Abstract: The present invention provides a method for mounting a faucet assembly comprising: extending and passing a water duct of a faucet through a base, and connecting the water duct to a fixing plate, wherein a size of the fixing plate is larger than a size of the base; extending and passing the water duct through a mounting hole of a mounting table, and mounting and fixing the base to the mounting hole; removing the water duct from the fixing plate, and mounting the water duct to the faucet; and mounting the faucet to the base. The object of the present invention is to provide a method for mounting a faucet assembly, so that a water duct of a faucet is less likely to fall during the mounting process, thereby improving the mounting efficiency of the faucet assembly.

Abstract: A method and apparatus used to secure a faucet to a countertop includes a brace with legs joined together at a nut, thereby allowing the legs to pivot about a horizontal axis of the nut. The nut is joined to a threaded rod that extends from a base of a faucet. The legs of the brace pivot such that the legs are both parallel to the threaded rod with one part of the brace above the horizontal axis of the nut and one part of the brace below the horizontal axis of the nut. The threaded rod and brace may then be inserted into a countertop mounting hole. The threaded rod is rotated from above the countertop, thereby drawing the brace towards the countertop and securing the faucet.

In order to minimise the risk of odor formation in an odor trap device of this kind and also to reliably discharge small quantities of urine or liquid present, it is provided, in accordance with the invention, that the sealing diaphragm is fixed on the holder, the holder being supported below the sealing diaphragm.

Abstract: Disclosed are fittings (e.g. tub spouts) suitable for mounting to a member (e.g. a water pipe). Special clamping structures are provided and located in a cavity of a fitting body. The clamping structures have at least two separate clamp parts that surround the water pipe or other member. A set screw can be extended radially inward from a hole in the fitting body to drive a clamp part. This helps to retain the end of the member in the cavity, while distributing clamping load away from a single point.

Abstract: A connecting unit for a sanitary fitting is proposed, said connecting unit having, on one side thereof, plug-in sockets for connection to plug-in nipples of the sanitary fitting. On the opposite side, the connecting unit contains connections for the domestic installation pipes. The sanitary fitting and the connecting unit are connected by plugging in a direction parallel to the wall surface. The connecting unit may contain a flushing pipe which is designed as a continuous bore. When the connecting unit is not yet connected to the sanitary fitting, said flushing pipe can be used to flush out the pipes. Said flushing pipe is stopped from functioning when the connection between the sanitary fitting and the connecting unit is produced.

Abstract: A shower rail riser comprising a riser body having an aperture for receiving a riser rail therethrough, a holder for releasably holding a shower head, an engagement element for in use releasably engaging a riser rail extending through the aperture of the riser body so as to hold the riser body stationary relative thereto, and a handle which depends from the riser body, the handle being movable relative to the riser body so that a user can at least raise the riser body using the handle.

Abstract: A system is provided for mounting a mixing valve on a support surface to connect the mixing valve (101) to supply pipes (109, 111) projecting from the support surface. The system includes a mounting plate (103) for securing to the support surface so that the supply pipes (109, 111) pass through openings in the mounting plate (103). Sleeves (159, 161) fit over the projecting ends of the supply pipes (109, 111) for reception in inlets of the mixing valve (101) to thereby compress the sleeves (159, 161) to grip and retain the pipes (109, 111) in the inlets. The mixing valve (101) is releasably secured to the mounting plate (103) allowing the mixing valve (101) to be detached and the sleeves (159, 161) and mounting plate (103) to be removed from the pipes (109, 111).
