Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The following includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art nor material to the presently described or claimed inventions, nor that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates generally to the field of apparel and more specifically relates to gloves.

2. Description of Related Art

In the winter, temperatures can get very low. Holding a beverage in cold weather is a challenge. Gloves and standard gloves can be slippery and make holding a glass, cup or can difficult. Holding a cold or hot beverage without gloves can be painful and uncomfortable in both warm and cold climates. A suitable solution is desired.

U.S. Design Pat. No. D732,351 to Brynja Bjarnadóttir relates to a beverage holder. The described beverage holder includes an ornamental design for a beverage holder.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known apparel art, the present disclosure provides a novel beverage holder glove system. The general purpose of the present disclosure, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a customized glove with a beverage can style holder pocket in the middle.

A beverage holder glove system is disclosed herein. The beverage holder glove system includes a glove assembly including a glove-portion, and a receptacle having an inner volume, a base, and an open top end. The glove assembly includes the glove-portion and the receptacle forming a continuous knit-member comprising a suitable fabric. The glove assembly comprises a flexible material. The glove-portion is configured to substantially cover a forearm and hand (it can be any length, not necessarily covering the forearm) of a user-wearer during an in-use condition. The receptacle is defined by the inner volume, the base, and the open top end and positioned within a hand of the user-wearer during the in-use condition. The receptacle is configured to support a container therein and the glove-portion is configured to provide an insulating knit-member which may include various hand covering means and materials.

In certain embodiments, the glove assembly includes an audio-output speaker having BLUETOOTH® capability. In other embodiments, the glove assembly may include lights or glowstick receiving capabilities. The glove-portion may include a removable (or a permanent) cellphone sleeve allowing a user-wearer to conveniently store his/her cellphone between uses. A pocket may be included on the outside of the glove that can hold a cellphone and the cellphone can still be used.

The beverage holder glove system may include at least one pocket preferably comprising a zipper-fastener or other suitable pocket fastener. In one embodiment, the at least one pocket comprises a hand-warmer-pocket configured to store a hand-warmer and provide additional comfort to a user-wearer. The glove assembly further includes an aperture (or pocket) for inserting the hand-warmer. In other embodiments, the at least one pocket comprises a money-pocket configured to store at least one item or the at least one pocket comprises a cellphone-pocket configured to store a cellphone. For purposes of summarizing the invention, certain aspects, advantages, and novel features of the invention have been described herein. It is to be understood that not necessarily all such advantages may be achieved in accordance with any one particular embodiment of the invention. Thus, the invention may be embodied or carried out in a manner that achieves or optimizes one advantage or group of advantages as taught herein without necessarily achieving other advantages as may be taught or suggested herein. The features of the invention which are believed to be novel are particularly pointed out and distinctly claimed in the concluding portion of the specification. These and other features, aspects, and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings and detailed description.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to apparel and more particularly to a beverage holder glove system as used to improve the handling of cold or hot beverages.

Generally, the invention is a cold weather glove that is designed to keep a user's hand warm and protected from the elements while still allowing the user to hold a beverage. The device includes a customized glove with a beverage can style holder pocket in the middle. This invention allows a user to easily handle virtually all types of beverage containers with ease; the container fits safely and snug inside the custom glove pocket. The pocket is custom designed so that when he/she pulls the glove on it forms a round space for a beverage container with fingers on one side and thumb on the other just like you would hold a beverage container without a glove on. The beverage holder glove system may include logo areas and a wide variety of color availability and patterns. Sporting events, cold weather and winter activities are more enjoyable with this device (as well as summer or any kind of activities). The device is simple to use and to make. Any logo, team color or design can be quickly and inexpensively produced. A summer version of the glove may be provided including a breathable version.
