layer encases the container body and fills the pattern. As the second concave surface is indented on the first concave surface, a stepped structure is formed on the outer wall of the container body to become a three-dimensional pattern. Moreover, with the container body and transparent cover layer formed in varying color combinations, a colorful and multi-layer three-dimensional visual effect can be created to enhance aesthetic appeal and quality, thereby increase consumers' purchase desire.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a container and particularly to a cup container with three-dimensional pattern.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Plastic cups have many advantages, such as easy production, cheap prices and high applicability, hence are widely used in people's daily life nowadays. In order to enhance the value of cup containers, many producers try to provide various designs in style, profile and color to increase the visual appeal of the cup containers. Most of those designs form patterns on the cup surface by printing, enameling or bonding stickers. However, after used for a period of time, the patterns could be faded away or peeled off. Moreover, they are Is merely graphic design without quality value or distinguishable identification.

To remedy the aforesaid drawbacks, some producers have provided a cup container with a double-layer wall, as shown in FIG. 1. The cup 1 comprises an outer wall 11 and an inner wall 12. The outer wall 11 is formed with at least one hollow-out hole 111. The inner wall 12 is held in the outer wall 11 and has a wedge portion 121 matching the hollow-out hole 111. The wedge portion 121 has a curved surface. Although such a design can create three-dimensional effect for the profile of the cup 1, the hollow-out hole 111 and wedge portion 121 also form gaps at the junction after they are coupled together. The gaps may easily gather dirt when in use and also are difficult to be cleaned. hence there are still rooms for improvement.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Therefore the primary object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of lack of three-dimensional effect and drawback in use of the conventional cup containers by providing an improved cup container that has a multi-layer pattern to enhance three-dimensional aesthetic appeal.

To achieve the foregoing object, the cup container of the invention includes a container body and a transparent cover layer. The container body is formed by injection with an opening at the top end and an outer wall with an indented pattern formed thereon. The pattern includes at least one first concave surface and a second concave surface indented on the first concave surface to form a stepped structure on the outer wall of the container body. The transparent cover layer also is formed by injection to encase the container body and fill the pattern. In addition, the container body and transparent cover layer contain respectively at least one color.

By means of the aforesaid technique, the invention provides many advantages, notably: with the indented pattern formed on the outer wall of the container body, and the first and second concave surfaces of the pattern collaborated with color, a multi-layer three-dimensional aesthetic appeal is presented. Moreover, the container body and transparent cover layer can be made in different colors to create even more colorful and diversified visual effect to enhance quality value, thereby increase consumers' purchase desire.

The foregoing, as well as additional objects, features and advantages of the invention will be more readily apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Please refer to FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, the present invention aims to provide a cup container that comprises a container body 2 which is formed by injection with an opening 20 at the top end and an outer wall 21 with a pattern 22 formed thereon like sculpturing. The pattern 22 includes multiple concave surfaces to form a stepped structure. In an embodiment of the pattern 22, two concave surfaces are taken as an example for discussion. The pattern 22 has a first concave surface 221 and a second concave surface 222 indented on the first concave surface 221 to form the stepped structure on the outer wall 21 to create multi-layer three-dimensional aesthetic appeal. The cup container of the invention further comprises a transparent cover layer 3 which is formed by injection to encase the container body 2 and fill the first concave surface 221 and second concave surface 222 to form a smooth wall surface.

Please refer to FIG. 5 for another embodiment of the invention. The pattern 22a can be designed or customized according to users' preferences or requirements. In this embodiment, the pattern 22a is designed as a rose to enhance unique characteristic and quality value of the product.

The container body 2 and transparent cover layer 3 can be made in varying combinations of the same color, different colors or multiple colors. FIG. 6 illustrates an example of multiple colors in the container body 2 and transparent cover layer 3 with the pattern 22 formed around the outer wall 21 of the container body 2, thus a colorful and diversified three-dimensional visual effect can be created to improve aesthetic appeal.

Please also refer to FIGS. 7A and 7B for yet another embodiment of the pattern 22. The pattern 22b includes a first concave surface 221b and a second concave surface 222b that are indented at different depths on the outer wall 21 to form a stepped structure. As the pattern 22b is formed around the outer wall 21, this stepped structure provides a three-dimensional appearance to enhance aesthetic appeal.

In short, the cup container of the invention can eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional cup containers and improve practicality.
