BOTTOM PLATE STRUCTURE FOR INSTALLING FAUCET
A bottom plate structure used for installing a faucet, includes: a bottom plate, with its center provided with an installation hole; an indent slot, formed around perimeter of surface of said bottom plate; and a filling strip, which is of a long strip shape, placed into said indent slot, to form integrally together through over-molding.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a faucet, and in particular to a bottom plate structure used for installing a faucet.
2. The Prior Arts
Presently, in installing a faucet, the bottom plate A and slippery-proof washer B are formed separately, and then they are glued together by using glue, as shown in
Therefore, presently, the design and performance of the bottom plate for a faucet is not quite satisfactory, and it has much room for improvement.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIn view of the problems and drawbacks of the prior art, the present invention provides a bottom plate structure used for installing a faucet, to effectively overcome the shortcomings of the prior art.
A major objective of the present invention is to provide a bottom plate structure for installing a faucet, that is capable of simplifying the production process, saving material, in achieving reducing the production cost.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned objective, the present invention provides a bottom plate structure for installing a faucet, including: a bottom plate; an indent slot; and a filling strip. Wherein, the center of the bottom plate is provided with an installation hole. The indent slot is formed around the perimeter of the bottom plate. The filling strip is placed into the indent slot to form firmly and integrally together into a bottom plate structure through over-molding.
The filling strip is formed by making use of thermoplastic rubber (TPR) or soft plastic type industrial plastic.
Compared with the prior art, the bottom plate structure used for installing a faucet has the following advantages:
1. In the present invention, bottom plate and filling strip are bonded together by means of over-molding. Compared with the prior art, it can eliminate the manual gluing process, hereby simplifying the manufacturing process and reducing the production cost.
2. In the present invention, the filling strip is of a long strip shape, so that material waste during production can be reduced, thus saving the production cost further.
Further scope of the applicability of the present invention will become apparent from the detailed descriptions given hereinafter. However, it should be understood that the detailed descriptions and specific examples, while indicating preferred embodiments of the present invention, are given by way of illustration only, since various changes and modifications within the spirit and scope of the present invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art from this detailed descriptions.
The related drawings in connection with the detailed descriptions of the present invention to be made later are described briefly as follows, in which:
The purpose, construction, features, functions and advantages of the present invention can be appreciated and understood more thoroughly through the following detailed description with reference to the attached drawings.
Refer to
In the present invention, bottom plate 1 and filling strip 13 are bonded together by means of over-molding. Compared with the prior art, it can eliminate the manual gluing process, hereby simplifying the manufacturing process and reducing the production cost. In addition, in the present invention, the filling strip is of a long strip shape, so that material waste during production can be reduced, thus saving the production cost.
The above detailed description of the preferred embodiment is intended to describe more clearly the characteristics and spirit of the present invention. However, the preferred embodiments disclosed above are not intended to be any restrictions to the scope of the present invention. Conversely, its purpose is to include the various changes and equivalent arrangements which are within the scope of the appended claims.
